I liked it! At affordable prices, there is a good selection of dishes and, most importantly, everything is delicious and fresh. The girls at the distribution are friendly, serve quickly. The dining room is excellent, the food is excellent, the prices are average. Everyone will find something to eat. Right in front of the train station, within walking distance. Sometimes there are a lot of people, but we always had enough space. Now, when traveling to Kazakhstan, we always have lunch and dinner there.

In the kitchen, everything I've tried is delicious.
The pastries were not the freshest, the sausage in the dough was tough. It was necessary to find out whether it was today's or not before buying.
But in general, everything is very healthy and budget-friendly, the portions are large. Especially in comparison with what is usually given near train stations in Russia.
I highly recommend the place to anyone who stops for a transfer, and just who happens to be in Petropavlovsk.

The Compote canteen is located in Petropavlovsk near the railway station, which is very convenient for passengers. The prices are quite reasonable. The range of dishes is large. The only drawback is the lack of staff. Because the cashier first serves customers, 5 people, then runs to the cashier and counts them, the rest are waiting. Then he runs to the distribution again. Then back to the cashier. If we had added staff, everything would have been fine.

I'm taking off a star for a very inconvenient entrance. Two doors are located in such a way that a person with bags or with a stroller and a child, as was the case in my case, will not be able to enter without gymnastic tricks. There is no fixation on the door, the passage is narrow. But in general, after suffering, you can then have a quiet lunch for an adequate price.

I came here solely because of the fact that the establishment is not far from the hotel and because of the good reviews.
The first impression was good, there are a lot of people in line, which means it should be worth it.
We went on a weekday in the late afternoon.
Everything was fine for the price, not expensive, but the dishes were cold, perhaps just because of the flow of people, they were heated in the microwave for literally 30 seconds and switched to the next customer.
I am sure that if you come here when everything is just cooked, it will be very tasty, but in my case we couldn't even finish everything we took.
The only thing I can highlight is the compote, it was really delicious, and the cold pasta and soup were not impressed at all
