This place was like a restaurant, so the review only concerns food and service. The service is friendly, the place itself is cozy. Now about the cons. When ordering, we emphasized that we try some dishes specifically in order to decide for ourselves whether to purchase them as a souvenir or not. It was important to us. As a result, the Gata (much has been heard about it) turned out to be dry, nails can be nailed with a piece, the dough is definitely old, crumbled when trying to cut, the taste is appropriate. Chicken kebab is store-bought minced meat, dense, elastic, and not chopped meat. Khinkali - the dough is thick, there is a void inside and a small piece of minced meat. I understand that sometimes chefs are not very eager to save money on products (compote diluted quite strongly to a state where the taste of berries is not felt), but we paid for lunch like in an expensive restaurant. We were hoping to try real Armenian cuisine, but we got an expensive disappointment. I do not advise, it is better to look for a less touristic place for lunch

We were there in the summer of 2018. We rode bicycles in Armenia. The impressions are only positive. The places there are extraordinary. There are many hiking trails, ancient temples. They received us superbly, fed us well and tasty. There are local sweet cakes in that area - I don't remember the name, it's a local landmark, be sure to find and try it. Further across Armenia, they only vaguely resemble Geghard's...
