It is a very beautiful cathedral. It's a very calm environment. The staff are polite and helpful.

Christ is Risen!!! In 2012, during a pilgrimage trip to Trier to the Chiton of Jesus Christ, they visited France. At the vigil in the Alexander Nevsky Church, it seemed that they had come home to their native Church - the brightest memories

This is the story. The history of the third wave of emigration, the history of the Russian quarter in Paris.
I still remember how at midnight we went to look for this temple. Naturally, everything was closed. We stood near the gate and sighed... When Russian was heard from the sidewalk opposite: "Gentlemen, the temple will be open early tomorrow morning, but in the meantime, please come to our bistro to drink tea" Ooo, emigrant Russian! We did get to the church early in the morning, it's like a fragment of tsarist Russia in France.

If you are a Russian person, and you will be on the Champs-Elysees or at the Arc de Triomphe - go to the Cathedral, you will not regret it. A historical place that is very closely connected with Russia.

I visited the temple with reverence. It is a pity that there are not enough parishioners.
Happy Annunciation Day to all. Health, well-being, peace of mind.

Isn't it time to return this temple to the Russian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate? There is no longer a communist regime in Russia. When it temporarily passed into the jurisdiction of the Church of Constantinople (1931), the documents noted "that after the establishment of conditions for normal Orthodox life in Russia, this cathedral and other Russian churches should be returned to the ROC of the Moscow Patriarchate."
