I often visit this museum, take the children to the children's museum art therapy (you can find me in the telegram by my name).
I really appreciate the museum and the staff for helping to develop creativity among children and guests: on the ground floor there are tables and ottomans for work right in the halls of the museum, on the second floor I sit with the children on my pads, we work carefully on our tablets, draw with pencils and discuss paintings, and the workers just look at us kindly. Come and create!
For an adult tour, you will need no more than 30 minutes: look at everything and read the descriptions (take a phone with a translator). Admission is inexpensive. There is a piano on the ground floor, you can play.
There is no toilet in the museum.
On weekends, you can see weddings: young people like to be photographed in the walls of the classical museum ;)
They work every day, but in accordance with the Georgian calendar (the museum is closed on Georgian weekends). There is a gallery next to the museum, there are fresh exhibitions, they are constantly changing and it seems that admission is free.

Two-storey museum, entrance 6 lari, mostly paintings. At the time of our visit, a lecture was taking place. A nice interesting little gallery. There is a subscription for 5 museums for 17 GEL.
However, then the wedding came and a photo session began, which made it difficult to move around the museum, but the remark was made to a slightly laughing boy with his mother, which surprised me very much.

It's a good museum. It was very interesting to discover the artistic creativity of Georgia. I got an aesthetic pleasure. There's a Pirosmani painting there. In short, Batumi is not rich in a single beach.)))

I liked it! an excellent gallery, small, you won't get tired of walking) the local art is quite compactly revealed, but there are paintings that require restoration. There are also Pirosmani, as well as foreign artists.

A great place to get acquainted with the paintings of Georgian artists of various directions and a collection of world-class masters while escaping from the heat. The exposition is located on two floors and is able to keep the interest and not tire

The museum is small, the tour was in Georgian for a group of schoolchildren. Therefore, we examined the exhibits (sculptures and paintings) by yourself. I especially liked this painting by Petviashvili "Regret" (2000).

A small but very atmospheric national museum. For a better perception, you need to take a guided tour. Julia, the guide, showed it to us. We are very grateful to her.

I really liked it. Paintings of different styles and times. A beautiful building. It's like a palace inside. We were in parallel with the wedding photo shoot. I don't remember the ticket price, so it means neither much nor little.

The museum building is quite large, the paintings are interesting, but there are few of them. The room allows you to hold thematic exhibitions, musical evenings, lectures - I hope they will appear in the Poster soon. I would like to see more and more different paintings, including young artists. It is mandatory to visit

Thanks to my colleagues for their hospitality and friendliness! A wonderful exposition and temporary exhibitions of contemporary artists.
But it's a pity about the museum itself. The authorities should pay more attention to financing cultural facilities. What is the peeling paint of the walls worth and this is where the works of art are located.
I didn't even find a booklet at the hotel where I could enjoy the sights of Batumi, including museums (it's a pity, I managed to visit only one).

The museum is quite compact, I expected a little more than an exhibition. It was fascinating, even my husband turned on and looked at everything and discussed it with interest.

They were in the winter of 2021. The permanent exhibition of Georgian paintings is modest, but not bad. I was lucky - there was an exhibition by a local artist, I was very impressed by the mountain landscapes.

Well, this ;) the actual exposition can be viewed in 15-20 minutes.
After that, you can contemplate the parade of brides, who arrive in all their glory in an endless stream for a wedding photo shoot in the ceremonial interiors

I do not pretend to be an expert in the field of fine art, but in my opinion the gallery definitely deserves attention, especially since it does not take much time, and the ticket is only GEL 6 per adult. The first floor with classical paintings did not seem particularly interesting, but I really liked the second with modern ones)

The museum is actually small, although reading its description creates a completely different impression: a hall with permanent and seasonal exhibitions. In general, the exterior and interior of the building are quite beautiful and neat. As for the paintings: 2 floors of works painted mainly in oil by Georgian artists, a few works from foreign masters, as well as a couple of sculptures. In general, if you just like to look at paintings, and variety with quantity are not the main criteria for pleasure, then this museum is for you, otherwise I think the answer is clear.

Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the museum, because I couldn't get there on two attempts! ! It says "Open" on the maps, "Working every day" is written on the sign at the museum, we come during business hours, I did not find any information or ads on the site, but we came on May 7 and 10, and it is closed, and we are not alone: people constantly come up and find themselves at a closed door. It's very annoying because it's impossible to even plan a visit. It would be great if the administration would write an announcement about the current working hours at least on the door.

Reviews confuse this place with another museum nearby. This is an ART museum. There are paintings and several sculptures on display. I can't call myself a connoisseur of paintings, but it was interesting. It's a pity that so little is on display, and really everything can be viewed in half an hour maximum.
