We rested for two weeks at this hotel, the staff is wonderful, responsive, Elina, Irina the administrator - they will always tell you, solve any questions that arise. The staff are wonderful girls, with a smile and kindness. The breakfast is varied (they will not leave you hungry). The pool is clean, the water is super. There are always towels. There are excellent restaurants,canteens,market,bus stop nearby.

We stayed at this hotel for 10 days from July 9th. I really liked it, nice staff, very friendly and helpful! They were able to settle us earlier, for which special thanks. The room is cozy and clean. A beautiful area with a heated swimming pool, sun beds. The beach is a 12-15 minute walk away. We will definitely be back, thank you!

A very pleasant, modern mini-hotel, brand new, fresh and tidy, with a smiling and pleasant staff.
The service is excellent, and the swans made of towels like in foreign hotels and the availability of slippers just amazed me :)
Of the minuses, I can note a very meager breakfast for an adult, you can't eat enough of it)) Scrambled eggs from one egg and 1 pancake or sausage-as if it were not enough))) Still, breakfast is the most important meal ...
And the location is somewhat remote from the center and the sea (at least 12 minutes on foot to an undeveloped beach, but with crystal clear water), but in general, if you have a car, this is not a problem at all, especially since the distance from the sea is truthfully indicated in the description of the hotel; just being in Gagra for the first time, the map and description can't say much ...
But, nearby is the best grocery store that I met in Gagra, and the best dining room near either an abandoned or burned San sanatorium.
In general, I'm happy! I liked it! I did not expect such a service in Abkhazia, and it made me very happy)
PS And what a gorgeous and well-mannered dog the owners of the hotel have! The most beautiful German Shepherd! As a dog lover, I couldn't help but pay attention :)

I recommend the Gega Hotel! Everything is great! Polite staff. Elina, Irina is at the reception. The girls are in their place, working for people. The rooms are clean. They're cleaning up. They change the bed linen. Any question will not be ignored. The heated pool is a big plus! The only thing I would change is breakfast. That's right!

I am currently vacationing in Abkhazia, the city of Gagra at the Gega Hotel! A very cozy small hotel, but such a pleasant experience! It's clean, comfortable, and has a heated pool! Insanely nice warm pool. It works from 8 to 23, it is very pleasant to sit in the evening and have the opportunity to swim in hot water.
I take off the star for breakfast, a buffet breakfast is announced, but the portions are all calculated, you can't get more than one sausage, the food is monotonous, the choice is not big. And the location is far away, the sea is too far away.
The staff is polite and friendly.
Wi-Fi catches poorly in the territory, there are no problems in the room. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I'll be back again

We had a rest in June 2024. I really liked the hotel! Heated bassik, from which you can see the mountains! It takes 10 minutes to get to the sea at a brisk pace. There are shops and cafes nearby. The room is clean, in good condition, a little small, really, but we took it for a "sleepover"... It is very pleasant to communicate with the staff, friendly people! Well, the breakfasts were surprised by the variety: Thanks to the local chefs for the delicious food in the morning!

Check-in time at the hotel is 14:00. Comfort room with balcony,middle segment. The balcony is of course one name-the console will be more correct. There is an ashtray on it and so in every room and even between the sun beds by the pool!
Be ready to inhale the aromas of smoke when someone smokes!
The receptionist met us not at all a friendly girl, but she should!after all, the position obliges! I was immediately warned that they had lights out at 23:00, it was funny to hear that, because I did not come to the camp😃 When I asked if I could pay for an early check-in, I was answered, and here it was shown on a printout standing on the counter, as if it was not clear the first time. But, as Elina probably thought herself, she did us a great favor by allowing us to leave our things at the reception and go to change clothes, not at all in human and not at all sanitary conditions, to the laundress. At the same time, someone constantly looks into this laundress to get clean towels for the pool.
The next day, I witnessed a blatant and unfair, in my opinion, situation when I went to breakfast in the morning and on the way back to the room, I saw newly arrived guests-a couple. They were met by another administrator, Irina. Passing by, I heard the standard phrase for me, check-in at 14:00. There wasn't even 9 o'clock!! Then I heard something like that, that you don't give me away... and so on and so on. Naturally, I went back and approaching the reception, I saw the cherished room keys from the new guests!! It's just p...!! That is, a woman with things and a child of 5 years old, you send her for a walk in the heat for 4 hours, but here you are!
Next by number. I'll describe it right away. It was important for me to have a comfortable stay so that the eye would be happy! And I'm ready to pay for it! And the room was not the cheapest category. What do I see?
A dirty bathroom, a jolt in the shit, the walls are covered in vomit, there is no shelf above the sink, only traces of it, a dirty door, one lamp out of two is lit, cracks in the shower. And to all this, the administrator responds, it is a sealant. Well, you're funny in general! There is a gap at the bottom of the front door, as if it is not an entrance door, but an interior door. Because of what draughts when the balcony is open and when the door to the next room is opened, it seems that they are breaking into yours.
No bathrobe! It is 500₽ more expensive in the room than spare pillows without pillowcases. Tired curtains that cannot be completely pushed apart, there will be cracks on the sides. The tulle is solid, which is very inconvenient, every time you go out on the balcony, you had to lift it up and pick up dust from the dirty floor, or move it, but it moves badly. Wallpaper with traces of dead mosquitoes, dirty floor, a stashed package from previous guests. And all this was supposedly cleaned up before our arrival!
There is no water for the guests. Take the fumigator with you! The safe is not working.
Breakfast. Ohhh that's something. The breakfast is not a buffet. They do not impose on you everything that you paid for, but only what you say, but at the same time they will look at you like that, expecting that you will say enough, i.e. you will get less than you should, but how else!they need to feed their staff and at your expense, of course! You can't take it out. Out of 5 days, we ate more than 2 and seeing that I was ill, we were allowed to take it to the room.
Of course, I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. The only plus is the air conditioner and the pool, nothing else! The sea is far away. It's better to pay a little extra and stay in the same aquamarine. The sea is close there too.
If you arrive in September or later, keep in mind that there is a school nearby and you will listen to all the screams coming from there.
And about the bathroom. The administration is aware, because when I asked this question, why is there dirt in the room? I was asked, in the bathroom? Well, you know, and be sure to read the reviews! I read it, but I didn't pay attention to the fact that the cleanliness rating of this hotel is low!
For example, we stayed in Tsandrypsh, the hotel is 3 times cheaper! But it's clean!
And here it's stupid to spit on tourists!

1) the toilet stinks of mold / dampness, probably from the sewer, because ventilation did not help.
2) the toilet door is sagging and jamming, making noise when rubbing against the tile.
3) the mattress is cheap, soft, my back aches, I couldn't sleep properly. The pillows are also creepy, they couldn't buy normal ones.
4) you have to walk from the hotel through a ditch)) I don't want to go around the block for 10 minutes, consider that this is the only road to the sea and the city. the road is filled with a puddle, you have to hold on to the mesh fence with your hands and walk like that for 4 meters))) And everyone walks like that, everyone is fine, no one will think of falling asleep
I liked the pool, the music, and the beautiful lighting in the evening.

The breakfasts are delicious, the service is normal, cleaned according to the schedule once every three days. the location is convenient, there is a bus stop nearby. I liked the pool conveniently and when I was too lazy to go to the beach, we lay there. I recommend staying at this hotel.

-: service (For 7 days /6 nights, we were cleaned once - a day after arrival. Then the cleaning left us forever :) they didn't even take out the trash. Soap accessories were not updated, apparently it was assumed that one standard bag of shower gel should be enough for a week (which is not possible).
There are no coolers with drinking water on the floors. Locals drink tap water, but it is not suitable for everyone.
As a result, we bought bottled water every day.
The beach is dirty and far from the hotel. Also, in the descriptions of the rooms they write "sea view", there is rather a view "towards the sea", because it is far away - the 3rd line is approximately.
Bottom line: if you don't use the local beach, then more or less. It is easier to get to the central beaches of Gagra (5 minutes by minibus, 50₽) - both cleaner and more beautiful, and equipped with a fresh water shower.

There is a disgusting smell all around, it is unbearable for a non-smoker to be in a stuffy, stinking and suffocating space with the smell of cigarette smoke.

We stayed at this hotel with a company of two families. We arrived by car, Parking on site, friendly staff, always help, prompt. Clean, cozy rooms. Delicious breakfasts, different to choose from every day. The pool is warm, there are many sun loungers and places where you can relax. Barbecue area, you can roast meat. They were forced to pay a fine of 500 rubles, they practice this, when they saw a watermelon stain on their wife, she also threatened with a staff. Perhaps there is no washing machine in the hotel?
At the reception, they do not write down a loan for a room, not even a bottle of water. I had to go to the 4th floor for 30 rubles. Funny.
But the breakfasts are very tasty, varied and nutritious. A clean swimming pool. It is quiet and cozy in the territory.
