A stunning museum, a lot of interesting things, a very large territory, it is best to take an excursion, a very picturesque place, stunning nature, the whole family was happy to visit. For an additional fee, you can ride horses, hang gliding, and there are cute inexpensive souvenirs. Why are there still 4 stars - in the entire vast territory we could not buy water, ordinary water for a child, it was hot, the territory was large, and we drank all our water, the local tavern could not stand visitors - the tables on the street were not serviced, there were few of them inside and only one waitress behind the bar and behind at the cash desk, and at table service (only alcohol and soda are available from drinks). I was also surprised that there are practically no signs on the territory, only a map at the beginning. Plus, dump trucks and other equipment were driven at breakneck speed, some construction work was carried out on the shore of the track. In general, it is best to go by car and with a sufficient supply of water.

Interesting buildings, a large territory, there are horses on the territory. There is also a deltoplane ride. I was at the Swimming Pool. I liked the organization of the holiday itself and the presenters. It was cozy and fun at home, as in a circle of friends. There was also a night race on the territory. It was interesting too. From the cons: it is clear that we did not expect so many people, we did not have time to sell tickets, but we tried to get everyone as soon as possible. A couple of tents were working late on the territory, the main institution was closed, although they could have adjusted to people. I hope that the next events will take this into account. The territory is large, you can hold any events brilliantly for large groups of people.

A lot of work has been done to recreate everyday life and cultural traditions! This is from a good one)
We visited with children, the territory is large , you can walk for a long time , you can only eat in one cafe, there is nothing else on the territory, or we did not find it. The cafe has homemade food , it 's fine )
One of the disadvantages is the toilet , it 's TERRIBLE
At the entrance, you are greeted by a building that cannot be visited for sanitary and ethical reasons "from the word at all". Dear curators of this museum, please show respect to your guests and solve the problem

We visited the museum with our big family on a cloudy day on August 22, 2024 and are still exchanging impressions. It is very informative and at the same time homely. There were almost no visitors and we had a wonderful walk almost alone. These huts are like .. I don't even know what to compare it with... As in the stories of Turgenev, Gorky, Chekhov and Korolenko, they visited in reality. The museum was conceived by Soviet restorers, which gives it special weight. Not like these modern agro-ethno-innovations. After a walk, we got hungry and had lunch at the tavern. The prices seemed adequate to us. The tavern serves sooo delicious apple pie and herbal tea, we recommend it to everyone.
To the caretakers of the Holy Transfiguration Church (the "Dnieper region" zone) and the Wreath yard from the village of Budichi ("Poozerye") special thanks from our family for their help, kindness, interesting information about the objects entrusted to them and cordiality. And the church from the village of Velets built in the 18th century is an absolute delight. Standing next to each other, you can still see Homa Brutus and Pannochka, albeit not quite a geographically correct association.
Of the minuses: the caretaker of the chapel from the village of Korolevtsy (the very first one I met, next to the mill) turned out to be a very unpleasant, embittered and ill-mannered man. During our visit to the chapel, he burned us all the time with his evil and arrogant gaze, no less than selflessly prevented theft (well, of course, we came to steal artifacts with the whole family))))) To absolutely harmless questions ("will we walk along this path to the mill"), he was mercilessly and senselessly rude ("I don't know where you will go there. Go wherever you want, no one is lost here yet"). It's a shame that this one with a black soul is stuck in such a God-pleasing place. Well, anyway, we didn't let this evil man spoil our mood and moved on in a friendly company.

Personally, I liked the museum, the huge territory, a lot of exhibits, mills, huts, carriages, chests… not far from Minsk (closer than the famous Dudinka) The staff is polite, will tell you, show you. If desired, you can ride a horse, have your own yard with turkeys, courses, etc. The food in the cafe is very tasty, I have never eaten such borscht anywhere. The children are delighted.

It's a good museum. Yes, of course, in terms of its content and value, it is certainly inferior to the Russian northern museums - Kizhi, Vitoslavitsy, etc. It is more a museum of everyday life than of wooden architecture. However, it feels like everything was done with love for their culture, and a good guide's story means a lot. In this regard, we were lucky - Polina Chapa gave us a great tour. In general, we recommend everyone to take the tour - without it, a lot will remain behind the scenes.

A great place to get acquainted with the culture and way of life of the country. There is 1 coffee shop and toilets on site, there is an opportunity to ride horses and deltalets - by appointment. There are many benches near the paths. When we were there for the second time, we took water and food with us, so as not to wait in the coffee and not return to the car, since it is far from the parking lot to the expositions.

A great place for a quiet walk, taking your time, in a semi-wooded and clean place. Compared to the Dudutki heaven and earth. The territory is divided into different areas, the houses, according to the caretakers, were carefully disassembled, transported and reassembled with love and method appropriate to the era.
You can go to each house to look, but there is a nuance, fences are provided at the entrance, without an individual tour it is not always possible to go and look right inside the rooms. Although there are many children's excursions and you can slip in with them) that's just the sharp-eyed guides will surely draw you.
In general, it is a place for a pleasant acquaintance with the originality of housing buildings in Belarus, various regions, and various time periods.
Full immersion) there are even horses in the pasture.
The average visit time is 4-5 hours. Take some water, some sandwiches. There is one place for lunch on the territory, and there are not always places there in a big season with a lot of visitors.
I recommend it! And have a nice rest)))

We got to the museum in beautiful clear weather, which allowed us to take excellent pictures. Well, few such museums can be found in the CIS countries and in the post-Soviet space in particular. Everything you wanted to know about the culture and way of life, the traditional way of life of the Belarusian people, but were afraid to ask — everything is presented here in great detail. It's like you're diving into the history of these places, as if these places didn't become part of history. Original architecture , traditional dishes and utensils, authentic reproduction of everyday life — everything is here. On the territory you can also find a tavern, which serves delicious traditional cuisine in equally traditional pottery. I strongly recommend visiting this museum first of all upon arrival in Minsk, it will not leave you indifferent

It's great to walk around, see the threshing floor from different places in Belarus.
It's just a magical Tavern, where the food is delicious and the prices are not very high.

The only disadvantage is to wander along sandy roads, but then you realize that there is no other way)

Just be sure, BE sure to book a tour: it's just a hundred times more interesting and understandable, the guide is wonderful, you can ask a question about any detail, any object. It costs very little, but it pays off a hundredfold.
And you can also hold a traditional wedding there – the way our ancestors conducted it) When we were on an excursion, we just got to one – and a year later we also organized our own, and it was just wonderful!)

An interesting open-air museum, a must-visit for those who are interested in traditional life and history. A huge territory - do not cross. Unfortunately, not all houses are open in winter. but in any case, there is something to see. No dirt was noticed, there are tracks. The wooden churches on the territory are very distinctive. The tavern is beautiful, the hodgepodge and the draniki are delicious! Despite the winter time, we were even able to buy souvenirs from a craftswoman. My daughter was charmed by the horse and geese at the entrance))) In general, I had the best impressions. In summer, I think you can spend a whole day there.

The museum presents traditional buildings and household items of the Belarusian village. One can feel the love and care with which the exhibits of the museum were collected and restored. The wood itself, of which the walls are built, makes an impression.
The exposition, built in the form of a village with houses, outbuildings, churches, a school and a tavern, gives an idea of the life and occupations of our ancestors.
The territory is very large.
You can take to the sky on a paraglider and look at the museum from a height.

We arrived at the museum, it is quite large, minus two stars, as when they sold us tickets, no one told us or offered a guide, there were 5 of us, in fact, a whole group, we bought a brooch where it is indicated where everything is and went, the first was a garden, but it turned out to be closed, further there was a church where a formidable man was sitting, we thought he would tell us something, but he said read there. In general, we walked around, went into one house or another, then met a group of people with a guide, wanted to join them, 6a that we were told that we had to pay for the tour at the entrance, and I tell us no one even offered this service. Of course, we would have taken a guide to explain to us what kind of life, then a woman told us in one of the houses that this museum had a different way of life and houses from different regions of Belarus were brought.

We were at the Kupala, the reception was poorly organized. We arrived before the event, but there was already a huge queue at the ticket offices. The museum does not provide an opportunity to buy a ticket through the website, this clarification was reported in an extremely dissatisfied form by a museum employee at the entrance. Two hours later (and at the same time an hour before the end of the event), an aggressively minded cashier of the museum came out, who in an extremely unfriendly form said that the ticket offices should actually close, but they will continue to work until the end of the event (another hour), but in her opinion, the remaining the queue should disperse, as the exposition is already closing on the territory of the museum and the master classes are finishing their work. We turned around and left, the holiday for us was limited to two wasted hours in line in the heat, the museum staff were not happy to receive us. Many other people left with us. There were acquaintances who stayed, and said that of the events in the last hour there was only a bonfire, the sale of kebabs and magnets, although there was still a whole hour of the event announced in the poster. In general, there were such hopes for this holiday, I have already been to Strochitsy and brought my family there for the first time. And naturally, we will never go there again, because it is difficult to form a worse impression of the museum.
By the way, the exposition there is not quite detailed and historically not always reliable, as the museum is a very average place. It could be a great venue for events if employees took a responsible approach to organizational issues.

Very interesting!
There should be a lot of such places and they need to be saturated with Belarusian flavor, made brighter by possibly costumed fairs, for example, with immersion in that era, not boring.
Of course, the museum requires some additions (for example, an exposition of non-represented regions of the country)
You can also add pointers to the territory that are duplicated everywhere, not just at the beginning
To make comfortable movement around the territory for people with disabilities and old age, for example, electric traction for several people (we went with the family and the mother-in-law just barely walks, she often sat somewhere and could not walk)

When you get tired of the hustle and bustle of the city, you can get in the car and in half an hour find yourself in the 16th-19th century, plunge into the life of the Belarusian peasantry. The territory is large, about five kilometers from the entrance to the extreme farm, there are many buildings, you can go somewhere, somewhere it is fenced with a chain and you can just look at the ancient utensils, of which there are a lot. There are two functioning churches, at the entrance and in the center of the museum, there is a small restaurant. They will let you in with a dog, just lead it on a leash))
There is an aviation club on the territory, where for a little money you can fly for 8 or 15 minutes, record in a few days, but if you are lucky, you can arrange on the spot. They will also sell coffee beans and ice cream. But! Be careful! A red-haired chicken can peck ice cream right in your hands!
