I can't raise my hand to give a low rating, but I still want to warn travelers. There is a restoration going on inside, no one will tell you about it from the outside. Apart from the carpet and a couple of stained glass windows, you won't see anything. Just take a walk through the beautiful territory, do not waste time on uncomfortable changing shoes on the go in line.) I hope next time we will be able to appreciate the beauty of the mosque.

Unfortunately, in September 2021, almost everything was under restoration, even the spire of one minaret in the woods, the top was removed. The Sultan 's tomb was completely shocked . The mosque is iconic, very beautiful. I will definitely come after the restoration work is completed.

There was a reconstruction, but visitors were allowed into a part of the mosque. The dome was visible. The dome was not particularly impressive, it was somewhat modest in decoration.

This is the first mosque in Istanbul, which is its pride and calling card! The second name is "Blue Mosque". A good location, as it is visible from almost all sides of the city, 6 minarets. It is a very beautiful and amazing building!!!

The most famous, but not the largest mosque in Istanbul. It didn't seem any outstanding inside: carpets on the floor, mostly blue painting - from here the second name is "Blue Mosque". And by the way, I was allowed into it in shorts)
