A great, even the best place for a budget vacation. Do you want to eat a good meal, sleep well, and even get some treatment? Then here you are!
The staff is very friendly and helpful. A beautiful building, almost in the colonial style
But there are a few nuances:
- I would like the gym to work, at least physical therapy;
- I was in October, when it started to get a little colder and I can note that the heating was not always there. It was a little chilly, but we were given an electric motor after the first mention that it was cold
- the bar is quite expensive, but the bartender is always ready to arrange a tour of the surrounding area for you at an affordable competitive price;
Let everything look not as presentable as in expensive hotels in the neighborhood, but the level of comfort, service and food is definitely not worse, and maybe even better. + The richest selection of medical procedures.

An ideal place for residents of large cities who are tired of the noise and a large number of people. The sanatorium is located in the mountains, 2000 above sea level. The territory is well maintained, the rooms are perfectly clean. The medical building is equipped with modern equipment, the staff is polite, responsive, the number of procedures is unlimited. The restaurant deserves a separate ode! For 10 days, the chef and his team surprised with the abundance and quality of the prepared dishes. Special thanks to the owner of the sanatorium! From morning to late evening, he personally supervised the work of all the staff, asked the vacationers if everything was fine with them, if they were satisfied with everything, what was missing? In this unique place, it feels like they were waiting for you here and all the conditions for rest and treatment are created just for you. In terms of price and quality, I think it is one of the best sanatoriums in Armenia. Renovated building, magnificent rooms with high ceilings. The building itself is a masterpiece of architecture. The room has a huge bed, a kettle with tea, a refrigerator, a large bathroom with new plumbing. Three meals a day for slaughter, a lot of free medical procedures that do not need to be begged for, but which you are happy to be prescribed.
But the main value of the sanatorium is its staff - friendly, responsive, smiling. The main boss is constantly on the territory, so everything is in order. It's just like home here.
The distance from the center is relative - to the spring with mineral water 15 minutes on foot along a scenic road (see the screenshot with the route). The very lazy are taken by minibus three times a day to a watering hole). I travel a lot, but it's really cool here, I recommend it to everyone.

Having twenty years of experience in managing a large tour operator company, which included the department of medical tourism, and being a co-author of a collection of medical tours at balneological resorts in Italy, I want to comment on the three-week treatment at the sanatorium "Jermurk-Moscow" in Armenia from a professional position. I understand the difficulty of combining the administrative apparatus and the medical base to meet the demanding needs of clients, since I have repeatedly encountered this myself. I can say with confidence that this tandem in the sanatorium is impeccable.
Treatment here is based on the use of modern medical equipment and the unique composition of the natural mineral water "Jermuk". This combination gives excellent results. I personally witnessed the transformation of one grandmother who came to the sanatorium. Supported on both sides by her grandson and granddaughter, she got out of the car, and with difficulty, leaning on a stick, reached the reception desk. Two weeks later, she was getting into a taxi without help. And the wand, it seemed to me, served as a familiar attribute, which it was a pity to part with.
I will no longer be distracted by other people's achievements, but will talk about my own, or rather about my own and my wife's. It was for the sake of my wife that we bought www on the sanatorium's website. jermukmoscow.com two vouchers are relatively inexpensive, paying for them in rubles, which is an additional bonus in conditions of financial uncertainty. I won't go into medical diagnoses, but Inna really felt very unwell. Every morning began with the fact that I rubbed her legs and back with various ointments. After spending about a week in Moscow, we got sanatorium and resort cards, although, as it turned out on the spot, it was possible to do with test statements.
Regardless of where you plan to live, study or receive medical treatment in Armenia, your stay in the country begins at Zvartnots airport. Trains to this country stopped running with the collapse of the Soviet Union, steamships never went for lack of sea, and the option to spend two days on a bus crossing, even at a low cost of up to ten thousand rubles, was not considered from the word "at all". By the end of 2024, several Armenian airlines and three and a half Russian airlines – UTair, Ural Airlines and Aeroflot - fly to Yerevan from Moscow. As a half, I add Azimuth, which flies only three times a week and has very poor lateness statistics. After reading horror films about Armenian carriers on the Internet, we began to choose from three Russian ones, deleting the "half-hearted" Azimuth from the search. UTair and Ural Airlines have one problem – night departures and, accordingly, arrivals (flight time is approximately 3.5 hours). Therefore, Aeroflot, the great and mighty, is out of competition, despite the higher prices.
Since we arrived in early December, there were very few vacationers in the sanatorium. For sure, the administration would have liked more, but it was just right for us. There are no queues at the procedures, and the doctor prescribed procedures with the words: "Let me think about it, maybe I can offer something else." I'm not sure that this is possible during peak season, but it's nothing more than my guess, so if you go in the summer, tweet in the comments.
I'll tell you about the first reception. The chief physician, Hasmik Georgievna Sarkisyan, is a combination of professionalism and goodwill. She studied our spa maps for a long time, made some notes for herself, and only after that began a detailed conversation. As a result, we received sanatorium books – a pass to the world of medical procedures. Their daily number averages from 10 to 15, so the first half of the day, and maybe even a little more, is completely devoted to treatment.
The expression "the king is played by the retinue" for any sanatorium will be perfectly appropriate. After all, treatment is determined not only by the quality and quantity of procedures, but also by the attitude of the medical staff. Without any fawning, I can say that at Jermurk-Moscow, all nurses, without exception, are courtesy itself. But I would especially like to highlight the senior nurse Varduhi Oganesyan. Any questions that vacationers addressed to her about treatment were resolved very quickly.
Treatment is treatment, but lunch is on schedule. And breakfast and dinner. Hats off to Chef Levon Levonian. The buffet always had four types of first courses, several second courses and countless snacks. As for the quality, if it were up to me, I would shower Levon with all the Michelin stars at once for the incomparable cooking. Unfortunately, the coffee in the restaurant was present only in a soluble form, which does not meet my standards of consumption at all. The way out was found in the bar, where the bartender Manvel will prepare any coffee you want. Prices are more than moderate, although they are growing before our eyes. But there is no fault of Manvel in this – the ruble exchange rate to the dram is constantly decreasing, and if at the beginning of the year it was 4.5 drams per ruble, then in December it sometimes fell to 3.4.
Careful room cleaning was carried out daily, which may not be so surprising. But towels were also changed daily, and after a day or two - bathrobes. I've only seen this in five-star hotels, and then not always.
As I have already written, the treatment takes the entire first half of the day. But there is also a second one. Many people use their free time to explore the local attractions, of which there are many. I will focus on one – the waterfall "Mermaid Hair". Listen to the advice – do not take a car, walk 1.5 km along a narrow path and enjoy the majestic mountain peaks coming at you from two sides. And when you finally see the flying jets of water that burst into the open from an invisible height, they will be perceived absolutely fabulously and in complete harmony with the name of the waterfall.
The disadvantage of the sanatorium, which is found in the reviews, as a comparative distance from the drinking gallery, in my opinion, is very controversial. Firstly, this is compensated by the fact that patients are taken to the springs by minibus 3 times a day, and the journey takes only a few minutes. But it seems to me that it is much better and more expedient for health to take fifteen-minute walks on foot, combining the useful with the pleasant. That's exactly what we did most of the time.
Concluding my narration, I want to express my great gratitude to Vaga, the manager of the sanatorium "Jermurk-Moscow". For everything – for giving me a free transfer from the airport, for putting me in a room of a higher category and for being just a great guy who solved all the issues that were addressed to him. Moreover, if the first two bonuses can be attributed to the off-season, availability of rooms and our relatively long stay, then you can appreciate his charm and business qualities at any time of the year.
P.S. I almost forgot the most important thing. My wife no longer complains of constant pain, and my morning touches to her are of a completely different nature. But that's a completely different story.

A wonderful place and a professional team.There are many different procedures, everything is clean and tidy. the rooms were cleaned daily, there are bathrobes and slippers. 3 meals a day, delicious, both Armenian and European cuisine. (not having your own baking is a minus). Good quality Wi-Fi. They take you to the gallery with mineral water , 15-20 minutes on foot through the park. transfer from the sanatorium. everyone is ready to help and solve your questions. the only drawback: the territory is equipped only from the main entrance, there are no outdoor sports areas, and I would like an area with sunbeds. In general, I liked everything very much!

A wonderful place, three meals a day, medical attention, an unusually peaceful climate and the beauty around. Adult vacationers (there are no small screaming children whom I love, but not on vacation))) There is no entertainment, but it is a place for relaxation, unity with nature. On the first day, I just slept for almost a day, that's what a wonderful air here! And, of course, mineral water, which can be reached, or you can get there, since the sanatorium organizes a "minibus" three times a day. And there is also a transfer from Yerevan, be sure to use it, because a taxi will be more expensive. Buffet in the restaurant, the only disadvantage is the lack of coffee, but this is a sanatorium)))

A cool sanatorium. I really liked it. The suite is gorgeous. 3.5 m ceiling height. We were at the end of April. There are no people at all. Everything is for us! Attention, kitchen, procedures. It is not located in the center, but there is a transfer to the pump room with water of different temperatures. The food is varied. Boiled eggs, fried eggs, scramble, porridge, vegetables for breakfast, soups, chicken, fish for lunch. Fruit:apples, kiwis, bananas, grapefruit, oranges, tangerines. Drinks. In general, there is something to eat. Great.

If you are a little over 30, then sanatoriums are already beginning to beckon, and I am also learning English and now I know that this is not just a sanatorium but a resort-spa hotel - and so, all the more tempting.
I have been buying Jermuk mineral water for a long time, and here is such an opportunity to visit the town itself.
And, of course, we parked in Jermuk-Moscow.
The first sanatorium built here. In the best traditions of Stalinist classicism - columns, high ceilings, lots of light and air.
The bus carries three times a day to drink water from the pump room, take mineral baths, even irrigate the gums with healing water (here, if desired, everything can be irrigated with it), massage, mud, salt cave, mountain air, three meals a day - I have never been so healthy.
And also - a delight for the eyes - the Jermuk waterfall.
And all this for 4 thousand from the nose. My recommendation is 👌

We had a vacation with a friend from August 29 to September 7, 2022. Excellent value for money. Excellent medical staff. There are many procedures that are released seven days a week. A varied buffet, lots of vegetables and fruits. The owner of the sanatorium personally checks the staff every day, very caring and friendly, all problems were solved instantly, the rooms are clean, daily cleaning, linen and mattresses of good quality. Among the disadvantages - there is no Internet in the rooms, the territory is equipped only at the main entrance. I would like to have a place to relax outdoors, hammocks, sunbeds. A sports ground with exercise equipment would also be very useful. In general, we recommend a sanatorium for treatment and recreation, we wish you development and prosperity!

A huge room with a terrace and mountain views. Room cleaning every day, bathrobes according to size (my height is 193). Very tasty and hearty food. At least get drunk on Jermuk! Attentive staff. I didn't have to pay anything extra.

I do not recommend this sanatorium. On the 3rd day of our arrival, a military conflict began on the border, shells began to fall near our sanatorium. The management of the sanatorium left us to our fate, all the staff left, and we were left without help. The neighboring sanatorium provided its guests with transportation and paid money for unused rest days. My friends and I miraculously managed to find a transport and leave. To this day, the sanatorium does not return money, does not respond to letters (there was a correspondence, but when it came to a refund, they stopped responding to us).
When reclining in such situations, avoid this institution.

Jermuk is a great place for a relaxing holiday, there are many hotel buildings that were built in Soviet times, but with good repairs, some have beautiful pools and baths, a beautiful area with Christmas trees, healing water that flows around the clock. I liked the fanicular, there is a place where you can take skis, sleds and ski suits, the slopes are not covered with snow now, but the views are excellent, the mountains are very beautiful. We were fed at the Moscow hotel very tasty at home and abundantly. There is medical care, modern equipment, massage for money. There is no cultural program, no concerts, no performances, nothing. Nature, skiing, food, it's wonderful. The road from Yerevan to Jermuk is almost 200 km, but very beautiful. It must be great here in summer. There is an extraordinary waterfall.

Sanatoriums in MOSCOW-found on the Internet. We were accepted for the first time as if we were regular customers. We must pay tribute to the head of the sanatorium-the Owner with a capital letter. The service staff is at the highest level. Why not apply, they will always explain and help you. Doctors are professionals in their field. The whole team speaks Russian. Everyone understood each other. Well, about nutrition - a separate conversation. The chef is the nicest person. Benevolence and a smile are always with him. Accordingly, the food is above all praise. We had a rest with a friend at the Armenia Jermuk sanatorium in January 2019! Our journey began with the fact that friends of our acquaintances met us at the airport and so we first visited a large, friendly, extremely hospitable Armenian family! In the evening we reached the small resort town of Jermuk! This is a fairy tale that can be seen this year in the central strip only in the picture. Mountains, sun, snow, everything sparkles from frost (-15 at night, -5 during the day) and from Christmas decorations! It is impossible to convey all our impressions and emotions from the medical staff, meals, excursions, it is all necessary to see and experience! We have traveled through Crimea, the Caucasus, Sochi, European cities, and we have something to compare it with. If you have not yet decided where to spend your holidays, weekends, vacations, feel free to buy a ticket to Yerevan, just call the hotel in advance and book a room, you can pay on the spot. We wish the hotel prosperity and will definitely come back again!
