**The Marc Chagall House Museum** in Vitebsk is a magical immersion into the world of the great artist! The house where Chagall spent his childhood years has preserved the comfort and atmosphere of the early 20th century: antique furniture, personal belongings of the family and reproductions of the master's works are transferred to the era of his first creative searches. The memorial part is especially impressive — it seems as if Chagall himself had just gone out into the garden for inspiration. The exhibition tells about the Vitebsk period of the artist's life, his connection with his hometown, and temporary exhibitions complement the history with rare artifacts. The museum staff are enthusiasts who lovingly share biographical details and interesting facts. Be sure to take a walk in the quiet courtyard with an apple orchard — there is a special poetic aura here. This place is not just a museum, but a living source of inspiration for everyone who appreciates art and history. A must-visit in Vitebsk! 🌟✨

The guide, a very nice girl, had an interesting sightseeing tour of all the rooms of the house. She talked about each photo, everyday object and an important time milestone in the life of Marc Chagall. As promised, it was completed in exactly 30 minutes, which indicates the professionalism of the employee. The staff of the house are extremely cultured, polite and smiling, which creates a pleasant atmosphere of home comfort. There is also a gorgeous cat on the museum grounds. The grace and important look of which leaves no doubt in determining who is the boss in the house))). Tickets are inexpensive, you can pay by card. I recommend you to visit.

I am delighted with the well-groomed care of the museum, the reverent attitude of the staff to the work and the period of life in Vitebsk of the great artist. There are only three rooms, there are a lot of people to visit the museum, excursions are going on in parallel, the staff understands this and gives everyone the opportunity to visit the museum. People traveled far and wide for this .... Well-groomed territory, caught a glimpse of the fascinating story of the guide, the pavement of convex stones near the house. The impression is that you are at the beginning of the 20th century, here, next to the artist, you just came to visit.... There is a shop of good souvenirs

A wonderful museum. An interesting and informative tour. Mainly graphic works are presented. There are practically no originals, but this does not spoil the impression at all. Thanks to the creators of the museum. I recommend you to visit, especially if you don't know much about the artist. It will be interesting and informative. Perhaps you will take a different look at the life and work of M. Chagall.

A museum that is worth a visit to all those who come to the city of Vitebsk. The wonderful atmosphere, the charming voice of the guide, during the story you immerse yourself in the times of pre-revolutionary Vitebsk, the capitals of Europe, New York...The story of the Great love of Marc Chagall and his beloved beauty Bella touches the strings of the soul and makes us believe in a happy future for every listener. Many thanks to the curator of the house museum!

An interesting, small, but very cozy house museum, where Chagall spent his childhood and youth. It's worth a visit, the museum staff are very hospitable and helpful. On the street where it stands, some buildings of the same era, when the artist lived there, have been preserved.

The place is quite popular with tourists. The house itself is in good condition, the territory is well maintained. But! There is NOT A SINGLE Chagall painting in the ARTIST's house-museum. Even reproductions! The exhibition includes only furniture, household items and photographs. A few sketches are too few to understand and feel the scale of such a Master's talent.

The house of the artist's parents has been restored. With interiors close to his time, a guided tour of the house museum is interesting and inexpensive. In the courtyard there are piles of paving stones of that time and a monument to Chagall. Parking across the street, a small souvenir shop.

The story of the life and work of the greatest artist is amazing. But it is very poorly represented in Vitebsk. A minimum of souvenirs, the laziness of the staff surprised. But Marc Chagall adored his Vitebsk, missed it, aspired. I've set aside a special day to enjoy, to feel. And there are 3 rooms, a minimum of information. The sadness.

The museum is quite modest, much more interesting with a guide. The exposition is small, there are not many exhibits, so it's better to provide comments, at least with an audio tour.

A wonderful miniature museum - very cute, "lamp-like" and "doll-like". There is a cash register and a souvenir shop in a separate house nearby. It is better to go around the museum with a guided tour, which will be conducted even for 2 people. Unfortunately, there is not a single authentic work of Chagall in the museum-only copies.

The museum is quite small, the exposition is represented by lithographs. But what a wonderful film they show about the artist's life and work. When my friend and I found out that the movie was 45 minutes long, we decided that we would watch it for 15 minutes and move on. But we watched it from beginning to end in one go! On the second floor there is an exhibition of paintings by contemporary artists.

I liked the museum. Keep in mind, this is a memorial museum about the life of the Chagall family. This is his parents' house. Although there are few memorial exhibits. (Due to the fact that Belarus was under occupation). But the guide's story is very interesting. Even though we were familiar with the artist's life, we learned a lot of interesting facts. There are no paintings here. The paintings are in the art center (in another building), you need to get to it.

We came with a friend without a tour at first, then joined the group. It's a pretty interesting place, and it's nice and interesting to communicate with the staff, the team is young, the guys with bright eyes, and the buzz. Before or after the museum house, you can also go to the synagogue on the next street, the immersion will be more voluminous.

A beautiful small house-museum of an unusual artist. It gives a picture of the life and everyday life of a family in old Vitebsk. Household utensils, furniture and dishes of that time are very much loved by me and resemble my grandmother's apartment with treasured antiques. Numerous photographs tell about the artist himself and about his family and friends. A very nice and cozy nest!!!)))) it becomes clear why the characters of Marc Chagall's paintings so often seem to fly out of the nest, rush up and soar over the city.))))

The museum is a chamber museum, very small. Literally for 2-3 rooms. The exposition of one of the rooms is a photo of different stages of the artist's life. But the organization of the visit has not been thought out at all. 2-3 tourist buses are packed at the same time. The caretakers are pushing so that the crowds don't turn into a stampede. There is a monument to the artist in the courtyard

The Marc Chagall Dpi Museum is like an illustration from a book by Sholom Aleichem. It seems like in a moment the music from the musical "Fiddler on the Roof" will start playing. The great Marc Chagall lived in this small, poor, but very cozy house. Many thanks to the guide for the interesting story!

An ambiguous place. Yes, you will come here anyway, but try not to do it on holidays and weekends, when there are so many tourists here that the guides frankly burn out. I think they talk much more interestingly on weekdays than when they have wave after wave of groups of 40-50 people

A small homely museum gives an idea of the Vitebsk period of M. Chagall's life (who, it turns out, was named Moses) and tells a little about the artist's entire life path. I highly recommend contacting the museum in advance to book a tour, without which you will see the exhibits of the museum in 10 minutes. But with a guide, you will really like the museum!

A small house museum carries its life through the centuries, passing on a piece of the history of human existence. Nearby there is a ticket office and a souvenir shop where you can buy commemorative postcards, magnets and many other interesting things from the capital and Vitebsk. The price tag for souvenirs is not high here. I recommend it to anyone who is interested in the story. The guides are wonderful, they tell interesting stories and I want to listen to them.

A journey into the world of Marc Chagall: Opening the doors to the past 🎨 Location: Vitebsk, Pokrovskaya street, 11 General impressions: Visiting Vitebsk and not looking at a place associated with Marc Chagall is a kind of tourist crime. This world-famous artist and his biography deserve special attention. Location and accessibility: 🗺️ Location: The museum is located a little away from the center and the main central attractions, but it is not difficult to get to it. You can take an inexpensive taxi, public transport or take a walk from the city center. Environment: The museum is located in an authentic place where the historical environment is preserved, so you can immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the years when Marc Chagall lived. Exposition and atmosphere: 🏠 House: The museum presents an exposition in Marc Chagall's own brick house. Unfortunately, no authentic things of the artist have been preserved inside. However, thanks to the Marc Chagall Foundation and his relatives, various household items of his family are on display. 🖼️ Exposition: The museum is small and intimate, as the house itself is small. According to the guide, it was a pretty big house for that time. The exposition is interesting to visit and allows you to feel peace. Disadvantages and problems: 🚫 Maladaptation: The museum is not adapted for people with limited mobility. The wheelchair cannot pass, but it is possible to climb on crutches. Service: The employee of the ticket office was extremely rude, rudely answered basic questions about the cost of tickets and the content of the exposition. This slightly spoiled the impression of the visit. Positive points: 👩🏫 Excursion: The caretakers of the museum house itself were very sociable and cheerful. They took us through the exposition, showed us everything and told us, creating the feeling that we were on a real tour. Thank you so much for this! 🌳 Territory: Well-groomed territory, a beautiful garden with benches where you can sit, relax and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of those times when the great creator lived here. Final assessment and recommendation: In general, a visit to the Marc Chagall House museum left a pleasant impression, despite some shortcomings. We recommend: 🎨 For anyone who is interested in the life and work of Marc Chagall. For those who want to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of historical Vitebsk. We do not recommend: 🚫 To sedentary people. People with disabilities due to lack of adaptation. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5
