A great hotel for a family holiday! We spent 12 days with my husband and 3 children. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail both in the room and in the courtyard and in the kitchen, where you can cook your own food at any time. You can also order a delicious breakfast👍 The playground and trampoline are also present, which is great + for children! The nearest beach is 250 meters away, but it's better to go a little to the right to a more well-maintained beach, you can even watch a movie there in the evening! The market and all the necessary shops are nearby - 2-3 minutes to go down) I highly recommend Amra! Many people come again. The hostess Elena does everything possible and impossible for the guests😍💪👍

The hotel is super! It was the first time I had such a comfortable vacation with my family in the private sector. Everything described on Amra's website is true. Prices don't bite. This year Adler-New Athos- Sukhumi-Adler traveled and "Amra" takes the first place by a margin. The rooms are comfortable, there is everything you need. Everything in the hotel is thought out and aimed at vacationers. There is a well with the purest water on site, although you can use tap water, defend it and use it for its intended purpose. Although once in a cafe I saw locals drinking water straight from the tap. If you don't want to eat in the cafe, there is a great comfortable shared kitchen with a large set of dishes, there is enough for everyone. Forgot to buy food for breakfast in the evening, then there is a general chat in Whatsapp where the menu for tomorrow morning is published every day, and every day the dishes change. Everything is very tasty. You can eat in the rooms, there is a table and chairs, but in addition to this, each room has a table with chairs on the veranda. The hotel has a barbecue, a horizontal bar, uneven bars, a treadmill, table tennis, a sauna, halls for yoga or similar exercises, tables for lunch/dinner under a canopy, a roof with a picturesque view... yes, everything is there) The hostess Elena is very sociable, like her mother Galina Frolovna, who also helps vacationers if they have questions, a kind-hearted woman. And they have the right staff, my respect. Well done, all well done. It's close to the sea. Shops, market. Prices are lower than towards the city. Of the cons. The nearest beaches are wild, there are not even changing rooms, but towards the city and they appear, other benefits appear. We were relaxing on the nearest beach and everything was fine with us. There are few people on the beaches and it is very comfortable. A big plus when compared with the anthills of Anapa, Sochi or Adler (brrrr-r-r-). Another disadvantage is transportation. There are no city buses as we used to, there are only taxis or on foot. This is if you need to go to the center of New Athos or walk to the local attractions, of which there are a lot in the area. And then, for some, this is not even a minus. In short, I recommend the hotel! I met people at the hotel who have been vacationing there with their families for several years in a row, and this says a lot.

A very kind hostess with her relatives!You can book trips to the mountains, order breakfast, the guest house is located close to the sea! We spent ten days here in September and were very satisfied! The hotel has everything you need, the rooms are clean, and you can order breakfast if you wish. There is a sauna and a barbecue, you can rent a sap. Very beautiful panoramic view on the top floor

Amra, this is the best place to relax. Starting with the hostess Lenochka and the workers, it's just super! The big plus of this hotel is the people. Elena is a wonderful Hostess of the guest house, attentive and economical. Its own territory, delicious water from the well, wonderful views from the roof of the hotel, a fully equipped kitchen. The sea is close, all the sights of New Athos too. I usually judge a hotel by my feelings, whether I'm sorry to leave this place. It is definitely a pity and I want to come back and I will miss you!

The hostess and her mother are very pleasant, friendly women🥰🙏Everything is very organized. There is a chat where the hostess Elena offers vacationers entertainment, breakfast. In my opinion, this is very convenient! There are markets nearby, many shops, a pharmacy. A guest house with a well-maintained territory, which has Parking, a garden, a place to relax under a canopy, a well with the purest water. It is located on a hill with a beautiful view of the sea and mountains. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and cozy. There is a shared kitchen, spacious, with necessary utensils and appliances. Living in "Amr" as one big family! The hospitable hostess Elena bakes amazing pies, prepares a variety of breakfasts and provides guests with a top-level rest. Thank her very much!

We are thrilled! I agree with everyone with all the positive reviews. And I want to answer Dmitry. We rested in room 1 on the second floor. We didn't hear music from the room, and the smells didn't bother us. Apparently it's all about the beds, but in Turkey there are all kinds of overlays in the season. There are a lot of hotels around for 5-6 thousand rubles per night. Maybe you should go there?.And you also came to another country, and southern, temperamental people live there. And yes, they speak a different language. We were accepted as relatives (we are from Rostov). In the kitchen, they tried to treat, coffee, fruits, drinks. They didn't feel any embarrassment. Advice to you: choose your vacation spot more carefully, do not save money. and you will like everything. And a low bow to the hosts for their hospitality!!! We will definitely come to you more than once

We had a rest in June 2022. The location of the guest house is very convenient, everything is nearby. Within walking distance to various canteens, there is a cashless store nearby. The sea is not far from about 10 min walk. The son of the hostess took me to the farel farm, I really liked it.

Friendly and very kind hostess, spacious room, bathroom, refrigerator, air conditioning, WiFi. The kitchen is in common use. It's not far to the sea, everything is nearby - caves and the beginning of the route to the fortress, a waterfall and an abandoned railway station, it's not far to the sea. Maybe someone would like to be closer to the sea, but there is always movement, people, noise and fuss, and Amra is away from the hustle and bustle and from the passing roads - for me this is a bigger plus than the proximity of the embankment. I am 100% satisfied with my vacation

I had a rest in December 2021. The hotel is very nice. The rooms are fully equipped with everything you need. Linen is changed every five days. There is a kitchen, if desired, you can cook food. The location is quite convenient, opposite the railway station in New Athos. The beach is 200-300 meters away. There is a market nearby, there is a parking lot. I really liked the flat roof where you can sunbathe, just relax. The view from the veranda to the sea, the monastery, the mountains is magnificent.

We had a rest in September 2021. It was not easy to find a room in New Athos, but we were lucky, we stayed in Amr. The excellent location of the hotel, all the sights, cafes, shops are all within walking distance. The beach is a 7-minute walk away. The rooms are clean, cozy, with a refrigerator, air conditioning, TV, Internet, etc. There is a dining room where everyone could cook their own food.. A washing machine and an iron with ironing board are at guests' disposal. A very hospitable and decent hostess. I recommend this guest house to all my friends and acquaintances.

Very good service. Hostess Elena is a real Hostess, she takes care that no small thing spoils the rest of the guests. Everything is thought out in the house: several towels per person, separate table and chairs with each room, clothes dryer, refrigerator, kettle, glasses. The beds are comfortable. There is a separate kitchen and even a children's room, a garden, comfortable places under an awning in the yard, blankets, places for sunbathing on the roof. Everything is perfectly clean. The application has pleasant sunsets, the sea is at hand, the railway station, market, shops are even closer. There is ample parking for cars on site. The hostess agreed to take us in for one day, although we understand that it is unprofitable. All this strongly distinguishes this guest house from others in Abkhazia (we travel around the country, we can compare). If they had known it was so cool here, they would have stayed longer. I would like to wish that the plan is not reduced, this will provide you with tourists all year round.

Very comfortable, mentally, 5 minutes from the sea, a playground for children, on the roof and in a separate room you can conduct group yoga classes or any other activity, a shared kitchen (newly renovated), Parking and security. A sports corner with uneven bars, a Swedish wall and a horizontal bar. There is a place with a hammock, a garden.

So, I will try to describe as impartially and honestly as possible the rest that awaits tourists when visiting New Athos and the Amra Guest House itself, maybe it will be useful to someone)
We booked a room for 11 nights, the price is 2300 for two per day with breakfast, the reviews are great) Before that, we had a rest in Gagra, traveled all over Abkhazia - we received a lot of positive emotions, including in New Athos.
AMRA. check-in by car is very, critically inconvenient and bad, you don't want to go somewhere for a while, There is your own Parking. Breakfast. Upon arrival, the hostess immediately warned that she was not ready to cook breakfast and was ready to recalculate the cost by 150 rubles / person per day... beginning. Separately, for an additional fee, breakfast is at 9-00, which is very inconvenient, because at this time you already need to go to the sea. Morning yoga on the roof is very advertised - it is paid, 250 rubles / person))) The kitchen is in a closed basement, without a hood, it is impossible to go in and cook with such residual odors. The territory is very well maintained, but there are always a lot of dogs. The rooms are simple, comfortable, and spacious. Now why did we leave Abkhazia for Russia after the first day. So, the outskirts of New Athos: packs of stray dogs, my wife is very afraid of them, there is nowhere to eat from the word at all, the only "cafe" behind the station is a dilapidated building with cosmic prices, salad 200-300, the second from 400!!! I don't want to try, there are NO shops, stalls like in the 90s with a monotonous assortment, a market with some cosmic prices. The beach is very gloomy, gray breakwaters go out to sea, destroyed and abandoned buildings are behind us, dogs and locals of some not very decent kind roam... In general, Abkhazia, and most importantly the Abkhazians and the attitude towards tourists were very disappointed, there is absolutely nothing to do there, if you stop to live in Abkhazia, then only in Gagra, prices for everything are like in Sochi, but the only plus is fewer people and the sea is cleaner... So think carefully before visiting Abkhazia, do you need it??? We left for Lazarevskoye after the first night, to a hotel with a swimming pool and full infrastructure, the price was paid less than in AMR ... amazing. And yet - it is really dangerous in Abkhazia and they steal everywhere, the protection of the territory from 20.00 to 8.00 is not just like that, and even the hostess warned - it is dangerous to leave the car, they can easily rob... My conclusion is to go to Abkhazia only by a one-day trip from Sochi to see the sights: Lake Ritsa, and the caves of New Athos and back soon))) Well, or at least Gagra, at least you can eat there, take a walk, go to the store)
