A wonderful museum! It's very cozy and there are a lot of artifacts. Yes, there is no point in going without a tour if you do not know the history of the city. Our amazing guide Alexander spoke with great love about the most famous houses, with good humor and high inclusiveness. A very versatile person, in addition to the material of the tour, easily answered related questions. We advise you to go on an excursion with Alexander! It's a miracle! Greetings from the small Ural town of Lysva) And greater St. Petersburg!

It's a very interesting museum. We took a tour guide. I had a very informative tour for more than 1 hour. Therefore, I highly recommend visiting the museum with a guide. Perhaps, I think, take care of ordering it in advance. This way you will learn a lot of interesting things about the history of Berast and beyond.

The museum is very interesting and you have to walk there all day to get around it. And even with Smirnov's book, in order to understand clearly what and how. A big minus for the museum is that they start the tour not from the gate in the form of a star, but at the citadel, which kills the whole

Beautiful building, cozy atmosphere. An interesting collection. Visited before the end of work: there is no guide, tablets and interactive are disabled. Without a guide - the usual set of documents and artifacts.

An old beautiful building. But nothing was clear to us. Some projects are in the Belarusian language. Some kind of beating. It's good that later we had a city tour, where the guide told us about this building and that some old valuable Bible is stored in the basement of this building, and a copy of it is in the museum. I don't see any point in visiting the museum on my own without an excursion. And they don't do an excursion there

Definitely worth a visit. A very inexpensive, but very interesting tour in the Belarusian language, you can listen to it. We were very lucky to get there at the end of a tourist trip to the city of Brest. The visit to this museum left only positive impressions. Many thanks to the museum guide. It is clear that a person loves and knows his job. Be sure to visit, you won't regret it.

We were at the museum on the morning of July 16. A small but very interesting and beautiful museum. The young man, the guide (sorry, we didn't ask your name), told everything perfectly in Belarusian, with jokes and a good mood :) Thank you very much for the excellent completion of your trip to the city of Brest!
(Dear tourists, if you do not know the Belarusian language, which is the official language in our country, then you should not treat the museum staff and the exhibits with anger)

The museum is small. There is no audio guide, no guide either (there may be one, but we were told that he was on the road in the city), the inscriptions are only in Belarusian. This, of course, did not bother us, but guests from neighboring countries will have a hard time. And it should be borne in mind that the payment of tickets is only in cash. It feels like you've been to a school museum(

1 star for the staff.
It says on the door they work until 18, they run into the hall until 17:15. I arrived at 17:10 and was told that it was closed. Although I met the deadline. When he asked why it was closed, if I managed even with a margin, then they didn't even raise their heads from the phones to my question and kept silent, frowning, saying that you want to say and go away, and we'll sit in the phones. I went to Brest hundreds of kilometers away and this attitude leaves a fat dark imprint on the journey. You can't do that

I really liked the place. A cute museum that tells about the history of the city. If you want to learn something about the city, but do not want to go to dozens of museums, it is enough to visit it (although it is better to go to museums). The museum is located in a district full of Polish architecture.

There is no sadder story than our visit to this museum, or rather, not a visit. We were advised to go to it, we came , Saturday, Aug 20. the door is open and no one is there. A little later , a woman appeared , came in from the street with apples and announced without any greeting - 5 rubles . After clarification , it turned out - only in cash . For my 20 rubles , it turned out that there was no change and the question / that is, we will not be able to get to the museum ? An empty cash register was shown and no further response was received . She didn 't get up from her chair . I didn 't look for change , I didn 't offer anything . After all , if we were offered an excursion , maybe we wouldn 't have to look for change . In general , for his rather rich experience of traveling and visiting museums , this is an absolute indifferent rudeness for the first time . And the museum is not private, but public. Apparently , very good financing , since they are not interested in visitors .

The museum is absolutely not interested in tourists. On the website and on the sign at the entrance it is indicated that it is open until 18.00. However, when visiting, we were told that today it is until 17.00. Why? - they didn't explain it.
But in principle, 15 minutes will be enough for you to inspect. Two floors in the history of the city. Half of the plates with exhibits are in Belarusian. The number of expansions is not large. You can somehow connect them logically.
Payment for the visit is in cash only.
I definitely do not recommend a visit. You are not expected there.

The museum is quite small, but pleasant. If it weren't for the gloomy grymza at the entrance, nothing would spoil the experience.... It is a pity that it is not possible to take a tour, although such an option is provided: they say you need to make an appointment in advance.
