05 06 2024 celebrated the wedding evening at the Astoria restaurant.
Approximately 05/25/2024 we arrived to choose a place, we were met by a friendly girl, Evgenia, who told us everything and showed us and offered the best options for our holiday. I explained everything about the payment. We liked everything very much. After that, she told us that another manager would deal with us, who would contact us to coordinate the menu. 3 days have passed, and no one has contacted us, we called ourselves. They told you they would call you back, a day passed and no one called back. A day later, we called again, they told us they would call you back, and after 5 minutes, manager Farid finally called back, we expressed our dissatisfaction with him, to which he reacted violently, shoving all the blame on manager Evgenia, who allegedly had to send us the menu and coordinate. As a result of the conversation, he said that he would hold a preventive conversation with her, but refused to send the menu because we did not make an advance payment. The next day we made an advance payment, and after calling him again, he sent us the menu on May 29. We asked him to send us some standard menu options for such events in advance. As a result, on May 30, at 20.30, after another call, he sent us some kind of garbage with only tortillas. In our opinion, absolutely fuck off.
On May 31, we ourselves already went to the restaurant to make the menu, as we realized that it was impossible to solve the issues remotely with him. We went into the restaurant, we were met by a security guard, we asked our manager and Farid came out, to our question, where is Yevgenia, he said that after our conversation on the phone, where we complained that they could not even send us a menu, he fired her, since he is the head of banquets here, and she his subordinate.
As a result, he and I spent two hours compiling the menu, but we never made it to the end. He also deceived us with the payment, or rather with the cost, in the sense that he said, since you take a room for 20 people, then you should make a check for 20 hours at 170 rubles for each, despite the fact that you will be 13 people, it was to some extent a shock for us. We were outraged because there had never been such a conversation before.
Well, OK, we didn't have much options to refuse, because it's just not possible to find another place in 3-4 days, and the guests have already been invited. But at the time of the meeting with Farid, I was even ready for this option, because everything did not suit us, both the kitchen and his approach to our event, there was a complete feeling that we were greatly interfering with him and straining him. As a result, we agreed on something with him in 2 hours, but not everything, because he had some other important things to do. We asked to make a buffet for the guests at the entrance, to make a layout on the tables with the names of the guests, but Farid said that this was impossible. Because they are not an organizational service and he is not going to control it.
On June 4, in the evening, we arrived at the restaurant to leave alcohol and equipment for tomorrow's event and met Evgenia, we were very surprised because Farid said that she was fired. She was also in shock, but she kindly helped us. She said that she would organize both a buffet and a layout of cards with the names of the guests.
We left happy, because everything was clear and understandable with her.
On June 5, at 12 o'clock, Evgenia called and said that everything was ready, that by 16.00 she could arrive and everything would be ready. She organized the buffet and selected the dishes herself.
Arriving at the restaurant at 16.00, we were pleased with the organization on the part of Evgenia, by the way, I saw Farid out of the corner of my eye all evening, he just ran past once without even saying hello. Only at the end did he arrange a boorish meeting with an interrogation about what we didn't like. There are also a lot of questions about the menu that we made, because in fact the table was empty, and if Evgenia had made the menu, I think such a question would not have arisen.
Thank you very much to Evgenia's manager for accompanying our entire evening and solving all the questions about the organization that arose during the event! She made our holiday as comfortable as possible!!!
The kitchen - pilaf was not very good, there was a lot of rice and almost no meat, while the meat was not clear, as if pork or chicken, although veal was ordered. The pilaf turned out to be quite tasteless. The cuts of meat, the tongue of the basturm seemed to be slightly spoiled, there was a smell as if it was not fresher. The salads are good - caesar, roast beef, hot eggplant.
I really liked the waiters' service, they did everything very politely and diligently.
In general, all the staff except security and Farid were very polite and pleasant.

We had lunch with the children at this restaurant. It is a very beautiful and spacious room. There are several halls in different styles. I liked the presentation of the children's menu - a large, beautiful coloring book. The portions from the children's menu are quite large, the food is delicious. I didn't have much time to sit, as we went to have a snack before checking into the hotel, so we ordered something to cook quickly - a barbecue with a side dish. The meat is tender and very tasty, the service is excellent, the staff is friendly and pleasant.

On a huge territory there are places for recreation, a playground, guest houses with barbecue grills, a photo zone on the shore, boat rental. The menu is good. Since the restaurant is Azerbaijani, you can try the specialties. The service is excellent, polite, clear without intrusiveness. The interior is also impressive and leaves positive emotions for a long time.

I'm just shocked by the service and cuisine of this restaurant!!!
Yesterday we walked with my husband and son nearby, decided to go in for a meal. It was on Sunday, at about 17.00. On an empty terrace, they found a place for us with a favor (all this time that we stayed there, empty sofas were and remained). The waiters did not approach us for a long time, when I already started calling at least someone, he showed up. I took a soup, lentil soup, my husband dolma and a flatbread similar to cheburek, my son took fries with nuggets from the Italian menu. My husband liked Cheburek, dolma was not tasty, bland.
But I started my soup, added all the seasonings that they serve to it, squeezed out a lemon, ate three spoons, and ...
I look in the soup - a HAIR!!! So black, I thought it seemed to me, but no!!! Hair, I also picked it up with a fork, to show my husband ... I called the waiter, to which he snatched the soup from me and muttered that he would replace it now. I asked him if he wanted to ask if I would like this soup??? I'm already silent about the fact that, at least I need to apologize!!!
Manager Farid (in my opinion, that's his name) came running, started telling me that this is such a seasoning))) I explained to him that I could distinguish the seasoning from the hair. Then he apologized, knowing in advance that there was a hair, but, you never know ... he brought a compliment dessert, in the form of a ball, sprinkled with a crumb of chocolate. Well, I wanted soup, but, okay, anything happens. I take a fork, push this ball through, it cracks in half, I spread the filling to see, and there is a green Midge!!! He's still running!!!
I call the waiter, he looked and said, so what's the big deal, he's alive!!! You never know where he got there, maybe they were carrying him from a flower or something!!! And that's the way it shows it to me. The manager came up to take a look, says he doesn't see anything. I then poked at the dessert and a midge ran out!!! Dissatisfied, he took the dessert and went! He brought some more dessert, as compensation, but I didn't even look at what was there. She refused and asked for the bill.
I've never seen such disgusting service anywhere!!! The waiters walk like zombies, no one smiles or says hello. The administrator is the same! The manager has no words at all!!! Such disrespect for visitors!!! We also thought to play a wedding for our daughter here!!!
It can be seen that the owners tried so hard, such a beautiful place, the restaurant itself is very beautiful, visually simple - Beauty!!!
But, the staff is disgusting!!! Especially these guys, the waiters, not only do they smell like sweat, but they also do their job with such a favor!!! Horror!!!
Dear founders!!! Just review your staff!!! Such a beautiful place and there is no hospitality, soul and comfort!!!

There are specialties and interesting dishes. The staff is neat and polite. The dishes are cooked for a long time and do not coincide with the announced time, they promise conditionally an hour of cooking, but as a result it may take two hours of waiting. A strange menu. You select it on an electronic tablet, and then you call the waiter so that he takes the order and writes it down for himself. And this is in the age of information technology. The room itself is stuffy, the air conditioners did not work. To summarize. For the price of the dishes, you want to get a much better service.

Two days ago, a children's birthday was celebrated in Astoria. Therefore, both children and adults were present in the company. I liked everything: the territory, the food, the service, the cozy calm atmosphere without excessively loud music that would interfere with the communication of the guests. I would like to say a special thank you to the waiter named Abbas. Thanks to him, we had the most pleasant impressions of the banquet. He quickly and promptly fulfilled all our requests and wishes, remaining friendly, tactful, and courteous throughout the evening. We believe that we were lucky with the waiter! Thanks also to other employees for the original presentation of pilaf with fire and the spectacular congratulations of the birthday girl with the removal of a cake with candles-fireworks. We had dinner with the family (mom, dad, son and daughter) twice on February 20th and 22nd, 2024. Excellent service, separate respect to the waiter Turan. on the 20th we tried soups. The soups are very tasty, you will not regret it, you have tested them yourself: dovga, duchbar, broccoli cream soup, lentil soup and vegetable chicken soup in Caucasian style. Beef tartare for 29.0 rubles is five points, carpaccio for 35.0 is also good, but it would be better if the meat was placed immediately on a plate without a layer of unknown white sauce (my son refused to eat because of the sauce, but pine nuts on carpaccio were very good). The Sicilian sea bass for 80.0 rubles was good as a sea bass, but everything around it on a large plate is some kind of symphony. The dolma for 26.0 rubles was eaten, but was not impressed. But the dry white wine MEYSARI Sadaf for 110.0 Belarusian rubles was pleasantly pleased with the color, taste, and serving. Iskander cognac for 9.0 rubles for 50.0 g. soft, nutritious, but oh-oh-very sweet, too much caramel (I do not recommend it). It was just super delicious. The pilaf was served by the chef with a light, i.e. with fire, very beautifully. And there is really a lot of it, 1000.0 kg! That's enough for four people! We took half of it with us to the hotel. We also took water, juices, sorbets, desserts and something from the children's menu. The check amounted to 370.76 rubles. Decently less than the first time. An expensive restaurant, but very cozy and very tasty. I recommend it, but remember, it's expensive there. But if you don't lean heavily on wine, water, desserts and sorbets, then nothing is wrong...

I didn't like the work of the hostess manager (blonde, tall). I'm attaching a photo. Almost the entire line of the first floor was FREE! They said there were no places. Only 3 tables are available in the smoking area.
We sat down there. Not a single table was occupied in an hour.
The manager's lies crossed out the desire to return. I do not advise you to come here, they will put you in a smoking corner, you will look at empty tables.
According to the menu. The scallops are delicious. Halibut is fresh without spices and salt.

The food is basically ordinary, there is no sophistication, just food. The tortillas were yesterday's.
However, out of pleasure, they brought fruit in the form of compliments.
The restaurant itself is very large and spacious.
The live music is very loud, many visitors moved to avoid sitting under the speakers.

I've been to this restaurant twice - at the very beginning of his work and recently. The place is beautiful and cozy. But I didn't like the first time, I didn't want to come back for 6 years. But the second time, I really liked it! The kitchen is excellent, the service is 10 out of 10. It was amazing that not only our waiter came up to ask if everything was okay, but even people passing by came up and asked if we were comfortable, if we liked everything. I recommend it!
