Nature that inspires
Georgia is an incredibly beautiful country, especially striking with its mountainous landscapes. One of the most impressive places is the Cross Site on the Georgian Military Road and the Peoples' Friendship Arch. From the height, you can enjoy a stunning view of the mountains, especially in autumn: yellow foliage, bright water below — everything is like in a picturesque postcard.
We were in October, and it was cool and drizzling. There is no service as such, there is nowhere to warm up or drink hot tea. It's good that everything was organized with transport: buses, bus stops — without delays. In general, the place is worth a visit for the sake of beauty, which remains in the memory for a long time.

I definitely recommend you to visit! A wonderful, bright, mosaic arch telling about the friendship of the peoples of Russia and Georgia. A truly stunning view opens from the observation deck! But the service in the morning leaves much to be desired... Although there is a public toilet, worth 1lari (extremely fragrant...) I'll start with the fact that we arrived at the pass at about 9 Moscow time, at 10 local time, we planned to have a snack in a cafe with a beautiful view, but in Georgia private shops do not open until 12, therefore, after admiring the expanses and feeding the remnants of a snack to a huge flock (at least 20) of exceptionally good-natured, but extremely persistent dogs We moved on.

An excellent, iconic bridge for stopping and a photo is a symbol of friendship of peoples. We organized a collection of money for any reason (parking, toilet...) some retail outlets, equipment rental. Cafe right in the arch, photos for money. It's a little annoying and I think that the fees don't help the arch in any way...

We were there in January 2024. The place is amazing, the roof is blown away by the beauty. Mountains, powerful energy, the monument itself, which offers an indescribable view of the mountain gorge. A lot of people from all over the World- Filipinos were tumbling like children in the snow with joy - they saw him for the first time, all the people were happy, friendly, ask to take a picture- no problem....
And enough about parking for 1 GEL and a paid toilet....It's a shame to read...as if this is the main impression that people have received here...
