Staff is very friendly, whoever misses their grandmas cooking can get it here. The decor really will bring you back to very early childhood in your post soviet apartment. The only negative thing I could say is that they took away the sour cream with fully finished bortch soup bowl but when I got my sweet cherry Palmeni I had no sour cream anymore with me 😔✊ was so delicious regardless just wish I had that sour cream with me. It’s more funny than negative ig lmao here’s the sour cream next to my veggie borscht <3 you’ll be missed and never forgotten

It's a good place, especially when I wanted homemade Russian food)) the borscht was very tasty, they also bring pepper, as far as I remember! But the okroshka surprised me, they took it with ayran)) but apparently, I do not know how it is usually served in a cafe, they brought it in a large beer mug, and there was mostly liquid in it, and there were very few cucumbers, greens and boiled sausage floating on top. I got the impression that okroshka is a drink in Armenia, because then we saw such glasses in other cafes in the refrigerators with drinks))

I was severely poisoned here on 11/19/2024. And despite the adequate reaction of the institution, a night in an embrace with a white friend and a few days in bed are not so easy to forget, I still can't eat much.
For food: dumplings with mushrooms and potatoes are good, although I got one with meat. The pancake cake (and I suspect it) is about nothing at all, I can't even remember its taste, it's paper. Although it is clear that they tried, there are many layers, but there is little cream, the cake itself is cold. A mug of ordinary tea for 900 drams amused me. The company's food was brought in a variety of ways, someone was waiting with nothing, but it's probably OK for a small establishment. The company was upset that the mimosa (smaller fish) and the ear (bony) had changed. The service is polite. I see that many people praise the place, but I'm still afraid to come back here.

We came in the afternoon, took a few dishes, and the vinaigrette was strange. It looked slimy, as if spoiled, and tasted very sour. In general, it is absolutely stale. We told the waiter, and they immediately replaced it for us! For a normal, fresh vinaigrette!
And the question is, what was that? That is, is it possible to give guests an old soured vinaigrette, despite the fact that there is a cooked new one? Just by looking at this vinaigrette, it should be obvious to the cook that it has gone sour, but why pretend that it is still edible? It's sad...

The kitchen is not very good, the food supply is low. Delicious food, I advise you to go to Old Erivan, delicious dolma and khinkali, fine wine, normal price tags, live music and a lovely food service. In general, I was dissatisfied after this pub, borscht is not like borscht, the mood is spoiled for the whole day.

It's a great place! We passed by so many times and now, after almost a year in Yerevan, we decided to stop by. It's a pity that we didn't come earlier) Excellent service (if you know - you know), friendly guys. Borscht (Ukrainian and Russian) is amazing. Someone wrote that there is not enough meat and the portion is small - I disagree. Even my husband, who loves to eat quite a lot, ate a portion in full) Dumplings with chicken are also very tasty. Serving herring under a fur coat in a glass is unusual) and the salad itself was also to my liking. Well, tinctures, pepper, sea buckthorn and especially cranberry - like. In general, I highly recommend it. We will definitely come back. PS: the prices are affordable

We got here on the third day of our stay in Armenia, missed the Russian food 😂 it's cool and unusual, the kitchen is stylized, but there are oddities. The jelly is more like aspic, the capital salad (olivier) is a little dry. Dumplings with rabbit and dumplings with potatoes, as well as herring with potatoes are simply divine. We tried tinctures, participated in contests. Great. I would definitely come in again before I left.

A great place to relax together or in the company of up to 6-8 people. Cool and very diverse tinctures, we drank those with alcohol - everything is fine. I got to the campaign "branded pancakes + a glass of sparkling wine", pancakes with chicken liver - I can't tear myself away, it's a pity that they were only for the campaign, I would have run here to have dinner with them every other day 😂

The first thing I liked was very clean and stylish, with a bit of Soviet vibe. Secondly, the food is very tasty! They took jelly, fried potatoes with sausage, vermicelli with schnitzel. All the dishes are cool, everyone is pleased!
The third is pleasant service, the girl and the young man helped with the choice, and the food was brought surprisingly quickly.
According to the tinctures, guys, I will say so - they are too strong for me, the alcohol base is strongly felt. But my husband and I have allocated a "tomatukha" for ourselves, I will recommend it.
The feeling of visiting the place is pleasant, I liked the atmosphere, we will come again)

We went to have lunch, I don't understand why there are such good reviews here. I'll start with vegan borscht - water, no beetroot, no tomato paste, one huge piece of potato floated. A half-centimeter layer of fat floats on top, which I cleaned myself with napkins. Dissatisfied. Serving sour cream in a jar with a narrow throat and a spice spoon is questionable entertainment. Serving herring under a fur coat in a glass belongs to the same category.
Buckwheat is not tasty, chicken schnitzel is not cooked, dumplings are served on top of sour cream (what?). There is no kettle, a cup of packaged tea costs 900 drams.
I added one star for the pleasant, polite staff and the dog. I won't come back.

What has happened in these six months? The kitchen has gone bad. Russian borscht is cooked on stew, even Ukrainian has become so-so, mimosa salad is nothing at all, pancake cake is blandly sweet, there are no complaints about dumplings - it's delicious as before.
I used to like to eat here, I didn't come here for six months, I was very disappointed. Please bring back the normal chefs.

Borsch: tinctures, atmosphere and, of course, borsch
Several times we were told about this place, but somehow the legs did not reach. But since today is Wednesday, and it's a little Friday, we decided to stop by and check if it's really as cool as they say. Yeah, cool. Inside, the maximum vibe of St. Petersburg shot glasses (hello, Hippolytus), delicious soft tinctures, good food and a clear interior. It is difficult to compare Borscht with fancy bars, but nevertheless...
Service: 10
We very rarely rate the service at 10. Then the order will not be repeated, then for a long time, then something else goes wrong. It was perfect here. We quickly accepted the order, asked if we should repeat it or trust it, tinctures and beer were brought in 5 minutes, borscht for 10 and fried potatoes with onions for 12-15. They got really excited about the service, they haven't seen this in Yerevan for a long time.

There are many options for what to drink and drink. But we took tinctures, beer, and, well, Tomatovka was a bonus for borscht. We drank cherries, raspberries, lemoncello and horseradish. Everything is very soft and delicious. Horseradish, however, could be a little more audacious (I like Friendship better). Beer from Dargett – pilsner, cider and pale ale. Borscht and potatoes were taken for food. They say that the dumplings are cool here, but they have already run out 🙁

Very authentic shot glass style. Quite a lot of light, white tile, basement. At the same time, everything is clean and decent. Okay, just fine.

I don't know how they put music here, but our visit was good old Russian rock: Spleen, Zemfira, Mummy Troll and DDT. Perfectly creates an atmosphere and really, as if it takes you for an hour to the center of St. Petersburg. Very good! Maybe there was a little lack of variety.
Toilet: 8
He's the only one here. Although the room is small, but I suspect that there may be a queue for the toilet on weekends. There is a funny pedestal inside, a little carelessly done, but in general it is much better than in those glass rooms where we have been.
