An amazing waterfall located in the canyon of the Arpa River. The waterfall's jets resemble the hair of a mermaid, and a number of local stories and legends are associated with it. The embankment of the Arpa River is very beautifully landscaped, we recommend going through it all and climbing the iron staircase that leads to the Jermuk Spa hotel.

A beautiful waterfall, which is reached by different roads: you can take a mountain path through the descent at the Ani hotel, you can take a long highway that starts behind the Jermuk Moscow hotel. Both paths are comfortable, because they lead down.
The most difficult thing is the way up through the stairs (405 steps), which is further than the waterfall: a steep climb and a railing on only one side.

If you want to walk, go down the stairs from the hotel, it's picturesque there. You can climb back to the city through the arch

The waterfall itself is very beautiful. But the descent to it is a whole adventure. We were driven by a local driver, and it was scary. And from the parking lot, we still had to walk along the fence from behind which the dogs jumped out and tried to bark at us.
We were at the end of November and already before sunset, it's cold outside. The overall impression has deteriorated a little.

Very beautiful in April! There are almost no people. We took a taxi from the gallery for about 2000 drams. You can walk, but the road is narrow, exactly the width of one car, pedestrians are clearly uncomfortable there, especially on sharp turns.

A beautiful waterfall. You can go further, walk along a good path as if through a forest. To the left of the waterfall, very good photos are obtained)

The tourist attraction is a mediocre point of interest and there are sellers nearby who deceive naive tourists.
The path to the waterfall goes along a narrow footpath, along which there are shops and vendors.
We came across an unscrupulous seller who just heated us up on our ignorance of fruit prices.
We bought apricots at a price 10 times more expensive than they cost in a supermarket 30km from this place. We found out about it already at the supermarket.
Moreover, they sold them with obvious deception, saying that they were from a distant region of Armenia (at the end of August, the apricot season really passes), blabbing additionally.
Moreover, as in the old days, they also put bad apricots in a bag.
The citizens of Armenia should be ashamed of such representatives of their people. You need to earn money from tourism, but not in this way.

A very beautiful waterfall, I think, is the most beautiful place in Jermuk. A good place for photos.
Of the disadvantages, in summer the waterfall was completely overgrown with hogweed in the upper part, which somewhat spoiled the view and gave the impression of unkemptness.
Otherwise, it is definitely worth a visit if you are nearby

A very pleasant place, a noisy rolling waterfall with a height difference of about 50 meters, excellent photos
