For the first time in the chronicle, the church in the town of Uvarovichi was mentioned in 1640.
Since 1832, there has been a stone church in honor of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary with a bell tower with three bells.
In 1932, the temple was destroyed by the authorities.
After the liberation of the district from the Nazi invaders in 1943, a temporary church was opened in the house of Stepan Ryabchinsky.
By the early 2000s, the old wooden church had fallen into disrepair and was rapidly collapsing. It was decided to build a new temple.
In 2008, the foundation of a new church was laid.
In the period from 2010 to 2011, the construction of the temple walls and roof was completed.
In 2012, the interior and exterior decoration of the temple began.

The restored church is located on the site of the former wooden church building. The church itself in Uvarovichi has been mentioned since 1560. The current rector, Father Vadim, is active in public activities, including the telegram channel. We are currently raising funds for the bells.
