The Japanese Garden in Tashkent is truly one of the city’s hidden gems. From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed by a serene atmosphere that feels wonderfully removed from the pace of everyday life. The beautifully landscaped paths, calm ponds dotted with elegant bridges, and thoughtfully arranged greenery create an authentic sense of Japanese tranquility. One of the highlights is the lake—perfect for quiet reflection or simply enjoying the view of swans gliding across the water. The traditional-style wooden gazebos scattered throughout the garden offer cozy spots to sit, relax, and appreciate nature. Whether you visit in spring with cherry blossoms in bloom, or in autumn when the trees turn brilliant shades of red and gold, the garden always has something magical to offer. The area is clean, well-maintained, and ideal for peaceful walks, photography, or a relaxing break with family or friends. Despite being located in central Tashkent, it feels like a world away. The Japanese Garden is not just a place to visit—it’s an experience that revitalizes your mind and senses. Highly recommended for anyone seeking beauty, calmness, and a touch of Japanese charm in Uzbekistan’s capital.

Visited the Japanese Park in Bodomzor yesterday. The place is definitely beautiful — lots of greenery, trees, fresh air, and the lake view is relaxing. It’s a nice spot if you want to sit quietly, have a picnic, or just spend some calm time outdoors. The Japanese fish in the lake are also interesting to watch. But honestly, I don’t think the 30,000 UZS entrance fee is justified. Aside from the scenery, there isn’t much to do or explore. It’s basically just a clean green park with a lake. If the ticket were cheaper, I’d probably recommend it more confidently. Good atmosphere for relaxing, but in my opinion, overpriced for what it offers.
