We signed up for a master class on 21.12 via the website, the price was 70p, later the administrator contacted and confirmed my entry.
Upon arrival, it turned out that prices have increased since the beginning of December, and now this service costs 75p.
However, in three weeks, no one has changed the cost of all types of services on the site, the old price was still indicated there (during our conversation on 12/21/2024) - 70p.
The administrator says: on the day of booking, the second administrator contacted you and told you the wrong information.
However, to our quote that - According to the law "on consumer rights protection", the price is mandatory information about the product; it must be readable, reliable and timely.
If one price is indicated on the product, but it turns out to be different when calculated at the checkout, the consumer has the right to demand that the seller sell the product at the price indicated on the price tag; the administrator replied: that he doesn't know anything - the price has changed, well, the site is old, so what? Now we will solve the issue somehow.
A minute later, she asked if we would pay for the master class for the new price of 75p.
To my answer, what should I decide if, according to the law, you are required to sell at the price indicated on the website, the administrator objected that they forgot to change the prices on the website.
We once again pointed out to her the law "On Consumer Rights Protection", asking if the administrator had studied it, to which we received a sharp comment "Have you studied it yourself?".
The dialogue reached an impasse, we began to wait for the second administrator, who did not work that day, but came to us to resolve the issue, for which we thank her very much. Upon arrival, the second girl calmly and without unnecessary arguments said that it was a mistake on their part, and we need to pay the price that was originally when ordering the service - that is, 70p.
As a result, we spent about half an hour trying to explain the BASIC information from the most frequently affected law in the service sector to an EMPLOYEE of this field, who also sarcastically responded and refused to comply with this law. I consider the behavior of this employee unacceptable. I advise the management to conduct staff training on certain laws.
Despite this, we really enjoyed the master class itself, and we have only positive memories of it.
