They brought glasses to replace the nose guards, and it all ended sadly.
The promised 15 minutes magically turned into an hour, and when it was time to pick up the glasses, we were surprised to find an ugly picture: random scratches of varying depths appeared on the lenses. The master began to deny his guilt: "I didn't pay attention. Maybe the lenses were scratched before me, I couldn't see anything," etc. No answer was given to the question of how the master ignored the lenses during an hour of twisting and turning the glasses in his hands.
The glasses "master" "fixed" for my girlfriend. I still don't understand how this man didn't have the courage to admit his guilt. I talked to him, and I spoke without any aggression, except that I was annoyed for an understandable reason, while the girl was crying quietly with her favorite pair of glasses in her hands.
In order to compensate for the "moral" damage, as the so-called master put it, we were offered to make a key for free or return 15 rubles, which gave this story, and our evening as a whole, a completely disgusting shade.
It happened a couple of months ago. One of the nose guards broke this morning. Together we remembered this wonderful man from this wonderful workshop and took the glasses for repair again, but to another workshop and to another master, who told us that the thread in the nose guard was broken and needed to be soldered.
And one last funny story.:
After a conversation with the "master" on the day of the "repair", we found a certain amount of money on the way to the subway. While I was running after passers-by and asking if anyone had lost the money, a confused Ksyusha, who was standing in the middle of the sidewalk with the find, was approached by a guy who turned out to be the very guy we were looking for.
This man confessed that he was the one who lost the money, and to prove it, he offered to call his uncle, who gave him the money. It turned out that our master turned out to be the same uncle. Fortunately or unfortunately, Ksyusha decided to teach our "master" a lesson in justice, so the money was successfully returned to the owner, which I once again regretted today.
