The church has a rich history, full of rumors.
They say it was erected in honor of the birth of the long-awaited son of Anthony Kosice. There are also rumors about the nanny, who was buried alive in the walls, who dropped the child, which caused his death. The shape of the temple in the form of a rotunda is unusual. Its compact volume, devoid of towers, but crowned with a monumental faceted dome, is almost unique.
