A magnificent church built in 1907, solemn and austere, a fine example of the Neo-Gothic style in architecture. There are several interesting statues around, as well as a monument to the unborn child.

The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Miory is a very beautiful and atmospheric Catholic church built in 1907 in the Neo-Gothic style of red brick. It immediately catches the eye with its tall towers with spires and graceful lancet windows, which gives it a special grandeur and beauty.[12]
The history of the church is interesting: there used to be a wooden chapel on this site, and the temple itself went through difficult times - in 1951 it was closed and used as a granary, but in 1956 it was returned to the faithful and consecrated anew.14 Inside, you can see ancient icons from the early 19th century and the wooden sculpture "Crucifixion", which adds a special spirit and historical value to the place.14
The church is located right by the lake in Miora, so there is a very pleasant nature around and you can combine a visit to the temple with a walk along the embankment and park. Locals and tourists note that it is quiet here, few people, and you can safely enjoy the architecture and atmosphere.46
In general, if you find yourself in the Worlds, be sure to visit this church - it is really worth seeing and feeling the spirit of history and beauty.46

In general, Miory is a wonderful cozy low-rise town, it makes a very pleasant impression: many old houses of the 18th-19th centuries, a wide beautiful embankment and park, a beautiful city center and an outstanding Neo-Gothic red brick church built in the early 19th century.
