We got to the park, on the holiday of May 9th. There are a lot of visitors, a festive mood, enough greenery and beautiful places, good paths, many benches and places where you can have a snack, and in the evening the Ferris wheel is lit with colorful lights!!! 🔥🔥🔥

A wonderful place to relax! And not only for recreation - you can do great work if the work format is remote. A separate topic is ducks, swans and squirrels... It turns out to be a direct unity with nature in the city center.
The only disadvantage is that if there is a point of sale of all sorts of goodies, they did not have ordinary water in bottles (well, or mineral). I had to look around.

I have known the park since childhood, before when I was a kid in the Union, I often went to the Summer and Zorka cinemas, they were wooden, now they are gone, of course it has not become worse, much has changed.As always, the order is on top . I remember the first fishing trip on a large lake with an island, there was no limit to joy, they caught crucians and galyuns, let them go back to the lake, now it is forbidden.It's a pity that you can't, how can you teach your grandson to fish!I think maybe with time someone will come up with a good fishing attraction, even if not for a lot of money!There is everything in the park to spend time with children, there are many food outlets! There is a zoo corner at the park where you can get a pleasant experience of communicating with small animals.

A good park, lots of entertainment for both children and adults. Until recently, I was satisfied.
Recently we were with our family, we saw a new attraction for children, I don't remember exactly what it's called, something like sea hunting or something like that, the kids sit down, the carousel turns in a circle and water pours from the handles in the form of fish... Everything seems to be fine. But there are 2 Problems that I encountered ...
1. Tickets for children under 4 years old and an adult who will accompany the baby at the same price for 4p. for each, even if you sit in the same chair... It seems like it's not expensive, but is it really impossible to make 2p + 4p?
2. When I took 2 tickets, one for the youngest (3 years old) and the eldest daughter as an escort (17 years old), they went into the same boat, sat down... go.. and when the carousel spun, it turned out that one handle does not shoot water like all the others, naturally I see that my youngest is upset, and I asked the controller to transfer them to another boat.
And then I was shocked, probably not I alone, because I heard indignation about the further actions of the controller. He (the controller), without turning off the carousel, jumped up to my children with an indignant look and grumbled and began to transfer the children!!! And if they had fallen??? Into the water that is under the carousel or, God forbid, got into the mechanisms, what then???
Dear park managers! You are welcome! Check your staff for suitability for this job.
Personally, in my eyes and in the eyes of those who watched all this action on the part of your employee (male, 50-55 years old), you have fallen in quality and greed, and in the safety of your customers!

As always, you can start the story with the phrase: we have never had this!!!! :))))) I was in Brest on April 27-28, 2024 after lunch, the children took me to the Ferris wheel in central park, the sightseeing tour from the wheel was almost coming to an end, when suddenly there was a breakdown :)))) after which the staff turned on the reverse and the open cabin in which I was with a 9-year-old child stopped at the very top! During an hour and a half of my stay there, at a 40-meter height, I managed to explore all the beauties of Brest more than once :)))) I understand everything, the equipment is out of order, but still I think it is necessary to keep a certain reserve of spare parts in case of such emergencies!

It's good to walk with children, the rides are part Soviet, part more modern. The view from the wheel is not very extensive, trees cover it. A very green park with ponds. Ice cream on every corner, in cafes and cash desks, you can pay with a card, but for all sorts of little things for children like souvenirs and toys, you need cash, which we did not have as tourists.
