We had a vacation with my son in October at Cypress House. I wanted a house in nature with all the amenities and found it. The location is very good, a monastery, a waterfall, a gorgeous area where you can walk. The owner of the house, Almazkhan, met us from the post and escorted us out. I organized wonderful excursions to incredible places, everything took place without a queue and individually, everything was so organized, my son and I were very comfortable and safe. The house where they lived was very cozy and clean. The owner of the house is so customer-oriented, they even provided a local SIM card, all issues were resolved promptly. And we were treated to homemade wine))).
I would write even more about which mountains and waterfalls we went to and where we were, it seems to me that everyone should feel these emotions and impressions in their own and real way.
I heartily recommend this eco-friendly hotel, have a good rest for everyone.

Great location! Right by the monastery! Everything is close, cafes, canteens, attractions!
The house is clean and cozy, with its own attic! There are necessary utensils, a kettle, a microwave! There is a washing machine in the next big house, we used it as needed, an iron! There is a barbecue with firewood nearby, if desired, you can use it!There is always water, without interruptions! I would also like to note that it is quiet here, the birds are singing, the air is fresh! We enjoyed a cup of coffee every morning, and in the evenings we spent cozy time on the veranda 🥰 Cypresses, olive trees, black walnut tree, a huge territory! Responsive host, always in touch with any questions! He took us from our previous vacation spot, which is not a little important, we didn't have to look for it! In general, it is an ideal place for both couples and family and friendly companies!

We had a rest from September 16 to 24, 2024. A hospitable caring host, instant help on all issues, will tell you everything, prompt you, give you the necessary contacts. The location is perfect, between the waterfall and the monastery, among the shady trees. The birds are singing, it's beautiful. We lived in a big house with five people. Three rooms + bathroom + kitchen in the house on the veranda is a separate luxury, cooking and eating outside. Everything is working in the house, air conditioning in all rooms. The house has everything for a comfortable stay. A separate surprise and admiration are the snow-white towels.
I highly recommend it. And we want to do it again👍

amenities and a gorgeous view! The hosts try to help in everything, Almaskhan organizes the most interesting excursions throughout Abkhazia. A piece of our soul is now in this corner of Abkhazia! Nearby is the New Athos Monastery, a cable car, a powerful waterfall with a holy spring, the Anakopian fortress, the ancient cathedral
of St. Simon the Canaanite. We recommend this wonderful place to everyone!

We had a rest with the whole family in this wonderful place! Our house was the largest, with all the amenities. Washing machine, stove and refrigerator, all necessary utensils (pots, pans, plates, etc.). The house is cozy, comfortable mattresses and pillows (which is not a little important)) , working air conditioning! Clean air, there are even animals (the children were delighted, although what to hide, I too): 3 dogs, sheep and a bull) I would like to single out the owner, Almaskhan! Many thanks to him for everything)Responsive, kind and hospitable! he was always in touch with any questions ) gave us a wonderful tour! The sea is clean and warm) The children still remember our trip! I recommend staying in this wonderful place and experiencing it for yourself!)

A paradise for nature and weather lovers. All the aromas of the forest, the singing of birds. The houses are comfortable, especially a large one with a kitchen. Barbecue with firewood. Dishes, furniture, appliances. The water runs perfectly, heats up quickly, lasts for a long time. Great Wi-Fi in a big house. We really liked it, we want to come back!!!

Nice houses, a cypress grove, a large area where sheep and two dogs walk freely! There is a place among the houses where you can roast a barbecue! We called these houses "alone with nature" 😁 be prepared that ants and other insects will live in the house with you, since there are large cracks in the floor. Travelers by car should think carefully before booking houses here, in order to get to them you need to overcome a steep climb, there is no asphalt!!! A clay road with stones! You can drive through the monastery (then there will be a steep descent😆) but you will not find this road the first time) It's a long way to the sea!! We were at the end of April, so it didn't upset us. Beautiful places and attractions are within walking distance. I would like to note the hospitality of the host, met, accommodated, treated with homemade wine!

From the pros: cute, comfortable houses, a la Provence. They stand in the middle of a coniferous forest, perfect air and silence. Within walking distance of a cave, a waterfall, a monastery and Stalin's dacha. Of the minuses: it's too high to climb on foot if you are without personal transport. With a sore back or legs, a so-so promenade. Taxi drivers charge half the price for the lift.

We had a rest in early June. We lived in a wooden house with all amenities: shower, toilet, air conditioning, refrigerator, hair dryer, TV, Wi-Fi. And they didn't regret it! The houses are located in a garden, once planted by monks, under cypresses. There are fruit trees in the garden below. We woke up to the sound of birds singing. Sheep grazed between the houses and two dogs (not small, but friendly) ran around. The owner and his family are sympathetic people, trying to make vacationers feel comfortable. They fulfilled all our wishes. There is a dirt, rather steep road next to the territory. It may be a bit of a climb, but it didn't bother us. The sea is ~ 15 minutes away. We always walked longer, admiring the beauty of the park- flowering trees, lilies in the pool, swans in the pond and the inhabitants of the poultry yard. While living in New Athos, you don't have to go on excursions, there are many attractions nearby. We were very pleased with our stay in this wonderful place and it is important that we lived in a cozy house.

We had a rest in August 2022.
We rented a large and a small house. Everything is fine. The houses are clean, cozy, located in the shade of cypresses (it helps a lot in the heat).
There is an olive garden on site.
The site is conveniently located relative to the infrastructure. Many attractions are within walking distance. We went up to the Anakopian fortress on foot from the very houses.
When hiking, when returning, get ready to overcome the uphill climb (this is only the first time "scary").
The hosts are very friendly people.

Very cozy rooms, with great views and everything you need (linen, hair dryer, microwave, air conditioning in every room, TV, iron, etc.)! The prices are more than acceptable, it is located 3-5 minutes from the temple, hydroelectric power station, waterfall, caves, in general, the location is ideal. the owner of the hotel picked us up at the border and then took us back, as soon as we checked in, he treated us to homemade wine, lemons, and told us everything. The next day, I organized a trip to all the sights of Abkhazia that interest us and showed everything that could be seen along the way. Abkhazia itself gets along with its beauty, but such hospitality only strengthens the impression!!!

We rented two houses in early June 2022
The place is amazing, a cypress Grove, sheep, chickens, a beloved rooster)))
The houses are clean, with fresh minimalistic repairs, there is air conditioning.
Separate words of gratitude to the hosts! Wonderful, friendly, sociable people, helped / helped out more than once (once the owner saved us from a sudden tropical downpour that took us by surprise outside the house ;)
It's not far from the sea, the beaches are improving, the only way back to the house is uphill.
All the sights of New Athos are nearby! In general, this small tourist town has forever fallen in love with itself! We will definitely return to this place and to these hosts!

Excellent location, everything is within walking distance, the most beautiful "Hut on chicken legs" stands in the shade of ancient trees, there is no fuss and noise. Going out onto the balcony of the house, a wonderful view of the sea, fresh air. In the cabin, there is everything you need, wi-fi worked perfectly. Of the disadvantages, there is a lack of hot water, a small volume water heater. For a comfortable stay, guests can add 1. Liquid soap, 2. Bedside table , 3. Wall lamp. But these are all small things, in general everything is fine. Ah, there is Parking, but the house stands on a mountain and the road to the house is difficult))))), we must remember that God is a joker.

We were at the end of October 2019. Nice place. All attractions are within walking distance. The house is spacious. Quiet, cozy. The owner of the house is a pleasant, polite person. There is everything for living, grocery stores nearby, cafes are also full nearby. Outdoor kitchen (on the terrace)- stove, kettle, microwave, dishes. But you need to cut down the threshold on the terrace :))) the little fingers beat everything. And it should be taken into account, if you go, that the house is on a slope, and it will be difficult for an elderly person to climb back and forth.
