The best place in Gomel for communication, dating. Quiet, cozy, delicious food and drinks, excellent hookah. The prices are average in the city, it goes up to 100 rubles per person. I really like the concept of the establishment - a medieval bar from the time of prohibition with its own unique atmosphere and even rules. In general, if you haven't visited, I definitely recommend it.)

That's where the advantages end. By silence: the bartender was ringing the container quite noisily and loudly telling stories to those sitting on the bar counter. On Monday, July 1, we visited this place.. it is very atmospheric and unlike other places in Gomel. A young man met us at the entrance and treated us to a very tasty liqueur, which definitely endeared us.. next, we were told the rules of the establishment and led to a table. After studying the menu, we came to the conclusion that the portions in the institution are large and in 1 person 1 portion will be too much, but I wanted to try a lot... there were 3 of us, we ordered 3 different dishes, the weight of each of which was about 500 g. So the three of us ate quite tightly and tried what we wanted. The food is very tasty. The price per serving is very adequate. In general, we were satisfied with the food, the service, and the place itself. We will definitely come back .. ask "To whom"?.. well, of course - " To him" ;-) ...

The cuisine is beyond praise (be sure to try the salad with smoked chicken and truffle cream), cocktails as a separate art form, and hookahs are sold by many establishments.
The waiters work quickly, they know the menu from the kitchen and the bar. You can safely ask them for advice and they will not disappoint you in the choice of dishes. The hookah master also worked at the level of the entire establishment. The coal was changed often, the hookah park was also pleased. Special thanks for the fact that I saw Khalil Mamun. I haven't seen him in hookah bars for a very long time.
The establishment is beyond praise.

The idea of a hidden establishment, not on the passer-by, by appointment. No bright signs and pandemonium. It is located on the ground floor.

It's hard to describe the style, there are a lot of offsets. As I understand it, the subdued red light and dark tones reduce everything to a mystery.
Musical arrangement.
Pure psychedelic. It was the music that eventually played a key role in the short stay there.
Kitchen
I ordered wheat tortillas with CHOPPED chicken and pork, and received three belyash with lightly fried minced meat.
The salmon tartare salad was not bad
Service
Nice guys, which is what they should be in an institution of this level. But no more. Even after a short stay, no one took feedback about emotions, feelings and about the kitchen.
Result
In my subjective opinion, the institution is clearly overrated in everything. It may be good for the local level, but nothing more. Anyone who has been to tourist establishments from the West in other countries will understand what I mean.

Food: small selection, disgusting taste combinations in literally everything, overcooked pasta, salads without salad.
Drinks: I would like to have a bigger selection of cocktails.
Service: do I have to go to the bar to pay?? There are no words. They mixed up the receipts for different people.
Atmosphere: terrible red lighting, loud unmelodic music, lack of proper ventilation + the smell of hookahs, drunk people around.

To begin with, I booked a table for two in a week. Arriving at the establishment, they gave a table in the center of the space on the street, where all the people pass. There were a number of empty seats, but I thought they were occupied. Over time, people came, asked if there were free seats and they were offered free ones that are in the best places and which are much more comfortable. And this moment spoiled the impression of the whole place, including the food.

I hesitated for a long time whether to go or not because of the mixed reviews, but curiosity overcame me. Looking ahead, I didn't regret it.
The institution is located next to the Palace Park, the district administration, and the drama theater. The entrance to the basement is from the street (the arrow shows incorrectly on Yandex maps). You need to ring the bell, and a friend in the opened hatch of the door will answer the question: "Who are you going to see?" After that, the bolt will be unlocked and you can pass through. The room is in semi-darkness, it smells of hookah smoke. At the entrance, they immediately tell the rules: the main door opens 2 times (for entry and exit), you can not smoke anything except a hookah, you can not turn on a flashlight. For those who like light, there is a veranda in the courtyard. There is a long table in the center, and tables for two on the sides. It's cozy enough.
The staff is polite. The waiter who served me, well done.
I ordered: an appetizer with salmon, beef cheeks, APA craft beer, a cocktail of memory permanence, I took a chocolate sausage dessert with me.
To be honest, I did not appreciate the snack, it seems to taste nothing, but it is inconvenient and unclear how to eat it: salmon, lettuce, rather coarsely chopped tomatoes and other ingredients are on the crispy cakes. It is inconvenient to fold, because everything falls out, too, to cut, because the cake is quite hard. The cheeks, on the contrary, turned out to be beautiful: the soft meat goes well with the sauce and side dish. I liked the beer from the Sozhski Beer brewery, although it was a little empty, but it was good overall. The cocktail is not bad either. I've already tried dessert outside the establishment. It's quite tasty.
In summary, I am sure that this place is one of the few in Gomel with an interesting concept and an unusual menu. Definitely worth a visit at least once as an interesting experiment.
The total check came out at 91 BYN. Here, in my opinion, it did not turn out "everything as he likes". Given the considerable cost of the dishes, 1 ruble per container could not be added, or sewn into the cost of food somewhere. It looks petty. Unfortunately, the photos turned out to be so-so. There are no colors in the red light.

Вкусные настойки, дымный кальян. Обслуживание хорошее. По алкоголю, как мне кажется, дороговато для Гомеля, но если попить чайку и покурить отличный кальян - норм. Просто так не попасть, закрыты входные двери, надо постучаться и какой то пароль назвать. С нами были местные они знали, что говорить. При входе комплимент от заведения наливают самодельную настойку каждому гостю. В целом атмосферно и интересно. Рекомендую. Обнял!

Очень атмосферное место! Антураж заведения выдержан в деталях. Таинственно, интимно, самобытно. Меню хорошее, напитки и еда достойного уровня. Для Гомеля - очень интересное заведение! Единственное неудобство - задымленность от кальянов.

Лучше место для свидания с офигенной атмосферой (приглушённый свет и негромкая музыка). Отмечали здесь годовщину свадьбы. Есть кальян, крафтовые вина. По кухне есть неоднозначные блюда, но посоветовавшись с официантом можно из избежать.

However, for me personally, the advantages end there. Absolutely all the staff is sullen and not friendly. Perhaps this is the style of the institution, but you should not overdo it. Still, I would like to see a friendly and smiling waitress who attentively listens to the order and brings what was ordered. Prices.. Well, it seems to me with an inflection, in particular with regard to their own tinctures. As if they should be cheaper than drinks of famous brands. But excuse me 7 rubles for 40 grams of tincture, which I suspect is prepared by mixing vodka with jam here and now.. Well, guys.. Pl food is not bad and not good, average. But again, in my opinion, the cost is also overstated. In general, there are clearly 5 for originality, but 2 for everything else. I think an average of 3 points is an adequate assessment, there is room for improvement.

We booked a table on the veranda in order to have dinner.We arrived at 20:00, we were seated at a coffee table. When booking, the administrator did not specify that it would be a coffee table. It is not possible to eat at such a table, because the knees are higher than the table itself. They repeatedly asked me to transfer them to the next empty table. To which they replied that it was booked. We left after 22:00, the next table remained empty. We went home without eating, just smoked a hookah.
