There is an ancient village of Kamany 17 km from the capital of Abkhazia, Sukhum. There are three shrines on this fertile land. It's a beautiful place. A secluded, small temple that is easy to get around from the outside in a minute. You can sit on a bench nearby and think about your own or admire the beauty of the mountains and the ancient walls. We got from Sukhum by taxi, the cost there and back with a short wait of 1300 rubles.

It's not a well-groomed place, in my opinion the monastery is being restored nearby, something is delayed, not very clean, something is lying there, a blue water barrel - they barely found an angle to take a picture. And when we were leaving, we met a dog, well, so ragged and dirty with sad eyes… There is no sense of sanctity and prayer in this place. View from the observation deck of the destroyed building. We do not recommend spending time visiting this place.
