The only large store in Abkhazia. While vacationing in Gagra, we often came here. A large selection of products that we don't have (delicious). Locally produced products are all fresh and at reasonable prices. The staff seems to be friendly, but there don't seem to be enough of them for such a large store.

In October 2022, I visited this store several times, liked the assortment, the prices of the goods, there were no problems with the staff.
Today, 09/21/2023, I arrived in Gagra and decided to visit this store again, but the guards began to agitate me like dogs, since I did not want to put my bag with documents and personal belongings in their storage room, they demanded almost threatened, all this happened in the presence of my n/a son, as a result of a senseless attempts to explain something to the cattle were unsuccessful, they stupidly stood their ground, arguing that it was this year that they began to steal often... Moreover, in their demands they referred to the director's order, and at the entrance to the shopping center there is an announcement asking them to put their belongings in a drawer for storing personal belongings. In general, my advice is: if you don't want to spoil your mood, then in no case go to the Assorted. If necessary, there is an audio recording with "polite" redneck guards. In general, I had to leave the Assorted with my son, without getting into it, because after such a meeting it is forever annoying to appear in such places.
Until the staff learns (attention of the director of the Assorted!!!) The buyers will have a one-point rating!

There is the most decent selection of products in the whole of Gagra. You can try to find meat and fruits on the market, some will be cheaper, the rest is here. The first floor - confectionery, alcohol, milk, vegetables, fruits, the second floor - cereals / pasta, spices, canned food (including Turkish), household chemicals, dishes and other small things for the house.
From the local only wine-beer was found, the rest is all imported (Russia, Turkey). Prices are like in Russia, something is more expensive. Except that cereals by weight and packaged spices are more expensive here.
In general, if you need to buy food, it is better here than at stalls in the city, where there is no choice at all and it is more expensive.
"Assorted" + the market practically removes the issue of buying products. I would also like to buy normal fish and meat.
Female workers as a selection: boorish. They shift it onto each other, if there is a misunderstanding with customers, they are outraged, they will help to find something - they will rather say that this is not there (we would have been fired in stores a long time ago). They troll customers, have fun as much as they can.
In general, most of the Abkhazians who met are with criminal thinking, they do not think about the future, they try to deceive in any way, we will leave anyway, not realizing that we would be treated better, tourists would bring more money. Business in Abkhaz🤦🏻♀️
