The lobby is beautiful and bright.
It's nice to be in the hall. But don't take a seat near the stage. Two reasons. 1) either you will look at the back of your head, 2) or the speakers / subwoofers will be right in front of you)))) in short, the visibility is so-so. the most optimal places are the stalls, for those who need to see everything)))) there the rows stand like a ladder, the heads sitting in front do not interfere with viewing.

A new theater, but how uncomfortable it is! If you are in the stalls in even places, you will watch the whole performance with the back of someone's head, and on the balcony you will look over the railing. The price tag also clearly does not match the convenience.

I really liked the newly built theater. There is Parking, elevators, San. nodes on each floor. There is a VIP buffet on the 1st floor, as well as buffets on each floor.

I was at the play "Sultan Beybars" on May 22. A unique production, music, costumes, artists - just a talent! But why wasn't there a performance in GATOB? The new building left sad impressions. It was raining, they didn't let into the building for a little over an hour, they were waiting for the inspectors. Then they took pity, after calls and outrages. The girls in white are gorgeous, helpful, but they don't give out complete information about how to get into the hall, where the programs are. The rows stand strangely. Those on the odd rows are lucky, they can clearly see, on the odd ones - how lucky they are. Acoustics, in my opinion, are not very good, the sound is somehow muffled. When the narrator's voice - it is not clear what he is talking about. In general, for a long time there have been screens on the walls in theaters, where the text is in three languages. It wouldn't hurt here. Well, the location of the building itself. It is very inconvenient to get there, there is a minimum of information, and in the rain and darkness it is impossible to figure it out at all. Many did not wait for their transport. This theater is not on the maps of the city, access to the entrance is difficult. That's how it is....

It is wonderful that finally new Theaters began to be built in Almaty, and not only the shopping center) Almaty theater exceeded expectations with its technical equipment, not to mention the modern stylish and fashionable interior, everything is tasteful, in bright colors. We were at the musical Julia, a modern production, all 3 levels of the stage were involved, a very interesting action. During the intermission, we visited a nice restaurant located immediately on the 2nd floors of the theater, serving proseco and excellent fresh snacks)

The New Almaty Theater. It's a beautiful building, but there are problems with a large crowd of people. The architecture is not thought out, one third of the stage is not visible in the hall from the extreme seats. The wardrobe is very small, to get new clothes after the performance you need to stand in a half-hour queue. Toilets are also a problem. There are even queues at the men's toilets during the intermission. There are only two of them (male), each with two seats. This is unacceptable for the theater. The architect seems to have done poorly in school.
