The British Museum has left me with only positive impressions. This is an amazing place where you can get acquainted with the history, culture and art of different countries and eras.
The museum has a huge collection of exhibits that amaze with their diversity and beauty. I especially remember Egyptian antiquities, antique sculptures and a collection of coins.
The museum staff were very friendly and always ready to help. They told a lot of interesting things about each exhibit, which made visiting the museum even more informative.

An excellent museum with a wonderful permanent exhibition. Facilities for the disabled are provided: free strollers, ramps, elevators. Interesting exhibits. Cafe, gift shop. A great place for an interesting pastime. I recommend.

My journey through London has become truly incomplete without visiting the famous British Museum. Here are my impressions of the visit.
Like it:

Didn't like it:

A good museum, interesting, admission is free. But there are a few buts... The first is that there are very, very many rear-wheel drive around. The second is that the collection of exhibits is, of course, impressive, but again, at what cost - the British just stole everything from the Egyptians, Greeks, etc. I advise you to immediately buy a museum map (there is also one in Russian) and walk along it for interesting exhibits, by the way, there are top 10 exhibits in the guidebook that you need to see.

In my opinion, it is the best museum in the world, and one of the oldest. The richest exposition of rarities brought from all over the world (during the period of the colonial power of the empire).
I especially liked the Egyptian and oriental halls.
You can walk all day without stopping and not have time to really see everything.
I highly recommend you to visit!

They say that Britain has picked up masterpieces from all over the world. I think it is, but...since the British preserve THESE values, probably none of those "from whom they took it away" does. I have been studying objects on the official website of the museum for several months based on the photos I took. The work of the specialists working at the museum is invaluable. And yes, I didn't have time to see everything in a day. The museum is free and very cozy.
