The museum is informative and interesting; I recommend it. I had a lot of fun. There is one painting by Minas, a couple of paintings by Saryan and Aivazovsky. It was interesting in the hall where the sculptural busts of famous compatriots were presented, I immediately recognized the characteristic profile of Sos Sargsyan and, of course, Tamanyan, as always outwardly immaculate. From what confused and upset me, the Primer is in Russian and I realized why, being an Armenian, I don't fully understand the Armenian script))

The museum surprises with its content: small, but impressive. I recommend taking tickets to both halls: painting and archeology. The painting is amazing, for such a small museum - Shishkin, 2 canvases by Aivazovsky, gorgeous canvases by Armenian masters, sculptures. The archaeology hall is small, but there are a lot of amazing things. Atmospheric! With love! Fascinating!

A wonderful place with paintings by both famous and national painters. The exhibition is complemented by Soviet sculpture and modern installations. I recommend it for a visit. Very pleasant impressions👍🏻

A good museum, very interesting installations and good guides. It conveys the atmosphere of different eras and centuries, a lot of interesting exhibits, various information and paintings. I especially liked the mini-installations of different houses and buildings, it is clearly visible that they worked painstakingly, and the result is visible to the eye.

A wonderful museum, interesting, diverse. Wonderful unique exhibits and friendly staff. We spent 1.5 hours in the museum. 4000 drams for all expositions for one. It's worth the money. We were without an excursion, but we were very satisfied. We recommend that you definitely visit. Prosperity and all the best to the Museum and staff.

It was 11/24/24. I liked everything very much. 4000 dr one adult + 3000 dr guide. Very beautiful paintings and an impressive archaeological site. Of the cons: there was no water in the toilet and it is sad that the entire central part of the museum roof is leaking.

A very pleasant museum, where wonderful people who are in love with their region work. Not only the anthropological exhibits about everyday life are interesting, but also the art gallery: for example, the works of Armenian artists who lived in France. Special thanks to the guide Tamara Fedorovna, she is just a diamond.

A pointlessly expensive museum with a small and uneven exposition. There are a couple of paintings by Rockwell Kent in the art gallery, one is not too expressive Aivazlvsky, the rest is mostly weak Soviets. In archaeology and ethnography, the trouble is with the label, not a single carpet is signed, the years are not indicated, the purpose of the products is not indicated (archeology). And for all this, 4000 drams. The worst museum in terms of price/quality ratio.

We visited the museum with a guided tour in Russian. The art gallery is very interesting, the works of Aivazovsky are presented. The works of Armenian artists are interesting.
The Museum of Local Lore occupies only one floor, but also contains interesting exhibits.

We were passing through the city, we were impressed by the appearance.We decided to visit this museum. Entrance tickets and an excursion for 5 adults and one 12-year-old child and one 6-year-old to the local history museum (without an art gallery) cost 13,000 DR. We were disappointed.The exposition is very small, the tour is not interesting, everything is very superficial, what you can read yourself on the information stands. The guide could not answer any additional questions. We have not discovered anything new and interesting for ourselves.

An amazing museum! A wonderful guide! An exciting master class! There are so many valuable exhibits in this small museum. Such a collection of paintings! I received a powerful charge and plunged into the history of different eras as much as possible.

The price-quality ratio is not very good. Admission costs AMD 4000 without benefits.
But in general it is interesting: there are many landscapes of Armenia, you can see them and feel the perception of different parts of Armenia by painters of the 19th-21st century, which seemed interesting, 2 seascapes by Aivazovsky, the lower floor - archeology and the life of peasants / nobles of the 18th-19th century, statues. Exhibitions of contemporary art are held.

We liked the part of the exhibition where they talked about the history of Dilijan and a little about Armenia in general. I recommend going. It will take a little time, but it is very useful. The tour was conducted by Tamara, a Russian tour guide.

A wonderful place! Expositions and exhibitions are decorated with great taste! I was with my daughter for 8 years, I really liked the archeology and ethnography floor. Separately, I must say what a sincere staff at the museum! Friendly and well-read people!

The cost is unreasonably high 2000 rubles. The Museum of Local Lore as such is one hall with exhibits, some of which are apparently new. There are no explanations, and stands, a sharp transition from antiquity to the 19th century. Compiled without the slightest attempt to make the exposition interesting. I highly recommend not to visit. Except that the sword smiled)
