A chic restaurant (I attributed this place to a restaurant, not a cafe). We were here two years ago, we really liked it. We visited Minsk again this year, and went to Grunwald for breakfast the first morning. Everything is very tasty, the interior is excellent, the menu is huge and clear, the prices are not cosmic, the staff is friendly and friendly. The waiter replied, "now instead of berries there is an orange," a slice of which was on the plate.
There were 9 of us, the claim for dishes is only for croissants.

No one came to take the order for 30 minutes, although half of the tables were empty and there was no workload. I called the waiters three times, they promised to come up, but alas. As a result, I ordered a Rib Eye steak with pepper sauce for 42 rubles and pancakes. The waiter did not even specify the degree of roasting, but I myself clarified that medium roasting is required.
Half an hour later, rib eye steak was served. The meat is stringy. Roasting is somewhere between almost fried and the sole. A naturally cheap barbecue from Komarovka. I also killed the "pepper" sauce - stupidly mayonnaise with onions. It looks like what's left of the barbecue marinade. On the side dish - potatoes a la embers. Absolutely the worst steak of my life.
The pancakes were also half-baked.

We were a big company and everyone paid for themselves. They refused to make a separate check for each client, so everyone paid for their meals and drinks according to a common check. As a result, it turned out that the bill included dishes that no one ordered or those that were ordered once were included twice. The excess was about 50 rubles, more than 15% of the invoice amount! Considering the reaction of the waiter and reading the reviews of other visitors, it becomes clear that the shortfall of visitors in this institution is not an accident.

Yes, we were not mistaken, the waiter, as it should be in a normal restaurant, warned about the long serving of hot dishes at the time of ordering and we ordered that one did not look at the other with hungry eyes, for salad and hot and drinks with a reserve. The hot stuff was waited for about an hour. I'm shooting a star, because in restaurants of this class there can't be the phrase "we have a small kitchen and a big landing, we don't have time to cook." But the food is delicious, the interior is cozy, the waiters are courteous and professional. But I still recommend this restaurant, you just have to take into account that you will be waiting a long time.

It's terrible!!! I booked a table two weeks before the visit. We arrived 15 minutes early. Reluctantly, they met us and showed us where the table was located, at which we could supposedly have dinner. Inside, the smell of cigarettes is all over the restaurant (if you can call it that). We waited (on the street) for our time. but!!! Then the horror. We sat down and waited for the menu to be brought to us. After 15 minutes, no one came up to us like that. We got up ourselves and got acquainted with what we can order. We were with the children! Everyone is tired after a walk, very hungry. After waiting another 15 minutes, we hoped that they would come to us to take the order. We called, approached the waiters, but they did not notice us. After waiting for a total of 30 minutes, they got up, left hungry and upset. No one even said goodbye to us. Unfortunately, there were no available tables in nearby restaurants. I do NOT recommend this place, especially if you are with children.

Until recently, this place was quite pleasant - simple, no frills, but convenient Parking, fast service, low prices, clear menu... and sometimes you make a choice in the direction of this institution. But yesterday, after visiting the Grunwald Cafe, we left after 3 minutes. In addition to the fact that it is infernally smoked (the Laws of the Republic of Belarus do not decree them?), in principle, the smell in the institution is simply disgusting, it is impossible to be there! Are the hoods clogged or is it already from old age? Everything around absorbed the smells of fat, food and garlic - as if he had entered the shelter's flophouse. Of course, the institution will have its own client - it seems to have frozen in the 90s and some will even feel comfortable)). There are no complaints about the staff - they try to be polite and attentive, although not all are trained. Maybe one day we will visit the summer terrace in the season, but never inside!

We went there after a walking tour of the sights of the Upper Town, the restaurant is located near the church of St. Simeon and Elena. The interior inside is made in a medieval style, very cool. Naturally, we tried the local pancakes, they are extremely tasty! We also tasted hot, cherry tincture and local beer, everything is very tasty, also with large portions! The waiting time was optimal, the dishes were hot, and the prices for the center of the capital were quite acceptable. We were delighted, and if we have to recommend a place to eat in Minsk to our friends, it will be 100% Grunwald!
