A magnificent monument of 15th century Ottoman architecture. It includes a mausoleum and a building for pilgrims. The walls are covered with greenish colored tiles from the inside, hence the name. Wonderful marble carvings. The mosque is located on an elevation above the city center, with a great view from the site. The climb to it is steep, but not long.

The mosque is beautiful and unusual. Keep in mind that this is a place of pilgrimage - there are a lot of locals, especially on weekends.
