An impressive place.
There are almost no people in December.
Be sure to go up to the second level to the cave with amazing acoustics. And sing something, even if you don't really know how🤌🏻
And be sure to go behind the monastery to the picturesque bridge over the mountain stream.
The children took care of all the Gigard 's cats 😂
There are a lot of them there!

A great place, the views both inside and outside are impressive. The road from Yerevan is about an hour, dead in places, do not drive.
On the way, I recommend visiting the Charents Arch, the Garni Temple and the Symphony of Stones.
