What can I say... the first impression is very disgusting! We chose a hotel or a guest house based on reviews on Booking.com . According to reviews, it seems to be good, the location, the transfer, good photos. But this is only on the website. And it seems that bad reviews are simply deleted. We managed to communicate with the guests and many had a negative attitude towards this guest house. So there was a couple from the Moscow region, after living there for 3 days, decided to change their place of residence. The view from the window is depressing. From one side and the other there is a view of a densely built construction site.
In general, about the main thing. We called the hotel owner in advance. We were warned about an early arrival, he replied that there were no problems, we would check in. There is a transfer (but only from 6.00 am as it turned out, and if earlier, then 3600 rubles). For reference on the Yandex.taxi application from the airport to the checkpoint Psou – 690r. And if there is a taxi phone from Abkhazia, then the cost is 800 rubles. The bombers at the border are asking for 1500 rubles.
The plane arrived in Sochi at 2.20 am, respectively, we were at the place around 4 am. The weather was also unlucky, there was a torrential downpour and there was still no light, even if there was an eye. By the way, turning off the lights from 2.00 am to 5.00 am is the NORM!
Thank God the door to the hotel was open. Going inside by the light of a mobile flashlight, there is no one at the reception. As it turned out, the hostess had not been warned about our early visit and she was sleeping peacefully in one of the rooms. And WHY NOT LEAVE the PHONE NUMBER of the HOSTESS or make a call of some kind???
The owner was called silence. By 9.30 the owner showed up himself and called back to the phone number of his wife, with a claim why they call him so early and bother him at all… And he had already forgotten about all the arrangements and barked at his wife with obscenities... it's a pity he called me… And previously, when we agreed, there was the very courtesy and benevolence…
The deposit was well paid when booking in 2000 rubles. Of course, no one returned the prepayment. And after such rudeness and a "warm welcome" there was no desire to stay. And the mood is spoiled on the first day. If we had arrived at a different time, in the morning or afternoon, we might have been lucky… The stars must have come together like that…
We called up with friends, they gave us contacts with whom we can stay. We were quickly picked up by the host, picked up and placed. Thanks to them!
By the way, there is no Wi-Fi, it's easier to give birth…
And the owner of the MAMSYR hotel wants to say that he is a boor that he has never seen before. With this attitude, he may last for some time. As they say: - The earth is full of rumors....
Do not risk choosing the MAMSYR hotel, there are many more options!!!

After reading all the negative reviews, we chose this hotel. The owner called back, we made an advance payment. We arrived in Sochi at 2.30 am. I asked the owner (Alyas) if it would be possible to check in early in the morning or if we could come later. Alyas said that this was not a problem, he would check in earlier, without any additional payment. We arrived at 4.00 a.m. Electricity in Abkhazia is turned off at night. It was pouring rain, absolute darkness. No one answered my phone calls. We sat in the hallway on the stairs until 8:00. Then people began to come out, then a female administrator appeared. She was not aware of our check-in. And closer to 9.00, Alyas called me and in a boorish tone, started yelling at me that I dared to call him at 4.00, that he was the owner and did not have to remember the time of my arrival. That I was shocked is not the right word. The Internet did not work, it is difficult to find something else. I called Moscow and my friend was looking for a place to live through friends. Two hours later, we left for another place. But the rest was ruined. There was no one to talk about the refund of the advance. The conclusion is this: plan your vacation so that the locals do not cause trouble.

The rooms in the hotel are not bad, there are amenities in the form of air conditioning, TV, refrigerator. Towels and toilet paper are also provided (very low quality) and you can use the kitchen (all necessary utensils are available). The room itself is clean, but it smells strongly of dampness. You will also be strongly advised not to open the windows if you live on the 1st floor, as theft is often a phenomenon. The location is convenient, within walking distance of both cafes and the beach.
And the most important thing that I would like to mention is the work of the staff. That's just terrible. The administrator has no idea about cultural and polite communication and also does not shy away from using profanity when talking to residents. We arrived late at night, and the next morning we were attacked because we did not pay for our accommodation immediately upon arrival, although there was no one at the hotel at that time. It also turned out to be a very unpleasant situation due to the fact that due to family circumstances we could not live the entire booked period (we lived 4 days out of 10). Of course, we had to pay for all the days, including those that we did not actually stay at this hotel (the owner argued that he was not warned (although we warned him 4 days before departure) and lost revenue at the height of the season. He did not want to meet in person to discuss this). In total, about 8 thousand were overpaid. On the 5th day, we were persistently escorted out of the hotel due to the fact that other guests were already going to our room (although I remind you that it was paid for 10 days). In general, this whole story pretty much ruined the rest and it didn't cost 2 thousand per day. So I do not recommend this hotel for accommodation.
