We took an excursion tour, which provided accommodation in the Aitar boarding house. Before the trip, we read reviews about both the terrible service and the disgusting food. Therefore, we were mentally prepared for the worst. But upon arrival, we were surprised by such bad reviews. Yes, the rooms are small and they have been renovated for a very long time. But it is clean, the linen and towels are really white, the room was cleaned daily. And the territory of the boarding house and the buffet meals are generally a fairy tale. We were satisfied with the rest. The variety of cuisine and the quality of the food, as well as its abundance, are beyond praise. Many thanks to the chefs and waiters for +2kg to the weight in 3 days))

Well, very poor! The interior is from the 70s. The neighbors can be heard as if they are in the room :)) The dining room is without frills, from the word AT ALL! Sausages, sausage, "ham" are not edible at all. There are not enough dishes, there is always a queue. The opening hours for breakfast, lunch and dinner are not enough, hence the queue. The beach is across the street, but not so hot. It's better on Mocha, the benefit is nearby. You can find the staff if you need to. WiFi is free (well, like everywhere else), but through a stump deck. It is constantly disconnected, does not load, the connection jumps to different access points, fortunately there are several of them (because the radius of the routers is small). TV comes from the beginning of 2000. He barely breathes and also hangs periodically! Only the territory pleases! There is a church on site, fountains, peacocks and cafes.

He did not live in a hotel, but on the territory in trailers. I didn't like the high humidity. The food was in the same trailers, I also did not like it. You can't get into the dining room in Aitar itself, I saw a queue of visitors on the street.
From the good: this is a territory and a park on it, they were able to build under the Soviet government! There is also a clear sea, in the evening there is a good animation program for children (on the fifth day I got bored) there is also a football and tennis court. In the market, the price very seriously depends on how you are dressed, the first time you got there from the train - crumpled and not shaved. Inexpensive ice cream (very tasty) and a gorgeous samsa. They offered alcoholic vodka and wine, stupidly bought one bottle of wine, a rare one. The next day in civil: prices increased by 20 percent, and delicious ice cream by 40 ... Alcohol was not offered.

Only the TV was new, but it did not improve the impression of the room. The staff is friendly. but he does not respond to requests. There were problems in the room with the water drain, we left, but the problems remained. On the plus side: the staff in the dining room, who quickly remove dirty dishes from the tables and quickly change the trays where the food ended.
Cons: breakfast, omelet casserole and sausages with mucus all the time, boiled eggs were given twice in 10 days. For dinner, there was chicken fried or noticed all the time, but very fatty.Fruits are apples only. The cups are crushed.Porridges are sweet. May tea. Otherwise, the food is either very spicy or too salty. The room was cleaned every day, but the bed linen was never changed, only the towels were changed. The territory is very beautiful, the cafe next to the temple is very tasty. The air conditioner is dirty.

We bought vouchers, chose a boarding house based on photos. And in the end we came to the chicken coop!!! Yes, there are boarding house buildings, but they are inhabited there, as I understand it, only those who take vouchers with meals. The rest go to the chicken coop called Building 3. The filth is incredible, they never washed the floor, did not change the linen, did not change the towels in 12!! Nights.dirty dishes in the room, a refrigerator in black mold, an unwashed toilet. The cleaning consisted of bringing us a roll of paper for 4 rubles and that's it!The neighbors' snoring behind the wall, even their whispering, can be heard everywhere. There is a fence outside the window, there is a military unit, soldiers are yelling from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. We were just in shock. NEVER buy vouchers to the 3rd building in this boarding house! These are the iron wagons where the staff lived and lives, there is even a fence from the rest of the building.There was no remote control for the TV. I didn't catch Wi-Fi in our chicken coops, I had to sit under the buildings. And there is never a photo of where we were settled on the website when buying a boarding house. We had a rest with my wife from 08/03/2021 to 08/11/2021..I liked everything very much.The territory is surrounded by greenery.Simply put, the sanatorium is located on the territory of the arboretum.There are a lot of colors.There is a church of St. George the Victorious.with its own history, it was built in 1827.There are many places to relax, two fountains, a playground,a dance floor, a sports ground.There is a buffet in the dining room with a good kitchen.There are two gourmet cafes.We drank oriental coffee there in the morning, it was very tasty.There is a medical center, cosmetology room, dentistry and massage room.We took a course of healing massage for a reasonable fee, for which many thanks to the massage therapists.In the evenings there is an entertainment program for children and adults.Local artists came to us with an interesting program.The rooms are no frills, reminiscent of a trip to the USSR.BUT, but everything you need is in the room.The room was cleaned every day.Helpful staff in the dining room.In the evenings, the same guys organized a dance show with national dances of the Sea within walking distance from their beach.You need to go down to him through an underpass under a busy highway. .We really liked the atmosphere, hospitality and location of the boarding house.I strongly advise you to visit this fabulous corner.

A wonderful boarding house with the exception of a few but:
1) in building 2, room 203 is not suitable for living.( everything that can be creaked throughout the boarding house, the door closes only with a strong slam, the doors barely hold in the closet.
2) A very small playground for small children and located in an unfortunate location.
3) why not make a playground for small children and water slides on the beach. That's extra money for the boarding house.

I want to say to those vacationers who pay 25,000 for a ticket with meals and want a 5-star hotel. Guys, if you want the highest level, scold hotels worth 100,000 and you will get the service that you want for that kind of money. Briefly about the hotel - the territory is class, the sea is warm with a private beach with sun beds and towels, the food is not like at home, of course, but you will not stay 100 percent hungry and the children too. I agree with the queue, it is there, but not as they wrote earlier for 20 minutes, a maximum of 5 minutes. And most importantly, I want to tell all the vacationers who say that there is nothing to eat in the dining room, that you need to start with those people who take food out of the dining room - thank you, many of you remain hungry. How many elderly people I've seen who throw everything into bags in a row is embarrassing to look at. Well, everyone forgot about the masks here - but this is everyone's business. So I recommend this boarding house to everyone.

We rested at the boarding house in June 2021, lived in the first building, booked a room in February. We came to Abkhazia for the first time, previously we rested in the sanatoriums of Anapa and Crimea. We chose Aitar according to the information provided on the Internet, we liked the price, the territory, the proximity of the beach, we also studied the reviews. We did not focus on the reviews, because they were very different, it was difficult to make an objective impression of the boarding house based on them. We understood that low prices could not provide a first-class vacation, so we went to Aitar with the mood for a budget, but decent vacation.
We reached the boarding house without any problems. The first problem arose on the threshold of Aitar, it turned out that there were no available rooms in the boarding house, there was a single, free room for us on the ground floor. Subsequently, we heard a similar story from our neighbors, someone suggested to them that they needed to give money. In our case, we guessed about the money right away, but they did not give us the money in principle, which influenced the further attitude of the administrator towards us.
The room on the ground floor turned out to have a strong smell of dampness, subsequently we insisted on moving to another room. We were given a room on the second floor. It was an ordinary budget room with signs of recent renovation, the room fully corresponded to the description provided on the boarding house's website. But, the site did not indicate that large, black cockroaches live in the room, under the bathroom, the toilet does not work well, there is no way to use the Internet, uncertain reception of television programs.
Considering that our vacation option at the Aitar boarding house assumed three meals a day according to the buffet system, we had to visit the dining room daily, three times a day. The first visit to the dining room left an impression worthy of a budget vacation, subsequently this impression began to deteriorate constantly, due to the appearance of multi-meter queues for dishes, lack of food for vacationers, and when bags were taken away and checked at the entrance to the dining room, the impression deteriorated completely. It was the first time we saw the bags being checked in the dining room. As a result, at the mention of the dining room, the mood instantly deteriorated, I did not want to go to the dining room. In the dining room, we met the employee of the hall, Mzia, she is a professional of the highest class, she could always cheer us up with her attitude towards vacationers.
In the evening, recreation evenings for children and adults were held in the boarding house, children were entertained with games, adults were danced to very loud music, low-quality sound. We hid in the room from this adult entertainment, closed the doors to the balcony, but this did not save us, the windows rattled from the music in the room, each time this torture lasted more than an hour.
The most decent rest turned out to be on the beach, the beach workers explained the rules of behavior on the beach very culturally, carried out exercises, arranged banana rides, provided vacationers with sun beds, made the necessary announcements in a timely manner. Thank them very much for this!
I will refrain from recommending the Aitar boarding house.

You leave the territory, go down into the underpass and... you are already on the beach, and in front of you is the purest, warm sea! What else does St. Petersburg need!!! I am currently staying at this hotel.I read a lot of reviews before the trip.I thought okay, you won't please everyone.For me, there's a split and a bed to sleep in.there is a split only every day from 4 to 8 in the morning, the power line is turned off. The room has a light but there is no light on the balcony.a bed with an old mattress on which a flat new mattress is laid.The chicken slides out of bed a couple of times fell out of bed with him.the result is that you get up and put everything in place.and there is no sleep anymore.there are no questions about the territory, everything is neat and clean.the beach is super. the feeder is far from a buffet.U-shaped table with tea three times a day.there was compote once. the food is full of chicken every day.pasta and porridge it is not clear what kind of gray matter is made of.I was afraid to try it out.from the first one there was just a type of kharcho and some kind of liquid soup. it looks like PVA glue.I have been living here for 4 days now, I think there will be no improvement.I really want to go home.Of course, it's up to you to go here or not.this is my experience of staying at this hotel.but I will not return to NGO exactly when.

a good boarding house if you are interested in a relaxing family vacation. almost all the buildings of the Soviet era (in fact, like all the main buildings of Sukhum) with appropriate furnishings. a decent 3 meals a day, although very monotonous (especially breakfasts), but it is definitely not possible to stay hungry. the child really liked the nightly animation - thanks to the animators. the sea is warm, the shore is medium-sized pebbles. entrance to the sea in shoes (free sale both on the territory of Aitar and on the Sukhum market). There are 2 small cafes with low prices and a good assortment. the disadvantages include "adult" animation - only discos every other day with a very "original" repertoire.

You will eat only stuck-together pasta and buckwheat, if you do not want to risk your health, dirty tables "wiped" with a wet cloth with bleach, fruits, vegetables, sour milk absolutely not, soups are just slop, it is not known what is mixed into minced cutlets and is not edible, there is no meat, there are sub-products and soy dumplings. ALL salads are covered with black pepper, specifically covered. There are a lot of elderly people and children, I do not know what they eat, but yes - rolls, they also have bread from the day before yesterday. There is no diet. The rooms are 9 meters long, the furniture is a scoop with sharp corners, the pads are all broken and rusty. There is tea, boiling water is not always available, coffee is not always available, all questions are answered that it is over and will not happen again. But if you are a cheerful and positive person and even without financial problems, then of course you will enjoy a good and clean sea, a beautiful and green area, and you will probably eat in a cafe on the terrace.sanatoriums, a good grill and everything else, alcohol is a penny (I'm sorry I don't drink), and the local mazzoni is just great!
