It's not great as an independent location, but if you're driving somewhere nearby, then it's worth stopping by. It's quite interesting in itself, it's not the most convenient for movement, but it's the best for photography. I especially like it when the greenery wraps around it, it's something unreal.

BESLETSKY BRIDGE (TSARINA TAMARA BRIDGE)⛰7 km north of Sukhum there is one of the oldest buildings on the territory of Abkhazia: the Besletsky Bridge. Also popularly known as the Bridge of Queen Tamara.
A one-time attraction for cool photos.

It will be interesting for tourists coming to Abkhazia for the first time. However, the place itself is more suitable for the definition of a beautiful photo zone. The bridge is compact, spanned by a local river. Almost all tourists who come here, especially with small children, mercilessly trample, jump to test the strength of the bridge, take bizarre poses, forgetting about safety. Locals say that the bridge is about to fail to withstand such an onslaught.
I advise you to drive a little further into the gorge to see the dam with the power plant of the tsarist times. A modern hotel, restaurant, and recreation areas are equipped next to the dam. There is excellent parking, a very clean designer toilet. You can walk through the territory to the dam and further along the river along the gorge. The walk takes about an hour. Entrance to the territory is paid. 200 rubles per car.

A small attraction, although there is something to see here, where to climb for the curious. The nature around is amazing. However, you can get there either by taxi or by bus, which runs according to some schedule. But you can only get out by taxi, because the bus schedule is unknown. You can take a chance on foot if it's not hot.

The bridge is like a bridge. Pretty small. It may be interesting to history lovers, as it seems to have been laid back in the 1300s. I didn't double-check the fact.
There is a peasant guarding tourists, like for 100 rubles an excursion and a story about the area. Like 100 rubles, but he rips them off masterfully))) Even if you don't want to go on a tour, he will still persuade you to go, or hand over these very 100 rubles

It's a beautiful place, it's not very far from the center, the road is normal. If you walk from the bridge into the valley of the river, you can walk along a tributary of the river that runs along the rocks, along the way there is a collapsed structure, behind it a hollowed-out room with a small window and an iron door in the rock, what was there can only be guessed, definitely worth coming for an hour

A beautiful historical place, not far from the city. 11th century ! There are not many such bridges left in the whole world. There are a lot of abandoned persimmons on the way), although it will be ready by October.
The general view of the bridge spoils the closely built bridge of the Soviet era .

It's a very nice place, more like a photo zone. It is located close to Sukhumi. There's nowhere much to wander/walk around here. Of course, it's impressive to stand on a bridge and realize how old it is and what was used to build it.

Well, a very old bridge was built by the Georgians in the 11th century. It was, as they say, for a military road, connecting military facilities. On the side of the bridge there is an inscription in Old Russian, which means "Christ is the lord, in every possible way... exalt in both lives"

The bridge is unusual, historical, you can only cross it on foot or on a donkey, and then riding an animal will be scary. A beautiful location for photographing, next to a sprawling tree in the shade of which people can hide from the sun. There is an inactive historical hydroelectric power plant nearby, which can be visited for inspection.

I've been here more than 10 times, and every time it's like the first time! The bridge, built in the XI century, is getting stronger every day, due to the fact that egg whites were used in the construction process.

A beautiful, relatively secluded place near Sukhum. The bridge smells of antiquity. The key point of some forgotten caravan route for centuries. How they built it all back then, it doesn't fit in my head. It's a great place to contemplate and take pictures. And next to the bridge there is a beautiful lichen-covered walnut. It used to be guarded by a nest of hornets, but apparently they moved somewhere. )) They weren't there the last time.
