By the way, the mentioned famous urban axis and all 12 highways converging to the Star Square (this is the historical name, the official one is Charles de Gaulle Square) can be better seen and appreciated by climbing to the top of the Arch. A very worthy place to visit. Even in the tourist season, after 10 a.m., you can effortlessly quickly buy a ticket to the observation deck and enjoy the beautiful panoramas that open up a view of Paris from above.

The famous Arc de Triomphe is one of the symbols of Paris. It is installed on Charles de Gaulle Square at the very beginning of the Champs-Elysees. It was manufactured by order of Napoleon in honor of his victories from 1806 to 1836. The size of the arch is impressive and, understanding its history, you feel like a part of this history.
