We were a family during the trip on the recommendation (my wife read it somewhere). A very pleasant and atmospheric place in the center of Polotsk. At the entrance, they meet, help, undress, you can hand over an umbrella (it was very useful to us, we got into the rain that day). The staff is helpful. An interesting interior, muted calm music was playing. We were satisfied with the cuisine, not oversaturated, but quite diverse menu - for almost every taste. The return of the dishes during our visit is quite fast. It is worth noting that the institution was about half full. I took a fireman's cutlet with mashed potatoes, my son - spaghetti, my wife - pancakes. Everything was cooked very tasty and it felt like the dishes were not heated, but "under the knife" (only cooked). We plan to visit Polotsk in the summer in the future, without a doubt this restaurant will be on the list!!!

The restaurant is still one of the best in the city. The service is excellent. The waiters are very friendly and helpful. Each visitor is offered clean water, regardless of the order. Used napkins are removed "before you know it".... The dishes are delicious, they taste like home, or even better. They prepare quickly, you don't have to sit and wait for an hour. Draniki and beef cheeks are my special love in this establishment. And the dessert is pistachio!!! Clean, tidy, the price tag is affordable (but not cheap, of course). If it were possible to put 10 stars, then I would put all 10 in all parameters.

The restaurant is still one of the best I've ever been to! The service is excellent: the waiters are friendly, attentive, everything is brought quickly, without unnecessary reminders.
Food is a separate delight! The dishes are prepared quickly, and you don't have to wait long. Desserts are also beyond praise.

We were in the restaurant twice passing through. (We returned on purpose for the second time)we liked everything so much. The kitchen is great! The portions are large. (It is for the restaurant quite)) we tried both the Belarusian menu and the classic one, everything is very tasty!!! The horseradish deserves special praise.
The service is impeccable.

Grimberg is something simple, uninteresting, run-of-the-mill like everything Carlsberg does, and so is Cronenburg, only it's also a beer drink with juice. Yesterday we visited the Grand Pub for the first time on the advice of friends. After reading the reviews about this institution, we couldn't help but leave our own. A wonderful place for our city!!! Attentive courteous staff, cozy rooms, cleanliness, very tasty dishes, for which special thanks to the cook, all the dishes just melted in our mouth, we took ribs in honey sauce and meat plateaus. Separately, I would like to mention a variety of liqueurs and crusty bread on stones with various spreads. A nice bonus was a birthday cake from the establishment, which was presented by a cute waiter girl. I would like to pay tribute to the fact that the table was always tidy and with filled glasses, thanks to her and her pleasant young colleague. We will definitely visit again, and hopefully more than once. We wish the whole team prosperity and success!

We were with my husband and daughter for the first time on 08.03.2020. I booked a table through Instagram. Very convenient. They called me back, clarified, and confirmed the order. Outerwear is removed at the reception, and a number is given. I liked the interior, nice sofas, a little too low for my height, but comfortable. Everything is designed to match the building. There were three of us, so we tried an impressive number of dishes). I am glad that there is such an institution where it is about eating, and not about having a snack! Next, about the food is solely my opinion! This does not in the least affect the wonderful impression of the food and the desire to return! The food is really good, high-quality, thoughtful and in a modern trend. The chef's salted salmon salad is delicious, but the berry sauce is too much for my taste. Hummus is delicious, which is amazing for me with shrimp). The shrimps are wonderful! But hummus is very tender, I would add cumin, but I understand that the spice is not in demand in our region). The meat is fried as ordered! There was a glitch on the hot one. She asked me to make veal without mushrooms. The sauce was replaced, but there was a mountain of mushrooms on the veal! I'm not allergic to mushrooms, I just don't like them very much)! But for someone it can be vital! The girl who took the order seemed to say that there were no mushrooms, so it was strange that the mushrooms were on my plate after all. The grilled hot cheese was delicious. The kataifi shrimps are delicious, and so is the spaghetti. Desserts and wine are good)! Shall we go back? Absolutely! So far, this is the only institution in Polotsk-Novopolotsk where we really plan to return. Thanks to the chef for his imagination, for the search, for the fact that you can just eat in comfort and care! Thanks to all the staff!

The dishes are expensive and very small.
We were served by a nice and respectful girl and everything seemed to be fine, but when the girl left and a guy named Maxim came to her place. And so he immediately began to be rude and treated us in every possible way disrespectfully, to the point that he almost started kicking us out of the restaurant, and all because he saw that the girl had eaten her candy and because of this he made a scandal saying you can't eat your candy. It's just terrible what kind of respect. And it was seen and heard how other employees of the restaurant giggled and discussed us around the corner, which made it even more unpleasant to be there. Then we asked for the bill and left. We don't set foot in this restaurant anymore.

Let's be honest. Today, among so many leisure facilities related to public catering and fine cuisine, there are few that can rightfully be proud of their purpose and have the right to afford it. Among the leaders of the HoReCa sector in Polotsk, there is no doubt that there is a restaurant, the highest level of service, and a Grand Pub.
How does he differ from his other "brothers" in nutrition? Firstly, the special atmosphere from the entrance to the exit, secondly, the convenience from the wardrobe and the restroom (which I am definitely delighted with) to the table, the accuracy and punctuality of serving dishes, gentle, attentive service, a wide range of dishes, drink and wine lists, highly professional staff of the cook staff – all this, combined, only a small part of those ideal sensations that deserve special attention. It's so delicious and beautiful, in our city, only Voichenko, Shemit and the Grand Pub can feed.
As for the pricing policy, before judging it, it is necessary to take into account the fact that units of cafes and restaurants have the opportunity to hire and train staff at the "premium class" service level. Why will they go to the Grand Pub? Because every ruble spent and the guest's expectations are justified and compensated.
My appreciation is high not only for the dishes, but also for their presentation, for welcoming the guests, and for the sincerity of the joy of this meeting, for the desire to serve and offset the anticipation of a conflict situation.
I wish the rest of you to grow, follow the example of the best, do not hesitate to admit your mistakes and be ready to change.

Wonderful meeting, attentive service, the cuisine is beyond praise. An establishment for sophisticated and discerning guests. I definitely recommend it. The check for dinner for three was in the range of 100 €. The staff rightly deserves a tip.

I was at a friend's wedding in April 2024.
➕Advantages:
atmospheric,
friendly staff,
very tasty (beef cheeks, mashed potatoes and artichoke in the photo),
beautiful,
live music (the girl performed) is wonderful,
the dance floor is taken out to the bar room, you can watch dancing from TV screens if you don't dance.
Cons:
the hall where we were sitting is located almost as soon as the door opens, so it was cold on the back,
the music was not according to the atmosphere, we actually danced willingly only to live music.
I would have come again.

The first pancake was a lump, because they spent more than an hour on a business lunch due to slow service (this is not what you expect from a business lunch, agree).
We went for the second time today, a couple of years later. They had already ordered from the main menu, so the waiting time was justified.
Among the advantages are free water, polite and competent waiters, fairly prompt service, delicious food.
Of the minuses, there are minor flaws - the bread was brought after we ate the salads, and then only after a reminder (I don't know why, but this is a problem in almost all establishments - everyone constantly forgets about bread everywhere). There are no photos of the dishes. For example, cheesecake in liquid form - it was beyond our imagination at all, and would not have been ordered if we had known this nuance in advance. It tastes fine, but the consistency is not what was expected.
In general, the deserved 4 stars. I think if you go here several times and decide which of the menus you like, then the place will only please you in the end.
Addendum dated 11/30/2024. Surprisingly, this is the only institution in our area, the impressions of which improve with each of my visits here. We were at a business lunch yesterday. There's nothing to complain about this time. The waiters are great, the choice is excellent, the dishes are all delicious. The bread is warm, the butter is warmed on the stones. The serving is beautiful, not simplified, as many do for business lunches. In general, today I already give 5 stars and, hopefully, the institution will continue to keep the brand.

You need to book strongly in advance. If, of course, you really want to come here. You can see that you have invested in the interior. It is unclear why. The menu has a pretension to metropolitan polish, in fact, everything is very modest. Both in terms of quality and volume. The bartenders are calmly telling tall tales about beer. Passing off the products of the Leeds brewery as Belgian and Irish beer. There is no normal, even local, beer. The atmosphere is extremely dreary, the music is like in an elevator in a hotel. The prices apparently include interior expenses. They are unreasonably high. Not a foot in here!

The prices are absolutely consistent with the level of the institution. It's a very beautiful pitch. It's a very pretentious place. We were in the lunch area on a weekday. There is enough space. Nice interior. The staff is polite and courteous. The dishes are beautifully decorated. The salad "Green " is delicious. The ribs are almost meat-free, lard and bones, but the sauce is very tasty. Baked potatoes, as if they were just warmed up with meat - no... The steak was beautifully sprinkled with coarse salt, which is absolutely inedible. It tastes absolutely bland, the sauce to it is very fatty, mayonnaise. Moldovan homemade wine is delicious, for an amateur. The bread was brought beautifully, on the stones, slightly toasted.
The prices, of course, are not for the average wallet. But we hoped it would pay off with taste. In vain. I didn't like anything except the salad.
Minuses:
- we waited for the waiter for 10 minutes, although the halls were almost empty, the workers were busy communicating with each
other - they waited a long time for the dishes. Salad -35 minutes , meat - 50. Bread - even longer, until they reminded the waitress three times.
- It's expensive. Two salads, steak, ribs and half a glass of wine each - a little more than 83 rubles.
I do not recommend it.
There are places in the city where you can eat delicious and with a larger company for this amount.

We were on Monday evening - not the busiest time.
I would like to immediately note the water supply during landing (not all metropolitan establishments will see this).
Wonderful cuisine, everything is delicious: from sweet potatoes and seafood soup to ordinary pancakes and solyanka. At prices, everyone can afford food and drinks. The cocktail list is fascinating, and the variety of dishes is extremely pleasing.
The service is excellent, the food is served quickly, the hostesses and waiters are polite, intelligent, but not arrogant. As soon as a used napkin appears on the table, it is immediately picked up by attentive waiters, empty plates and glasses do not stay on the table for a long time.
There are several simple halls decorated in a neutral style, the restaurant is convenient, it's a pity there is no summer track.

We bought into 5.0, but the portions are very small.
I ordered beef cheeks for 28 and seafood soup for 23. I was hungry.
The soup contains 2 shrimp exactly and 4 squid rings. Everything fit into one spoon - see the photo. It's too spicy, although I like it spicy. I ate the grounds in a minute and gave the waiter a plate with a reddish liquid and my indignation.
The cheeks are soft towards the middle closer. The portions are very small. And not only is there not enough meat. But there are two spoons of mashed potatoes. In the photo you will see the green sauce. If you notice him, of course.
Advice - do not order expensive dishes. The cook doesn't seem to know how much they cost.
P.S. beer, as well as dessert and pate from my wife are normal. But the wife was upset by the potatoes in an expensive salad, admittedly, but unexpectedly.
Repairs, waiters, etc. are normal. It seems that the institution has hope. But judging by the hyped reviews on 5 - I think it will be like in the program of chef Ivlev, where he saves restaurants. I not only think, but also hope. Because the bill is coming, and I'm scared to watch it. After all, I still need money to satisfy my hunger.

There are no questions about food, it is delicious, elegant. However, when visiting, the service in terms of attitude towards guests leaves an unpleasant aftertaste. They immediately asked for softer seats, they knew that there were sofas from Instagram, but the hostess said that there were places only in the form of chairs. From the entrance, empty sofas in the next room were immediately visible, and as we waited for the dishes, we watched how people without armor were immediately put in that hall. And upon boarding, they handed out only a lunch menu and a mini-list of additional dishes of Belarusian cuisine, without the main menu and a bar card, I had to ask the waiter for an additional service. It was unpleasant, although it seemed that in such a place the emphasis was on service and service of guests without prejudice (P.S. The rules of visiting the restaurant were not violated).
