There are a historical building with a fascinating beauty, street singers, small shops where you can buy souvenirs and wonderful Turkish tea

it is a historical building that I went to constantly while studying at the university from 1995 to 2001, even back then the tea garden was crowded, and souvenirs unique to Sivas were sold in it. At that time, the parking area in which it was located was greener and more wooded. I think she was much more beautiful that way. As for the history of the structure; From the inscription flowing from three directions just above the crown door, it is understood that the madrasa was built in 1271/1272 by the Ilkhanid Vizier Sahib Şemseddin Mehmet Cüveini. The only original part of the structure that has survived to this day is the magnificent front facade with the highest crown door in Anatolia. The two minarets rising above the crown door have become almost the symbol of Sivas. It is one of the most monumental madrasas built in Anatolia and is also known as Daru'l-hadith. It is a two-storey, four-bay building. The brick minarets on the crown door should be decorated with tile. Taşkapi decorated with floral and geometric motifs and the muqarnas Aprils on the sides have given the structure a moving image. There are fluted half-towers at the corners. It is still in good condition and is open for visits.
