The main thing is that we understood. You can only live in Erciyes with a rented car. In the evening, there's nowhere to even buy water or go anywhere. There are no traditional restaurants. You pay for a person. It was very expensive to have dinner this way at our hotel. We rolled back and went to Kayseri in the evening. It's probably better to live in Kayseri after all. Very slow and long lifts. There wasn't much snow in January of the 25th, so the beginning of the upper east-south trails is all covered in rocks. Sometimes it's even scary. Those zones that are more northward oriented are without stones. The tracks are not too difficult. It is possible for beginners. With the experience, it took us 1.5 days to get everything running. Travel strictly from Monday to Thursday. We got into the whole weekend and had a terrible time with Turkish skiers and snowboarders. There are just so many of them. Lying down in a narrow place to take pictures and chat is in the order of things. Driving a plow along the red highway in a straight line at a speed of 50 kilometers per hour is the norm. In general, there are a lot of inexperienced wheelers. The ambulances are leaving one by one. It's not worth studying there - the instructors are scumbags too. We constantly saw beginners in horror with instructors on steep slopes. But since Monday, there has been practically no one on the slopes all day. 6 days of sunshine - I really liked it. They spend quite a lot of money, but there are small pits. And if it snows at night, they spend it in the morning, not in the evening. In general, I liked it, but there are not enough trails for us.

Everything is organized quite well, the only thing is that there are a lot of rocks on the slope, it's better to take rental skis so that your own ones remain intact. There are a lot of people riding very poorly, but climbing on black tracks.

Super! Trails, organization, rental.. guests... Everything is at the highest level! And most importantly, safety! Medics and evacuation are constantly on the mountain (there was a case, I fell heavily, while I was recovering, a medic was already standing before me! And it's been two minutes at most!)! You can always check the condition of the trails on the official website, the trails are of any choice, and the organization is super!!!

If you used to ski in the Alps, but now you want to see something other than Krasnaya Polyana, then this resort should not be considered as an alternative to them. Everything is pretty sad here in everything from the quality of the lifts to the views. Every year there is less and less snow in Turkey and the beginning of 2024 turned out to be snowless too, so only 2 lower slides worked. Even the locals don't remember the last time they turned on the upper lifts. But, it is worth noting that if 2 slides worked in Erciyes, then other ski resorts in Turkey did not work at all due to the lack of snow.
There are several hotels on the mountain itself and that's it. In the evening, there is nowhere to go at all, and restaurants are very expensive, so I recommend settling in the city. All hotels in the city have a shuttle service to the mountain. It cost 250 lire in ours. In the evening you will be able to walk, shop and eat in different places. And if you decide to go to Cappadocia, it will be clearly closer. It's funny, but the price of a balloon flight in our hotel turned out to be lower than on the Internet.
I also recommend going here on your own, and not on tour, because there are no advantages from the tour. Without a tour, you can rent a car and drive through interesting places

They were from the end of December 2023 to the beginning of January 2024. Only two routes 13 and 11 worked - the main one and the one that if you leave the main one immediately to the left. Of the advantages, I will note: 1) the trails for beginners are the best, 2) there are not a lot of people, or rather the queue for the lift was fast. Minuses: 1) it is unclear how to get there 🤦🏻♂️ the site has information about a bus that only goes on weekends, and nothing else 😠 as a result, we took a minibus Away from the cemetery , 2) there is only one ticket office for skipasses (they are here by the number of ascents) and as a result there is a wild queue, 3) there is no main base normal food outlets, perhaps this is the specifics of the place, then we found nice cafes where the 11th highway is, 4) there were about 2 lifts left on the skipass and decided to replenish it by 7 more, but instead the cashier moved, and instead of 9 it became 7 😡 so we also need to monitor this, 5) the way back, there is no stop 🤷🏻♂️, twice we were lucky to be picked up by a Develi minibus, and twice we returned by taxi, as the minibuses were crowded. I removed two stars only because of transport, or rather its absence, perhaps it is assumed that everyone should come in their own or rented cars, or by taxi. Perhaps we haven 't fully explored this topic 🤷🏻♂️

If there is snow and good weather, then everything is just great! The resort is especially suitable for beginners of snowboarding and downhill skiing. The prices are very pleasant for everything: ski pass, food on the mountain and below, for rent! There aren't many people. Equipment and clothes for skiing can be rented at a very large number of rental shops for quite reasonable money. Everyone is very friendly, the resort has a calm and pleasant atmosphere.

The second time is here. There is little snow in January and February. Lots of sun. There are few hotels on the mountain. The average price is 300-500 euros per day for breakfast. We lived in the city.
It is better not to travel during the holidays. End of January, beginning of February. 2-3 weeks. There are a lot of people.
But in general, you can roll if you have time.

Excellent slopes, excellent views, few people on a weekday, only Russian and Turkish speech is heard. Tourists are brought by buses, as you can go up the mountain on gondolas without skis, take a walk, admire the spectacular views and sit in a cafe. Everything is cheap enough (14 lifts 1000₽), the slopes are in excellent condition, varied in length and steepness, there is a ski school, several rental equipment for every taste, several cafes, clean toilets, large Parking. There are no queues on any lift (February 18-26) everywhere there are tables and benches for a snack, everything is for people.

The dellago Hotel is cheerful, warm, and hearty. Transfer to the ski lifts every 15 minutes. The staff is attentive. There would be snow on the slopes without fog and clouds.
