The stone arch bridge of the 17th century is located on the road to the Chapala fortress. The bridge is located on the Mashavera River, near the village of Chapala, in the municipality of Bolnisi. The bridge is part of a defensive structure. Today, only a thick wall (up to 3 m wide in places) with several round towers and supports, as well as outbuildings, have been preserved on the territory of the fortress.
