What a cool place. Modern space, very cool library with lots of nice books about design, photography, fashion, etc.

A beautiful, stylish building on Taksim Square. The modern building is reminiscent of the Zaryadye Concert Hall in Moscow. Beautiful spiral staircases, the stage and the auditorium are located in a huge ball, it looks unusual and interesting. The walls are made of wood for perfect acoustics. The cloakroom is located on the ground floor. There is a cafe upstairs. The chairs are comfortable and soft. Our choice fell on La Traviata, the magnificent scenery, costumes and voices ♥️ Were pleasantly surprised... 😊

An interesting place with such an incomprehensible navigation inside that it's just tin. There is a beautiful and photogenic library. I advise you to visit. I was only there for 30 minutes, but there is still a lot to see.

The old AKM was much more functional. A plan in which it is cold and difficult to find your way. There is no artists' cafeteria. The cafeteria is closed early on representation days. It has more of a bank atmosphere than an art center. It is managed with better than nothing.

It took a very long time to build it, and finally it was built and the new Ataturk Cultural Center opened in 2021 and in many ways far surpassed the old building.
There are a lot of things here:
1. Opera and Ballet Theatre (separate entrance).
2. Concert and theater halls
3. Small cinema (historical)
4. A library with books about art!!! (they are not allowed with small children)
5. Musical Instrument Museum (free of charge)
6. Art gallery on the top floor with changing exhibitions
7. Various studios and ateliers (drums, drama, dancing, etc.). Tickets are purchased on the center's website.
8. Design and bookstore
9. Coffee shops
Concerts, film screenings and various other events are also organized here in the open-air courtyard.
It's rarely quiet here, there's always something going on.
And, of course, the architecture of the building deserves special attention.
On the lower floors there is a multi-storey Parking (paid).
