Hello everybody! I am a software engineer, so I need very good English for my job.
At the beginning, I started to learn English by myself by watching movies, reading news, and doing exercises in the Duolingo app. However, one day I realized that it wasn't enough, and I started searching for an English school.
I tried to learn English at a few schools, but I decided to stay at this one because they said that all explanations would be in English. (But I still don't understand why an English school has a website in Russian.)I understood English well, but I couldn’t speak fluently, and I don't understand when teachers switch from English to Russian and start explaining something in Russian. I think this is not a good way to learn English.
During our studies, we have learned English with different teachers, and I highly recommend working with Ilyas because he is the strongest teacher in this school. He is very good at grammar and can explain everything. He speaks fluently and has a very high IELTS score. He is very passionate about teaching people English and has his own YouTube channel with a lot of videos dedicated to the English language (EliasKhananovEnglish). He is also a very clever and talented person. He is the best teacher in this school.
Today we finished our intermediate course, and we are going to start studying at the upper-intermediate level in September.
I wrote this text because Ilyas asked me to write something about somebody by myself and not take something from Wikipedia )))). I don't get why people talk about good English and then write reviews in Russian )))) I hope that Ilias won't mind if I add some photos with him to my review.

Взяла курс интенсив англ на месяц. Первое вречатление испортили сразу, когда с результатом теста в2 предложили ,,размяться,, в группе preintermediate. Там люди с уровнем элементари.
На intermediate тоже слабо. Но разница между группой intermediate и upper intermediate колоссальная. Не понятно почему так. Помощи в выборе курса, полходящего для конкретного студента никакой. Кажется школу волнует только оплата за курс. Преподаватели тоже в конце курса озвучивают цель данного курса. Если вы зотите выучить англ, интенсив курс не советую, да, толк будет, но вы потом забудете это без практики. И разговаривать после таких курсов не начнете. О разговорных клубах тоже слышала, что вы просто будете сидеть исправлять ошибки друг друга. На сайте большой перечень всевозсожных курсов и кружков, но по факту группы не набраны и они эти курсы не ведут.
Еще удивила вещь, что на курс рассчитанный на месяц, млжно прйити в любой мосент и начать с любого занятия. Очень странно для меня.
В целом впечатление не очень от школы.
Также видела отзыв ниже, ситуация позожа на мою. Брала курс для взрослых, но на летнеи интенсиве занимаются люди 15-22гг. Не интересно. Обсуждать с ними наивные темы тоже скучно. Думала, буду заниматься со взрослыми.
