One of the few places where we return when we get bored in the city and want to walk around beautiful places. The fortress itself may not look so impressive separately, although it is very atmospheric. But in combination with nature, this is something that is definitely worth a look. It is not difficult to get to it, the road is not perfect, but tolerable. You can park in a eucalyptus grove, walk along the shore and climb up the pier or cross the bridge over the river on the left. From above, the views are breathtaking. Lots of greenery, sky and clear blue sea. Nearby there is a cafe and an observation tower 50 rubles. There is no one to take payment out of season. A playground that has seen better days. In Abkhazia, there is a lot of tension with this. There are many locations for spectacular photos. The boat is still lying by the river below.

An interesting, easily accessible fortress right on the beach on a hill. The territory is not guarded, fenced, and admission is free. I recommend stopping by for 30 minutes in good weather.

An interesting fortress, it's a shame that the Abkhazians don't know anything about it.
This is the oldest of the fortifications of the Genoese period in Abkhazia, it dates back to the XIII century.
History: the fortress was one of the key bases of the Italians on the territory of modern Abkhazia. It was built in the period from XIII to XV centuries as one of the Genoese trading posts. The trading post traded ordinary goods with the local population, and subsequently became the center of the slave trade.

The fortress is good. For some reason, they keep putting it from the same angle. There is a cafe nearby. If you are masochists, go here. She asked what to eat. The answer is to read the menu. I tried to ask the composition of the dish, the cashier turned around. We also turned around and left. Our neighbors said they left too. When will people realize that a boorish attitude is a loss of money and reputation? There is a cafe a little further down Beregovaya Street behind the Glass. The questions were answered, the food was delicious. That's where they left the money.

A picturesque place - the ruins of an ancient fortress, an observation deck on a tree - a great adventure and a super view!
There is a good cafe nearby - its own pizza, khachapuri, soups, cutlets, excellent barbecue, feihui compote, milkshake!
There is a playground near the cafe.
Thanks to the local reviews - we found both a eucalyptus grove and a boat)))
We turned at the very end, so we parked right in this grove, it's better to turn earlier, as the navigator shows - then the entrance to the fortress itself.

An old stone building. There is an entrance inside the fortress, but there is very little space there. It is located upstairs with a sea view at the very edge of the high shore, so be careful with the children.

The fortress is located on the edge of a cliff and fits stunningly into the drama of solitude near the sea. Nevertheless, you can have a snack in the cafe and drink beer here.
At sunset, you can take great photos and even climb a homemade observation tower on a tree for 50 rubles!

An ancient landmark. An interesting and colorful place. It is a pity that little attention is paid to the safety of this object. Territories are being destroyed from the sea, and a little more will reach the fortress itself.

An atmospheric place! It is better to arrive in the evening, at sunset. The sea view is amazing.
The only thing that spoils the picture is the garbage that lies everywhere, in the fortress, nearby, on the beach by the sea next to the fortress.

The abandoned remains of the Genoese fortress. A beautiful place with panoramic views. There are cafes nearby, endless beaches, camping, a lot of people were in August 2022. The beaches are filled with vacationers. There are about 100 cars, they park right on the beach, they shit under eucalyptus trees, they put barbecues right under the trees, apparently there will not be a eucalyptus grove here soon.
If you're nearby, you can come in and enjoy the views while you can

A mysterious place on the seashore near the mouth of a small river. It was the last fortress of the Ottoman Empire. They kept slaves here, as far as I understood. There is a yoga meadow nearby with a view of the sea. There is a cafe. Thanks to the caretaker of the fortress, who looks after, cuts plants, saving the wall from destruction. There is very little left of the building, but it has its own charm. If you look at the sea, there is a small river to the right of the fortress. After crossing it, you get to the beach with eucalyptus trees. There's an overgrown boat there. You can also use it for an unusual photo. I was here in cloudy weather, not in the tourist season, there were almost no people: yogis on nails inside the fortress and yoginis on mats on the grass)

A well-preserved small Hanseatic fortress, located on a high bank above the mouth of the river, which, according to historians, in the early Middle Ages, merchant ships could enter and be protected by the fortress. The fortress offers beautiful views of the coast. There is a Fortress cafe of the same name next to the fortress, where you can sit so that the hike to the fortress is not very short. With the complete absence of attractions in the vicinity, this fortress is a whole event for connoisseurs of this kind of historical artifacts.
