I express my gratitude to the organizers and keepers of the Brest Fortress. We were part of the tour group in October 2024. Our guide was a junior researcher Margarita Gennadievna. She introduced us to the exposition of 10 halls of the Brest Fortress Defense Museum and the memorial complex. A professional account of events and monuments about them leaves a strong impression. The place is stunning in its scale and serves as a reminder of the heroic feat of our ancestors who gave their lives for our freedom. The architectural ensemble of the fortress made a great impression.
The entrance to the territory is free, anyone can get in.
On the territory of the complex there are:
-monument of Courage
- Eternal Flame
-Ceremonial Square and mass grave;
-An obelisk bayonet
-Sculpture "Thirst"
In hot weather, I recommend to stock up on water and panama hats.

We went on 2 excursions with young, but very wonderful guides. First, we visited the art museum with the guide Anna. Calmly, interestingly, accessible to children and adults, she told us about the emergence of the city of Brest, and then about the artists. Then we got to another wonderful guide Vyacheslav. He spoke about the war in a very informative and accessible way. In general, we are very happy that we visited this place. I recommend
