Very cozy clean area! The rooms are partially renovated! Good bed linen and towels! Friendly staff! We were with our grandson. A great beach, sun beds are included in the price and there are many of them. A place for a relaxing holiday. Even a bad signal was not a disadvantage.

Good evening we lived in Aitara September 2024 marine corps , everything is at the highest level although I am a spoiled tourist , cleaning every day the towel was changed every 3 days but when asked to change the next day they changed without problems , we went to the main building to the dining room but there we were pleasantly surprised for 860 rubles buffet breakfast lunch dinner is quite varied and decent, it takes 5 minutes to get to the center of Sukhum. We often walked for 20 minutes and you are in the center, we have only positive impressions about this hotel, I recommend it to everyone!!!!

Good afternoon, everyone!
We had a rest in Aitara from June 10 to June 20, 2024. Economy class rooms were offered in the so-called third building, which actually turned out to be construction trailers, where everything inside was made according to the principle of “shit and sticks". Photos are attached.
Upon arrival, according to a neighbor, a cracked toilet was found, on which it was impossible to sit so as not to pinch your ass. After the scandal, the toilet was changed to an allegedly new one, but for some reason rust patches were visible on the rim. The toilet seat was fixed so that after a couple of days of use, the lid fell off.
During the stay in the room, 2 cockroaches were killed and some strange bug was found in the bed linen.
In the next room, one of our group's vacationers had a toilet bowl fall off. As they said, the mounting bolts are rusted. The bolts were purchased by the administration of the boarding house from the allocated funds. A local plumber demanded 2,000 rubles for screwing them in. Isn't it too much for fixing two bolts? It so happened that around this time in St. Petersburg, I called a plumber from the management company to unscrew and clean 2 coarse filters. In St. Petersburg, 500 rubles were officially paid for this.
There was furniture in the corridors of the “third building”, which was periodically brought into the rooms as needed upon arrival of guests. When the furniture was not needed, it stood in the hallway and yard cats and kittens rested on it.
Cleaning was done every day, but the staff could afford to start mopping the floors when the guests were in the room. You come out of the shower in a towel, and then they're moving around the room with a mop. And if people wanted to have sex in their hearts? There is no sense of tact at all.
The edge of the shower tray is not treated with sealant at all. There is a possibility that when taking a shower, water will get into the gap and flood the lower floor.
On the last or penultimate day, a puddle began to form on the floor. Judging by the location, freon was leaking either from the air conditioner or from the refrigerator. Remembering the epic with the toilet in the neighbor's “room”, they did not advertise the problem, so as not to be forced to pay for the repair of an antediluvian prehistoric air conditioner at the price of a new one.
Check out of the rooms at 10:00. While waiting for the transfer, we sat on a bench under a tree. I had to go to the communal toilet on the ground floor. The cranes are not fixed at all. They shake from touch. Sinks hang on snot with the risk of collapsing on the tile at any moment. It is not clear at all what the salaries of local plumbers are paid for.
From the positive. The beach is very close. The sun beds are free. The beach is being cleaned. When garbage is taken ashore after a storm, the wipers take it out very quickly.
There are 2 dining rooms on site (one of which is a buffet). 2 cafes with a fairly varied menu. A wide range of entertainment options. Animators are working. An instructor was engaged with teenage boys, showing self-defense techniques. There is a small bar on the beach where you can buy not only alcoholic beverages, but also ice cream and corn. Massage services are available. A sauna can be ordered.
They don't steal there. The smartphone, forgotten by a neighbor on the beach, was brought to the reception.
There is a convenience store where you can buy what you forgot to bring with you on a trip. As well as a small assortment of beach shoes and swimwear.
The rotovirus, which frightens St. Petersburg residents, was not detected during a trip to Abkhazia. You can safely drink water from drinking fountains.
There are several zones where wi-fi catches quite steadily and you can make a whatsapp call.
The boarding house is developing. There is another restaurant on the beach. New buildings are being built.
The overall impression of the trip is 3 with a minus.
Do I recommend it to my friends? Only for those who, financially and out of desperation, do not have the opportunity for other trips to the sea. In addition to the inconveniences with accommodation, until the airport was launched, it is very uncomfortable to get from St. Petersburg. 3 nights on a train in the heat is not something you wish on the enemy. By plane to Sochi, and then a transfer across the border is tough. And if the Abkhazians let them through with a whistle, then the Sochi border guards sometimes check cars for 4 hours from Russia. Meanwhile, passengers are sitting in a neutral zone in the heat, where it is not even possible to buy water. At some point, while waiting for the inspection of the minibus, the thought came to my mind that I was ready to give 500 rubles for a glass of ice cream right away.

lived in the first building. The room is very ordinary, two single beds with sagging old mattresses. Of course, this is not a rest, but a continuous headache, when turning over on the bed, the mattress bounced under you and it felt like you were lying upside down on the bed. The bathroom didn't look good either, it was very small, the bathtub looked like it had been stripped after a bombing. It is difficult to turn around in the bathroom. The cleaning of the room was absolutely no, the garbage was taken out every day, but the floors were washed disgustingly, smearing dust and dirt on the parquet. In the bathroom, the floor was wiped only in the center, and dirt flourished in the corners and behind the toilet and near the sink. The food in the dining room is so-so, everything is delicious, products are cheap (heart, liver, chicken wings)
Minced meat in cutlets and pancakes is not tasty, sausages are not tasty. Only the porridges were more or less edible. From salads in the vegetable season, there is always a salad of cabbage, carrots and beets. They haven't given a tomato in 10 days. Of the fruits, only apples. From baking rolls of yesterday's baking and some kind of pie with an incomprehensible taste.

Wonderful rest, delicious and varied food for every taste, the buffet is excellent, clean and beautiful dining room, waiters and cook work very well, new food every day. Nice rooms, lovely maids, especially on our Anaida floor!!! Clean linen and towels, clean floors, etc. She always tried to treat me to something, kind and friendly. As the mistress of her house, the Goddess of hospitality and Kindness!
A beautiful space with fountains and beautiful trees and peacocks, ducks. And I especially liked the Church and the service on Sunday. There is a spring with holy water there. I strongly advise you to come and drink it. And wonderful Father Alexander with Heavenly, deep and pure eyes. There are fragments of the relics of St. Seraphim and St. Matrona. They sing great there. It feels like angels. Apparently we were so lucky. The church is cozy and filled.
Beach. Clean and not crowded, considering the middle of July 2022. We rested for 13 nights. I advise everyone.
The budget is very inexpensive.
Umbrellas and sun beds for free, very close to the sea. I think this is a big plus. I would give a solid B to this hotel. (for me, it was a minus that the track is close and a little noisy, but these are my personal preferences).

Aitar is a wonderful place for family holidays. Rooms, territory, entertainment program for children in the evening, then for adults!!! The dining room - the food is delicious, there is plenty to choose from, the only minus is the people who crowd and are afraid to go without food) There's plenty of food for everyone! The staff is wonderful, the rooms are cleaned, the dining room is clean, the territory is also clean. And of course the beach is close to the sea, clean deck chairs. We really liked it, I recommend it.

For our purposes (sports training camps) the perfect combination. But the food is monotonous and some dishes are not tasty at all. The room stock of the boarding house has certainly worn out, broken cabinets, once fell on a child, after a complaint, no one came, did not attach it. We rested at the Aitar boarding house from July 26 to August 3, 2023. The staff is polite, we returned to the USSR, special thanks to the kitchen, there was a buffet 3 times a day, the food was very tasty, a variety of dishes, homemade, do not stay hungry, porridge for every taste for a healthy diet, a lot of vegetable salads, there were only apples from fruits, excellent pastries. The nature is fantastic, the sea is a 5-minute walk from the boarding house, a special underground passage, everything is just super, the room has a refrigerator, TV, air conditioning, saved from the heat. There is a kettle for common use in the common corridor, an ironing board, and a hair dryer, so everyone needs to take care of it in advance. Linen is changed, garbage bags are taken out every day, not Turkey, of course, the furniture is lame, but we did not pay attention to it, the main thing is the sea. We recommend it for a vacation, we really liked it. People are polite, good-natured, there are cafes, shops, and an ATM on the territory.

The boarding house is what you need, for pennies and families with children (read more than one). The food is satisfactory. There was no rotovirus. The sea is across the street. There is a construction site on the beach. The territory is a botanical garden. There are 2 cafes on site. A restaurant on the shore, 3 shops, not counting a nook with beach accessories, peacocks and hindoos roam around in a masterly way, peacocks fly up on the canopy above the main entrance, it's funny. Discos for children and adults according to the schedule. Mocha beach is nearby, for fans of paid sunbeds with umbrellas and a bar on the shore. The beach is small gray pebbles, sandy next to the Mocha. To Sukhum there is a minibus 5 - 30₽ and a 2-ka bus 15₽. A taxi from the station is 400-300rubles, we were heated by as much as 600rubles. And so you can take a trolleybus 10₽ to the market, and from it by a 5-k minibus to Aitar, this is without suitcases on the light.

I want to share my impressions about my vacation! (Rested 07.07-07/14/2024).
The road from Sukhum railway station to the boarding house takes about 15 minutes by taxi (taxi drivers meet at the train!) The cost, as agreed, is about 500 rubles.
Check-in is strictly at 12.00
Be prepared to pay 450 rubles in cash per person: 200 rubles tourist fee and 250 local medical insurance in case of serious injury or illness. The medical center in Aitara is free of charge.
We had a room in the second building on the third floor. Economy room without balcony. Two rooms! In the first room there is a refrigerator, two armchairs, a table, air conditioning. Very convenient: it's not blowing and it's cool! The second one has two beds, a wardrobe, two bedside tables, a TV. The beds have sockets. The bathroom is shared. There is a basin. A small clothes dryer.
Windows open, you need to try everything)
The bed is snow-white, on the fifth day a clean one was changed. Bath towels and face towels. There are no towels for feet and beach.
In the lobby on the floor there are lounge chairs, a kettle, an ironing board with an iron. There is no water cooler! Therefore, the kettle has to be taken to the room. By the way, there are two mugs in the room.
Daily cleaning!
We had a full board holiday. Buffet meals are served in the dining room. It's delicious and varied. We were pleasantly surprised by such variety and quality. There is a lot of food, it is constantly being brought. There is no children's menu for lunch and dinner. For breakfast there are two porridges, broth, cereals, milk, salads. For lunch, two soups, several side dishes, gravy, liver or stomachs, meatballs, cutlets, salads, greens. For dinner, it's about the same. Buns for breakfast and dinner. You can't describe everything - a lot of food!
The sea is across the road through the underpass. It takes 5-7 minutes from the room to the beach. Free sun beds, there are many of them
There are always free ones. There is a sapp (300 rubles. half an hour). Banana riding (500 rubles). Special thanks to Nikolai! He rides carefully and for a long time, swims in the open sea.
On the beach at 10 a.m. water aerobics. At 11 o'clock you can practice oriental dancing 200 rubles an hour, I recommend it!)
I want to describe the territory separately! It's a fairy tale! There are greenery, palm trees and many exotic plants all around. Peacocks are walking, Indian. The beauty is extraordinary. The territory is well maintained. Benches and recreation areas are everywhere.
There is a taxi at the checkpoint, you can get to the train station, arrange in the morning. There is also a transfer to Adler.
There is an Orthodox church in honor of St. George and a spring of holy water on the territory.

The territory is beautiful. This is where all the advantages end. The food is not tasty and the cheapest. I had no idea what buckwheat bread was before. Of the fruits, only apples were given and only at lunch. Meat dishes include finely chopped chicken, nasty cutlets with veins, chicken liver. Porridge on the water. In general, you should not take accommodation with food. It's a waste of money. The sea near Aitar was sometimes dirty, but more often clean. I don't know why that is.

The whole family went to Abkhazia and stayed in Aitara. The territory is large and beautiful. A variety of plants, and by the way, for fans there are signs with the names of these plants. Peacocks walk around the territory. The food in the dining room is canteen, but varied. It's cooked well. The staff did well. Responsive and friendly. The Church of St. George the Victorious in 1827 is located on the territory. We lived in a two-storey cottage, fresh repairs were made, new plumbing. There was a problem with the shower, but I hope they fixed it.

A Soviet-style boarding house from the 90s. The food is varied, meat dishes, chicken, liver, salads, casseroles, pancakes, rolls, compote and tea, only sliced apples from fruits. There are a lot of people in the season, queues for food, there are not enough cups, forks and plates. People gather around the canteen in droves, as if they hadn't eaten for a year!!! In general, hand on heart, this boarding house is for families with children or deep pensioners (for those who have nothing to compare..who has not been abroad in different countries, who is allowed by the budget once a year to go on vacation with the whole family to the sea). The rooms are cleaned normally, the bed linen is changed every three days, only a piece of strawberry soap is used for hygiene products. Excursions are sold on the territory, Aitar has his own minibus, as soon as the tour is typed, the tour will take place (you need to contact in advance, everything is sorted out). The territory is beautiful, fountains, peacocks, rabbits, birds. There is a temple of its own. In the evenings, they hold a disco, first for children, then for adults, it's quite fun! Wi-Fi does not work everywhere, only at the 1st building and on the street near it. There is also a massage, cosmetologist services and manicure/pedicure for an additional fee.the fee.

We moved into a tiny room and there is always a puddle of water in the bathroom. The administration refuses to change the number, referring to the fact that the manager has days off. We had a family vacation in Aitara in 2018. We rested in the cottage. I really liked it. The cottage has 2 floors, a room on the ground floor, a living room type, and a bedroom on the second. There are sleeping places both downstairs and upstairs. There is a balcony where you can sit in the evening. Cozy territory, which is fenced around the perimeter, entrance and entrance by passes. Buffet meals))), however, is very far from what they are used to in Turkey)). But, nevertheless, we were full. There is a sports ground on the territory, the kids were chasing a ball there. There is a disco in the evening. It's close to the sea. The only thing that bothered me was the eerie chirping of cicadas, there are countless of them there. It's a bit far from the center, you can't walk, we went to the embankment by minibus. We had a great rest. The room was cleaned, I can't remember how much quality, I think there were no complaints. And we were there only when we washed up from the sea and spent the night, mostly either on the beach or walking. There is a cafe on site where you can sit and chat. Perhaps there have been some other changes over the years.

It's not summer anymore, but the weather didn't disappoint...during the day it reached 25, the water in the sea is not cold, we swam and sunbathed.Aitar was chosen by chance. Lived in a cottage , 2 floors, 2 toilets, shower on the second floor. From the balcony you can see the entire central part of the boarding house . Peacocks go everywhere, take food from their hands...All employees are very responsive and kind people. Of course, those who are used to noisy, bright, modern recreation may not like it.Vacationers are mostly people from 40 and above..there were young families with children, nature, the sea - across the street....dining room , cafe, gym, sauna, to the center - 10 minutes by minibus or bus. We went on excursions - the guide is a wonderful girl, you can listen to her for hours.... the driver is also a very friendly person, joked, did everything to make the trip comfortable. We had three meals a day...of course there is no seafood, steak was also not given....BUT always fresh dishes, the first - 3 types, milk porridge, omelet, dumplings, chicken in sauce, stewed vegetables, salads, cheese, sausage, 6 types of sauce, compote, and much more....everyone ate up...only fruits in Abkhazia probably when we were - some have already departed, others have not yet ripened...there were apples... But this is a small thing...a trip to the center and take whatever you want.We advise everyone who loves silence and nature to visit there. And THANKS to all the employees and prosperity, let everything work out for them...

Thank you so much for your stay in Aitara.We liked everything very much.We lived in 3 buildings without food, but we were not hungry, there are two canteens on the territory, one of them is a buffet, you can buy separately at the reception, there are two coffees, you can take a delicious soup after the sea in the afternoon.Children's animations, evening discos,coffee.There is no time to be bored in the evenings.The sea is within walking distance, sun beds are free.The excursions are interesting, we went to New Athos, there are a lot of impressions.We will definitely come to you on vacation again.Even the morning cries of peacocks did not spoil our rest.

For a beach holiday, a great option. Nearby is the excellent sandy Mocha beach and the hotel beach across the street. The food is good, you will not stay hungry. The territory is very nice and beautiful:peacocks walk around the territory, beautiful plants, like in a botanical garden. Since we were out of season, I won't say that here in the summer, but at the end of October there is nothing to do in the evening. Everything is fine with transport : minibuses constantly go to the city center, the price is 30p, buses and trolleybuses are rare, tickets are 10p. The rooms are tired, of course, but probably 30 years ago-it was normal, but it was quite tolerable for us for 2 nights, the ox is hot, the batteries do not heat, they turned on the air conditioner for heating. Since the boarding house is not 100% full right now. guests are not accommodated next to each other, which is a very big plus.For the price, it's quite a good place.

It is well located, its own beach is across the street, through an underground passage. There are ledakas, umbrellas on the beach, and small pebbles in the sea. The water is clean, without algae. Abkhazia is beautiful! The purest mountain and sea air, birdsong.
The hotel was built by the USSR, but people try to keep it in decent condition. However, the lack of shower products is annoying. If you do not take shampoos or gels with you, you can buy them at the nearest Aitar layout. Of everything in the Suite, there is a piece of soap (by smell - household) and a roll of gray toilet paper, which breaks down into molecules when touched. There is one bedside table in the bedroom next to the double bed. There are no night lights. Only the chandelier under the ceiling. You won't read it if you put the child to bed. But the most unpleasant thing is that there is no shelf in the shower stall. Should shampoo and soap be kept in your teeth? We put it on a pallet. There is an option-periodically open the doors of the shower stall and, balancing on a wet pallet, reach for the shelf above the sink! But we are solving all the problems, we have adapted. The dining room is open for 5+!. Very tasty. There is enough of everything. The beach is cleaned, there are always enough sun beds.

We are in Aitara now. A big company that just happened to be here. You need to book strongly in advance (The guys work perfectly. Kitchen, chefs, waiters - five plus. It is always very tasty and nothing repeats itself. Animation- well done! Both on the beach and in the boarding house! Excursions from Aitar : convenient, informative.The guide Asmat is just super!! The Evening Sukhum tour-you can take it on the first day and understand a lot at once. Room cleaning (we live in a cottage and 2 buildings) - very good, well done! The territory is beautiful, clean, the animals are cute. The sea is super. Thank you Abkhazia! I already want to go back.

I do not know which rooms are in the first building, but it is better not to take the second one, as it apparently was in Soviet times, the old furniture is still in motion, the territory is beautiful, the greenery is full, the trees are beautiful and well-groomed. The beach is beautiful. Cleaning is done all the time. You can quickly take buses to the bazaar to buy fruits at decent prices. Excursions can be taken to see Abkhazia. The price of the vouchers is acceptable.

A wonderful place to relax. There is everything to forget about everyday worries. Without luxury. But it's enough.
The cuisine is good, the food is of high quality, moderately varied. The staff is friendly. Animation for children and entertainment for adults are organized.
The only thing missing is a place for children to walk on the territory of the Author himself. The playground is very poor. We could at least paint it.

We had a rest from September 6 to September 14, 2023 at the Aitar boarding house. We lived in building number 3, this is the economy building. The rooms are not bad, everything is there, toilet, shower, air conditioning., even the furniture is new, but the unwashed and rusty shower tray and shower curtain are all dirty with mold. The rest of the boarding house is very beautiful and clean. The food is decent, of good quality. In the evenings, there is live music in the cafe, a disco on the site. Peacocks, ducks, rabbit. We'll come back again, and even to the economy, but I would like a clean room.

My husband and I moved to Abkhazia a long time ago, and if guests from Russia come to us, they often stay at your boarding house, and everyone always likes everything very much.
But today we faced an unpleasant situation, in the parking lot a half-naked guard started shouting at us to pay for parking, my husband and I went to the administrator, she said that there was no need to pay, the guard continued to be rude and told us not to appear anymore.
We don't mind 100 rubles, just because we have Russian rooms and we look like tourists, it doesn't mean that we can be fooled.
Please deal with this situation!
