Delicious breakfast, friendly staff, and they checked me in even earlier than expected. I especially want to highlight the work of the receptionist, Regaip Erdoğan, who is always ready to help and solve any problem.

A wonderful hotel in this price category!
Convenient location close to all the sights of the city (hippodrome, ayaisofia, basilica, tram stop in 4 min.walking).
The friendly administrator Erdogan, brewed delicious Turkish coffee for my husband and me).
Our room was standard with a view of the courtyard. The bed is comfortable, the bed linen is clean and white. The room is cleaned daily with a change of towels.
Breakfast was monotonous (boiled eggs, olives, cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, watermelon, greens, simite, there were onion rings and tubes with cottage cheese) but we did not stay hungry.
I recommend this hotel!

We went to Istanbul in May. We had both unpleasant and positive experiences at this hotel.
I'll start with the pros:
Convenient location. Beautiful interior. Good staff. Delicious breakfasts. Comfortable rooms.
Minuses:
Overbooking occurred (by the way, it was not the fault of the hotel. The tour agent was to blame), and we almost missed the plane (also the fault of the tour agent).

We spent a week in this hotel, we liked everything, there is something to compare it with, believe me, we have been traveling for twenty years already... Good location, tram up the hill 200m., to all the nearest attractions Blue Mosque, Topkapi, etc. 800m, at every step cafes, restaurants, shops ..., a large bazaar with clothes 400m.!! The street is really industrial, the movement of shoe dealers, etc., but this is during the day when we walk!!! In the evening, the usual Turkish traffic. But it gives some color of its own... Family room, clean, everything worked, slippers, shampoos, etc. Water in the refrigerator. The restaurant is located on the ground floor, but this is inherent in all tau hotels standing nearby and for this the most common breakfasts, eggs, fries, sausages, sausage, a bunch of cheeses, jams, etc. Did not go hungry, the staff is stupid, ready to help in any matter! We lived on the ground floor, windows facing the courtyard, but taking into account that we only saw the night there)) it was normal for us! You need to understand that this is Istanbul, and this is found almost everywhere here, there is certainly a view of the Bosphorus, but this is a completely different money. If we get together again, then definitely for consideration!!!

It is very well located, in the center, close to the tram line and the mosque.
A towel, slippers, shower sets - everything was there, but it almost didn't foam, it didn't smell. Very cheap, apparently.
The room is cleaned regularly.
I didn't find any more plus points.
Upon check-in, they were given one key. Room - on the 1st floor next to the reception (102)- Double Standard. 100% audibility of everything that happens in the lobby: phone calls, arrival of guests, elevator, descents for breakfast, etc.
The windows looked out into the inner well: ventilation systems could be heard, etc.
The room is very dirty, the walls, pillowcases are dirty, pillows and towels are all yellow. See the photo.
The sconces in the room did not work. There was an air conditioner, but it was impossible to control the modes.
The staff is not friendly.
Breakfast is meager, there is nothing hot, there are no pastries. Some eggs, cheeses of different types and olives. The breakfast area is dirty, battered by life. All the jams, cheeses, butters, soiled in each other, as if they had been taken out of the plates and put back out.
I definitely do not recommend the hotel! There is no smell of 3* here.

Old Ottoman chic, but for a little money
I liked it:
Wi-Fi – right off the bat, almost at the reception.
The hotel is finishing renovation, so everything is extremely new. The scope and taste is taken on the old Ottoman chic, but for little money.
The underwear is also new and fresh. There are even disposable slippers.
The bed is a double bed, not two shifted single beds.
The equipment of the rooms is mostly ergonomic and correct: with the presence of cabinets, hangers, bedside tables, banquettes, but the washbasin is extremely small and there were not enough stoppers for the doors.
There are a lot of outlets. There are as many as 6 of them in a room of 11 m2, not counting switches. Therefore, it is not difficult to recharge at the same time, even with a large pile of equipment.
TV was present: I turned on the news a couple of times and something like the local "Russian (Turkey) Travel Guide", which took the most attention, because there was really something to see..
I liked the breakfasts. I frankly don't like Turkish sausage products, boiled egg too, as I adore half–boiled, but the omelet definitely worked for the cooks of "Agan" - gently, gently, satisfying. Cucumbers-tomatoes, raisins-muesli and some other Turkish fruits-sweets unknown to me were present. Coffee-cocoa was in several forms, except that I didn't notice tea. But fried (not fried in Russian, namely fried in Turkish) potatoes are a fantastically useful thing, especially before long and long walks to nearby and very distant attractions.
Located close (3 minutes walk) from the Gulkhane tram stop, as well as Gulkhane Park itself, Topkapi Palaces, St. Irene, St. Sophia, Sultanahmet, Galata Bridge. Therefore, it is convenient for independent walks in the most ancient part of Constantinople with arrival on the "Atatürk Havalimani" and departure from it.
...
Did not like it
Laundry is stored in the corridor near the pantry, and not in it – this is incorrect management.

We stayed for one night. The hotel is not bad. It's probably worth the money.
The room itself is very decent, nice big bed, good repair, cozy. Toilet/shower for three. There is absolutely nowhere to put or put even toothbrushes. Dirty ceiling, dirty glass, traces of mold in the corners. But good water pressure and even hot water flows without problems.
The location is good from the point of view of walking distance, but taking a taxi is a whole problem - there are solid traffic jams around during the day and many streets are blocked.
Bottom line: from the point of view of purely spending the night for a few days, you can safely take it. If it's for a week or more to have a nice rest, it's better to look at something else, in more pleasant (non-historical) areas.

Very convenient location with the main tourist attractions of Istanbul. It stands on the border of the area of hotels and shoe shops, where it is almost not noisy at night, but during the day there is a lot of life. The rooms are clean, and cleaning is carried out daily. I stayed at the hotel alone for 5 nights. They gave a room on the 1st floor next to the reception (room 101), in the room there is a double bed, a table, a bedside table, a chair and a wardrobe next to a mini-bar. The view was on the wall, but it didn't bother me, I even liked that the curtains could not be closed. Good water pressure in the shower, all accessories, slippers, 2 sets of towels (I don't know why the second one is for 1 person). The breakfasts are ordinary, I had enough. On the very first evening, I had a problem with the safe, it closed and did not open, the administrator, who was at the reception at that moment, could not solve this problem himself, but said that his friend, who would come at 23.00, would help me (communicated through an interpreter), I had to wait, I was nervous, Of course. I advise everyone to check the operation of the safe first before putting all valuables and money there (I did not have such problems before).
The rest of the days everything was fine, the staff was friendly, polite, especially the receptionist, who speaks a little Russian (did not ask for a name). I bought a SIM card from them, it stopped working a day later, it was replaced without any problems.
The room was clean. Very comfortable bed, pillows, clean bed linen.
One of the disadvantages of my room was the fact that it was located next to the reception, sometimes I woke up at night from the noise (hotel guests returning at night or checking in).

The hotel is located on a street where shoes are sold everywhere, there is a constant feeling of Cherkizon around.
The design of the hotel makes an impression when the designer overdid it with creating an antique effect. The hotel has a clean bed, but dirty curtains, a tired shower.
Water was brought and cleaned daily.
It's not worth paying for breakfast- it's disgusting.
With all the disadvantages, there is one big plus: the hotel is very close to the sights. I managed to return to the hotel in the afternoon, take a break from the heat and go enjoy the city again.
This is a very budget hotel for unassuming travelers.

A small hotel, conveniently located in the very center, near the tram, the main attractions are within walking distance. The staff does not speak English well, I advise you to use the translator application in Turkish. I asked for thread and change (to weigh the suitcase), everything was provided. A hotel employee helped to register an Istambulcard (I advise everyone to use it, urban transport is very developed). There is no refrigerator in the room, there is only a mini-bar. The breakfasts are simple, but better than nothing. From what I didn't like, they brought us to the hotel at about 21:00, an elderly employee was doing prayer right at the hotel, there was no one else, we were sitting from a distance when he finished. The woman paid for a room for one, sat for a long time waiting for the number to be found

⭐️⭐️⭐️The hotel is small, family-friendly, with 6 rooms on the floor. The rooms are very small so that there are no illusions, about 3 * 3 m a room with 2 beds, a TV, 2 cabinets and a refrigerator! The bathroom and toilet are quite normal size, everything is simple, clean and cozy! The blanket on the bed is so soothing and gentle that you fall asleep instantly! The staff is friendly but unhurried! Cleaning the room is done very imperceptibly, you come and only by the added shampoos and New towels do you realize that someone came! The beds were not changed, and they were not made.
The breakfasts, they were and that's not bad! Very modest: eggs, serving plates with vegetables and cheeses, bread and sausages or French fries, tea, coffee and muesli with milk! Traditionally, honey, chocolate paste and jam. It was enough for us to last until lunch. Keep in mind that the staff is very unhurried and do everything very slowly!!! But the location is good relative to the attractions and the grand bazaar

The hotel itself is normal. Clean, cozy, they give you as much water as you ask for, without restrictions. The breakfast is delicious, but there is too much cheese, you have to eat cheese and cheese and every day is the same.
And the location is not very good, you go out and there are a lot of wholesale shoe stores, these boxes, packages, but after some 150 meters it's already beautiful, normal streets. And all the sights are nearby. We walked around everything for 3-4 days. In general, for their price, you can probably tolerate this garbage, or maybe you should overpay a little and that would be a normal view from the window

The location is just great. Sofia, Topkapi and Grand Bazaar are just around the corner (5-7 minutes). The rooms are clean but small. The bathroom has all the accessories (shampoo, gel, soap), which is a pretty nice bonus. Do not expect a view from the room, the Windows overlook the street and the construction site. Of the cons: this is a center of tourism, prices bite in cafes, but if you search or go, swim to more local areas, then you can survive. Well, no one canceled the 20lr ekmek on the bylyk bridge. We flew to Istanbul on a burning ticket, we chose what was cheaper. I was seduced by the price and location. The first thing that alerted me when we arrived was the area, it feels like some kind of wholesale base, where there are piles of garbage, like in the market... The hotel is really very simple, they gave a room on the ground floor with a view of the wall and the construction site. The room is very small, almost the entire room occupies 3 beds and a table. TV, toilet, shower, by the way, I was very pleased with the water pressure in the shower, the backlight is good, in principle we thought that everything was just fine, until we figured out that Wi-Fi was not working in the room (you need to go to the lobby and sit there), there is no noise insulation in the room, from the word forever! Everything that happens on the street, in the corridor, on the upper and even on the lower floor is audible. THAT'S IT! We couldn't sleep a single normal night... The breakfasts are normal, of course not exclusive, but you can eat. I was upset that there was no kettle in the room, I really wanted to get off the plane, but even in the lobby they didn't give us boiling water, they said wait for the morning.... Of course, I don't know what the prices of other hotels are, but they are in this area at every turn, point your finger at any house, it will definitely turn out to be a hotel, you can find something better for the same money.... I would not return to this hotel for anything, even though they write good reviews here .... Noise insulation solves a lot for me.

The advantage of this hotel is only in the location. Terrible staff, stayed at the hotel from 12/29/2021-01/5/2022, never changed the linen, and there was never a cleaning. Initially dirty yellow bed linen, and the same towels. They asked to change it - they brought the same ones. In any case, do not check into a room on the 1st floor, there is a complete lack of sound insulation, the whole life of the reception will be in your room. Also the hostess, a middle-aged man with a terrible incessant cough. The view from the window to the kitchen room is an additional noise. The recommendation is to avoid the hotel.
