A colorful place with national cuisine and local peculiarities) Everything is very simple, charming at home and, of course, delicious and satisfying. The word service sounds outlandish here) The girls who work here are very nice, smiling and friendly. Prices are a fairy tale (at least they were in 2023). The place itself is heavenly, with gazebos over the river, a garden with persimmons and a pleasant landscaped area.
When we come to Abkhazia, we definitely visit the Persimmon Garden. The road for the car will go, it's a long way on foot.

Our favorite place! We have been coming to our beloved Persimmon for many years! There was a failure in the kitchen the last couple of years, but now everything has changed. The cuisine is simply incredible (special thanks to the cook and the manager), all the dishes are cooked delicious and with love! We celebrated birthdays there and just came for lunch and dinner! Thank you very much! We recommend you to visit!

It's not easy to get here on foot.

Shady trees and a nearby stream save you from the heat. And the local cuisine does not give you a chance to stay hungry.

Definitely worth a visit to anyone who is by car.
No coastal cafe can be compared.
Greenery, coolness, sound/view of murmuring water (small river).
The kitchen is 5 out of 5. The price tag is similar.
The choice of drinks is limited: feijoa juice, Sukhumi beer, its own red wine and brut champagne of all 1 kind. Plus soda in the glass.
Carefully:
- a couple of weeks ago there was a "flood" that washed out the roads. There is a section of sharp stones (20 meters) to drive carefully
- a bridge over the river "God forbid"))), welded from metal by local man-made "kulibins". Jeeps are passing, and so is our Camry....but the sediment of the experience is present))))

We visited this cafe the other day. It did not make a special impression, the place is forgotten, of course, the cuisine tastes average, there is something to compare in Abkhazia, well, as they say, there are no comrades in taste and color. From myself, I want to say that the prices on the menu differ in some places from what they will calculate for you as a result. Maybe because the new tenants are working for the 4th day, according to them. We ordered trout, it's just fried in a frying pan, not grilled, besides, as a result, a small fish by weight for some reason turned out to be half a kilo, I think with the weight it's not possible to check it everywhere.

For the second year in a row, we eat here with great pleasure, a wonderful place. Not once in a dozen dinners have we regretted that we stopped by, everything is delicious and quite inexpensive. Well, the atmosphere itself with gazebos over a noisy stream is worth a lot. Of the disadvantages, except that you can only get there by car. By the way, the locals call this kid "Persimmon Garden" or simply "persimmon garden", almost everyone knows her. I boldly recommend you to visit.

This place was always the first place we went to when we came to Abkhazia with my husband and children. We didn't even go home-we ran hungry here, confident that they would feed us tasty and satisfying. What happened today just shocked us, honestly, I just wanted to cry, it's so insulting. It's like something native has been torn away from us. Achapa (phali) turned out to be incredibly salty, fried cheese and ailaj were brought cold, but not cold, they were also cooked, the beans are cold and tasteless. The child was given a chicken chop with potatoes, it turns out that the chop meant a boiled piece of chicken to hold in a frying pan for 30 seconds. Fried smoked meat is the same. After a complete series of fiascos, I could no longer be there, my husband went to take khachapuri with him. It turned out to be a baked mixture of bitter cheese with sour dough, a raw mixture of this here, completely inedible. I never, ever want to hear about this place again in my life, this is the disappointment of the year for us.

A great cafe with national cuisine! He was recommended to us by a local taxi driver (thanks to him!) Then we started reading reviews and did not regret coming here. You won't find this place just like that. It is not along the road, the place is quiet and secluded in the forest, next to the river, the space is complete. The table was full of food: hominy, beans, cherry plum sauce, meat in Abkhazian, Khinkali, boats, homemade wine, lemonade, eggplant rolls... There were 4 of us. They gave away 2,450. Barely crawled out from behind the table! We were there on June 7, 2023. And yes, I almost forgot, special thanks to the super positive, cheerful waitress!!! He will tell you everything, describe it, and advise you. It's a pity they forgot to ask for the name. Who will be, a separate hello to her, you will understand exactly who I described when you start communicating.

The food is either spicy or tasteless!
Trout tastes like mud, meat and vegetables (mostly pepper) in a pot are tasteless, in a lot of oil! Dumplings are half-empty and tasteless - there is no butter or sour cream for them, the filling just pours out! The egg boat was with some very salty and bitter cheese! It took a very long time to prepare everything, despite the fact that we were alone. Dumplings were cooked for 40 minutes! Fried potatoes - a whole hour! As a result, it was given when we were already leaving - just in a bag in a pile of oil! I understand 10 percent for the service, but you can somehow try to make these 10% justified, and not just throw up your hands and say - I'm not cooking! And also an older man - apparently one of the employees, who was already pretty drunk, went drinking beer and all the time boring us with a creepy look! It's not very pleasant to eat under such supervision! I do not recommend tourists to eat here at all.

It's a cool mysterious place. Prices are like everywhere from Gagra to Mount Athos :) Maybe a little lower, 1800 for a family of 4 people (children 4 and 7) - there is an emergency to compare, we traveled all from ochamchira to Gagra + cafes in the mountains. Everything is DELICIOUS!!! Persimmon garden around, shade, stream. If you are by car, then be sure to come here, do not go into the cities!!!

The most beloved girl in Gagra. We take all our guests and friends to this place. Everyone likes it very much. We always take eggplant rolls and shish kebab (even in a frying pan it is very decent). The tomato sauce for the barbecue is very tasty. I also like the boat and bottled lemonade. The trout was not impressed. We don't like smoked meat, so I can't appreciate it. Lobio is very sharp, but my husband likes it. One of the disadvantages is that they can be calculated incorrectly (arithmetic errors). On the plus side, the service is very friendly

We waited a long time, although there were four tables full of people.The waitress is alone, khachapuri was brought dry, some kind of liquid without nuts was brought to the place of the nut paste... hominy should be cut with a knife.... We were waiting for trout... which was probably forgotten on the grill... they eventually brought a dry one.... Complete disappointment

To be honest, I can't be completely objective. We were so warmly welcomed as dear guests that the food no longer mattered))). But still, what I love, I got here). This is a magnificent khachapur and red- homemade wine. That was the end of it, because it's already 5 stars). But there were also eggplant rolls, hominy, cheese and fried trout. I would also like to mention an amazing place, next to a mountain river. I definitely recommend this place!

We are locals from Sochi. My husband was born and raised in Gagra, so we know firsthand what the Abkhazian cuisine should be. More than a year ago, we discovered this place, a beautiful picturesque old persimmon garden with a small river. Since we visit Gagra very often, we constantly stop by to eat, invite our friends. The last time we visited apatkha was at the end of May. And what was our surprise When we arrived yesterday and said that we were upset to say nothing.
In order:
Firstly, the dishes that we ordered turned out to be very tasteless, we began to find out why there was such a difference, it turned out that our beloved female chefs no longer work here, two guys came to replace them, who cooked these dishes for us. Feijoa compote is diluted with water, I think it's just a shame!!! We always ordered several huge fragrant loaves with us, the magical hands of the female chefs made them incredible. Yesterday they brought us a small half-dried flatbread. In this cafe we already have our favorite dishes that we always order and recommend to our friends. Yesterday we ordered them too, it was tasteless and there was no limit to our disappointment.
Secondly: the waitress who came up to us was not kind and irritable. There was swearing in the kitchen, the cooks were arguing with her. Is it possible to compare her with our beloved Irochka, always so joyful and smiling, after communicating with her, the mood was always on top. He will tell you everything, recommend dishes and charge you with positivity for the whole day. When we left, she always accompanied us with kind words. We were so upset when we were told that she no longer works here. The dishes were waiting for the first time! for a long time, they asked for the bill and without waiting for it, they got up from the table and went directly to the waitress, only after that they gave us the bill.
In general, after the summer season, the apache has deteriorated very much, the dishes have become tasteless and there is no more everything for which we came to this place. There is only magnificent nature left, but there is already enough of it in Abkhazia for this

A hospitable place. The location is excellent: among the trees, on the bank of a mountain river. The air is the freshest! Everything we tried – homemade cheese, wine and compote, wild quail, meat solyanka in Abkhazian and other dishes - is very tasty. The locals do not call this place "Apatkha Spring", but "Khurmovka" :)
