The park is very clean, spacious, lots of greenery and flowers. It's a pleasure to come for a walk. Independence Park, a good idea with a description of the periods and events associated with this period. But everything is in Kazakh. I really wanted to read the whole story, but unfortunately I couldn't. There are 2 official languages in the country, so why is Russian ignored?

Well-groomed flowers, shrubs, trees and crumbling architectural compositions: "Baytershym" with a broken balustrade and broken bas-reliefs, cracked steles with achievements of 20 years of independence, rusting pyramids of unknown purpose, an uncomprehending and dried fountain. In winter, you have to be very careful - at the central entrance and on the bridge to Ordabasy there are areas covered with unrealistically slippery tiles. There are few people, so there is practically no infrastructure, no cafe, no toilet in sight. It is very interesting to hear the wind howling in chains on high steles near the flag. Beautiful view of the city from the alley above the cliff to the road and the Koshkarat. The rotunda gazebos, surprisingly intact and clean, connect the past and the present...

The park is not the same as it was 7-8 years ago. 3/4 of the bulbs are lit in the lanterns, the bas-reliefs of the Friendship of Peoples were removed on the Bayterek, sealing all this with tiles, and crookedly and not beautifully. There is only one parody left of the fountain. But it is worth noting that the lawns and flowers are well maintained and watered. The trees are trimmed and, in general, there are pleasant sensations from the park. It is especially pleasant to sit on comfortable benches near the fountain in the evening. There is a place to go out with the children to get some air, enjoy the coolness but after sunset.
