We bought a tour to the Charyn Canyon from the Guide Andrey. We got a mountain of emotions. We left early in the morning, and while we were leaving Almaty, the guide told us the stories of the peoples and the peculiarities of the ethnic group. We stopped at huge meadows of wildflowers stretching into the horizon. We visited the reservoir there and set up a small camp and drank coffee looking at the expanses of meadows and mountain passes. After that, we went to the Charyn Canyon, this is a huge crevice with a height of 15 storeys with a multi-million-year history. Andrey told about the peculiarities of the flora and fauna of this area and why the canyon was formed. After traveling through the canyon, we went along the riverbed and set up camp. There Andrey cooked meat on the fire and set the table with wine and cheese, it was an amazing finale to an eventful day. A great trip I highly recommend.
