We stopped by for a short swim and freshen up) We found a beach in Orsha on Yandex maps. It turned out to be a generally pleasant place: a sandy beach, you can comfortably sit on the grass, there is a gentle descent to the water for adults and children, a sandy bottom, buoys. Parking is a 5-minute walk away. The place is popular, there are a lot of tourists)) 👍 We liked it, we were passing through from St. Petersburg. Have a good rest!

There is no beach in Orsha anymore. What they've done now is just some kind of nightmare! Trees and willows were cut down, which provided shade in the heat and were a natural barrier from the roadway and the maternity hospital. And now it's a wasteland overgrown with quinoa as tall as a man! Even the old shop with a canopy was torn out! It's just a place where you don't want to go.

I wish there was more sand on the beach and the descents to the water could be made somehow more even. And if this is a beach that is allowed for swimming, why are there so many stones in the water that both children and adults kick their feet against! Can't they be removed from there?
